Many doctors will agree that mental health is super important yet it is still very much overlooked. Women, in particular, are often "under-diagnosed" because we do an incredible job of "masking" the issue and also because of the stigma associated with a psychiatric diagnosis.
My guest speaker today is Dr. Veronica Saleh. She is board certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. She completed medical school at UCLA and her Adult Psychiatry Residency as well as her Child and Adolescent Fellowship at UCSF. She is currently in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area serving children, teens, adult individuals and families.Her areas of expertise include ADHD, Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Women's and Cultural Psychiatry.
