My Dear Father,
I come to you with a lot of praise and gratitude as we start the year 2021.
First of all, for my life and the decision years ago to chart the path of the legal profession. Then you now hook me up with a beautiful wife who is involved in the same line of work with me and has been by now side ever since.
I guess it is you, reminding me of your Word that says – Can 2 walk together unless they are agreed?
You have always been there for us all along the way and you have also blessed us with 2 wonderful daughters. I just marvel daily as I see them develop into godly women and I have you to thank for it all.
We have started this year yet with more challenges as the pandemic is taking a new turn with its detrimental effect, but you are the same God that has taken us through the thick and thin of life and you will never forsake us.
The pandemic has meant the suspension of most trials unto later in the year putting a hold on the prosecution and the defence of clients and further delay on closure of cases.
This will have an impact emotionally and financially in individuals, so we pray that during this challenging period; you will heal the hearts of your people and be Jehovah Jireh, the source of unlimited abundance in their lives.
The pandemic is opening up new territories as a law firm that we have to tread but we know that you have gone ahead of us. This gives us the confidence and boldness to tackle the challenges when they arrive with quality and innovative solutions that will satisfy our clients
Finally, we pray for the whole legal profession in Canada to be fair and considerate during these times as a lot of individual and organisations have become insolvent. This will involve a lot of sacrifice but if you are for us, who can be against us.
