188 – Do you think you can afford to get started in rent to rent?
This is a question I get asked a LOT!
But I like to ask the question in a different way... Can you afford not to start?
👍 If you know you are meant to get started in property.
👍 If you know you are meant to make money outside of your job.
👍 If you know you are meant to buy assets that work for you while you rest.
👍 If you know you’re meant to leave a legacy.
Then you know you can’t afford not to start.
There’s certain spending that we make non-negotiable like, rent or mortgage and utility bills. Then we have the things we choose to buy. Many of us have smart phones which cost £500-£1,000 - years ago we’d never imagine spending that amount on a smart phone. But now it feels essential.
You invest in the things that are important to you.
If business is important to you, if freedom is important to you, if assets are important to you.
Make it important.
Instead of,
"I can’t afford this"
"How can I afford this?"
I see a lot of confusion around this and you might be surprised at how small the investment is.
