Show Notes

Welcome to episode 008 of Ask The Angels where we answer your rent to rent questions.

This one is a very good question about how long rent to rent contracts should be...

"Just a quick question regarding timeframes.
I wanted to know if there is a minimum time for rent to rent deals.
If so, is one year a standard timeframe before agreeing to a longer term. "

Minimum contract term

We have a minimum contract term of three years.
This is because onboarding and tenanting a property requires an investment of our team’s time.  And if we’re paying for a refurb, it’s an investment of our money too.
Therefore, we prefer contracts for a minimum of three years.

If you’re in Rent 2 Rent Kickstarter Programme you find the full 911 on how to work out if a deal is profitable and structure your deal effectively in M5.2.
