If you were to read through the Bible, you’d eventually reach the book of Revelation, where you encounter a strange world filled with images of swords, dragons, angels, bizarre beasts, and visions of the end of the world. Some have attempted to decipher a hidden code that will reveal secrets about the future. Others view it as a call to retreat from the world. But we believe it’s neither of these. Instead, Revelation serves as a wake-up call to radical discipleship in a broken world.
Today we talk about God's wrath and how it connects to God's love.
On Confirmation Sunday, we celebrate not only the students affirming their faith but also the calling for every believer, no matter their age, to live fully into their gifts and calling.
The message, based on 1 Timothy 4, emphasizes that spiritual maturity doesn’t happen overnight—it takes training, just like any skill or talent. Through personal stories of perseverance (in running, pole vaulting, and faith), Brian and Elijah illustrate that both physical and spiritual growth require intentional practice, discipline, and perseverance.
Life in biblical times was not easy. The Jewish people were longing for a Messiah—someone who would overthrow their Roman oppressors and restore the kingdom of Israel. On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem riding a donkey. Crowds welcomed Him like a king, laying down their cloaks and waving palm branches while shouting, “Save us!” Yet others stood by asking, “Who is this?”
Jesus came as the King who would usher in God’s kingdom on earth. But by Friday, He had been crucified. What happened to the King who arrived with such celebration?
Then, on Easter Sunday, the unthinkable happened—Jesus rose from the dead.
What does it all mean?
Today we talk about finding security in the resurrection.

“What child is this?” A popular Christmas song reminds us that Jesus was a baby, but we know He is so much more. Looking at the prophecy of Isaiah 9, we will cover 4 names for Jesus: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. Take a minute this Advent to reflect on our amazing God who came as a vulnerable babe and shows us who God is.
This week we talk about Jesus.

Money was a big deal in the Biblical times. Jesus talks about it. Paul talks about it. We struggle to talk about it. Often people feel the church only talks about it because the church wants your money. Sadly, that can be true. We want to talk about it because we believe everything, we have is a gift from God and it is not about what we want from you but what God wants for you and your financial world. So we want to think about it from how are we investing what God has given us. How do we move from greed to compassion? How do we move from insecurity to dependence? How do move from temporary to eternal? And finally, how do we move from entitlement to thankfulness?
Today we talk about moving from entitled to thankful.
