Listen in on today's discussion and my self diagnosis of PMDD. I share my insight on the disorder and what I have been experiencing. I am hoping that by sharing my personal story that it will help others put a name to what they have been experiencing as well.
Some things to note:
Chronic Disease is defined broadly as conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both.
This is PCOS and PMDD for me.
PMDD is a lot of the time self-diagnosed simply because a doctor cannot get inside to experience what you are feeling, and anxiety and depression are often symptoms of this disorder, so therapists may misdiagnose if they are not educated on the disorder.
YOU know your body better than anyone else. Stay educated. Stay in tune with your body.
