Deception: Sign of The Times!

Because of the urgency of the hour the Lord led me  to focus on what He is saying to us. We live in a time when Deception is on the prowl. Be careful how you see and how you hear.What you believe, who you believe as well as what and who you should totally reject. Filter all things through the Word of God. Refuse to compromise. Galatians 6:9 (ISV) Let's not get tired of doing what is good, for at the right time we will reap a harvest—if we do not give up.

One of the signature personality traits prevalent in the end of the age is an increase in deception.  Jesus illustrates this truth when speaking to His Disciples regarding the end of the age.

Matthew 24:3-4 (GWT) As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to him privately and said, "Tell us, when will this happen? What will be the sign that you are coming again, and when will the world come to an end?"Jesus answered them, "Be careful not to let anyone deceive you.  

Galatians 6:3 (TPT) If you think you are somebody too important to stoop down to help another (when really you are not), you are living in deception. God wants us to examine our hearts closely and frequently to guard against self deception.

Colossians 2:6-7 (NIV) So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
