Hi and welcome to episode 77 of The ERP Minute. I am your host, Rebekah McCabe.

Last week, Blackbaud announced financial results for its fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. Full-year 2022 total revenue exceeded $1 billion with 14% growth, which met or exceeded guidance. GAAP total revenue was $274.8 million, up 10.8%, with $265.2 million in GAAP recurring revenue, up 11.1%.

As we continue to see, vendors are experiencing significant growth that appears to be extending into 2023. This growth means greater advancements and resources for innovation in the ERP space.

On February 14th, NetSuite celebrated the one-year anniversary of the NetSuite Accelerator program, encouraging diversity in entrepreneurship. In the last year, the program has partnered with five organizations that share in its goal of helping founders and leaders from diverse communities build successful businesses and has had 22 organizations join the program.

We are excited to see the expansion of this program and the opportunities it is delivering to diverse business owners. We hope to see similar investments from other vendors across the market.

In other news, Salesforce announced it will purchase 280,000 megawatt hours of renewable energy certificates from small, distributed energy projects over the next eight years to accelerate clean electricity access in emerging markets and help maintain its commitment to match 100% of the electricity it uses with renewables.

Vendors are responsible for holding themselves accountable for their carbon footprint, and Salesforce is taking significant initiative to reduce its impact on the environment.

Finally, BT, the UK’s leading telco, switched on its Internet of Things (IoT) national roaming SIMs for businesses across the UK, allowing them to keep smart devices permanently connected regardless of location. This will give users reliable, fast network access no matter where they are – in cities, rural areas, or by the coast.

Telco providers are investing in infrastructure that will really drive a whole new level of presence with ERP allowing users to always be present. It is great that the advancements of these companies are creating the next generation of infrastructure.
