Speaker 3:

Hey Miles beckler here, miles beckler.com and in this video we are going to talk about success versus failure with the goal of breaking down a misconception that might be hiding in your subconscious mind and that could literally be holding you back from taking action and getting on the path to success. Now, how do I know this? It's because this is the exact thing that was holding me back. And it wasn't until I read a little book called Go For No, and I kind of obtained this idea that I'm gonna share with you in this video that I was able to break that down rearrange kind of the way I thought about success and failure and that really got me onto a path that has resulted in a, a magnificent series of events since. Alright, so what is it? What are we talking about here? So traditionally people think about success and failure like this, they think that they're in the middle, right? And then success is on one side and failure is on the other side, right? And so the thought is that all I need to do is do successful things and keep moving towards success and do the right thing and I'll achieve success. And at all costs don't do things that are failure, right? So don't do failure things and only do success things. And this puts us in a loop where we're just looking for, okay, what's the right thing to do? What's the right niche? What's the right choice? What's the right tool? And we're always looking for the most successful thing. But this is the false belief, right? This is not reality. That's not how it actually works. And that's what's holding us back is cuz we're falsely thinking that, that all we need to do are these successful things and we'll get there. So what's the truth? All right, let me uh, start this over real quick. And the truth of the matter is that we're all over here on one side and then failure is here and then we have success. All right? So this is the real way that it's laid out for us. And the truth of the matter is that we have to go through failure in order to get to success. Success is actually on the other side of failure. See, when I was getting going and first trying to make my first businesses get'em off the ground, I was convinced that I needed to find the right things to do at all times. Well, guess what? I couldn't find the perfect right things. And anytime I tried something and it didn't work, I stopped completely and I went back into kind of the, the thinking and the researching phase. It wasn't until I really reframed where success is in my life compared to where failure is in my life that I understood, ah, forward progress, just keep making forward progress, keep taking actions. I don't care if it works. In fact, I'm happy if it doesn't work right? The more often I can get these little failures and try these things, it don't work the closer I'm getting to success. My first marketing funnels were terrible. They were absolutely terrible. My first headlines I wrote for advertisements were terrible. My first Facebook ad campaigns did not work at all. The first time I tried to install WordPress was a disaster. I the list, honestly, it's a laundry list and I'm not gonna hang on it too long because the truth of the matter is the reason why I've been able to build a lifestyle business that generates multiple lifestyle businesses that generate multiple six figures a year is because I've done a lot of that and so has my wife. And we've realized that doing that more quickly, failing forward more quickly, is what gets us ultimately to success more quickly. So if you wanna succeed and you want to build an internet business, you just gotta start publishing, right? And obviously we keep our goals in our sight set on the success in our mind, in our visualizations. We keep thinking of, of the life that we're creating. That's really important to hold onto to that vision. But knowing deep down in your heart that to get there, it's gonna take a lot of failures, it's gonna lot take a lot of trial and error because ultimately trial and error is your best teacher. There's only so much I can teach you here on these videos and other people can teach you from their blogs and their info products. It really isn't until you start to implement, put things, put things into action that you really deeply at kind of a, just such a deep level, understand how the pieces fit together, what to do when this happens, what to do when that happens. This headline worked, this headline didn't work, et cetera, et cetera. So I hope this video has been enlightening. We've covered really the difference between success and failure and why failure is your friend and how you need to just start moving forward to get through failure to get to the other side cuz that's where success is.
