How do people become uber-successful real estate investors? In this case, at a very young age of 22. Jabbar Adesada shares his journey of overcoming adversity to achieve financial freedom and success in real estate investing. Growing up in poverty with an abusive mom, Jabbar discusses his traumatic childhood and pivotal move to live with his estranged father at 15. After discovering Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad Poor Dad," Jabbar became obsessed with building assets and not liabilities. He bought his first rental property at 18 while serving in the military, living on a futon and renting out rooms. Jabbar then started raising money from investors and partnering to scale up, buying nearly 10 more rental units within a couple of years.
