Jun 25, 2021 Episode 19
Hawe Yonas

We have an eventful episode for this week and it is all about Trans athletes competing in the olympics and Juneteenth celebrations. This episode starts off with a quick description about the “security” job I have been doing and why I already put in my two weeks. We then discuss if it is offensive for companies like IKEA to honor Juneteenth by serving their Black employees fried chicken and watermelon.

Following our discussion about the importance of fried chicken and watermelon we move onto why New Zealand going “woke” has cost them to look like the dumbest nation at the olympics. Trans weightlifter  Laurel Hubbard will be the oldest weightlifter at the olympics representing New Zealand after qualifying for the team. Have we got to the point where we ignore the biological differences between men and women and allow anybody to compete against anybody?
