After 10 years of stunt riding, achieving just about every goal I set when I was a young dumbass kid looking for a creative way to run from my mental battles I've learned a lot.
I learned the finish line is not where you find what you're looking for, you find what you're looking for in the trenches. It's in the times that you have no idea what you're going to do and you're about to quit and for some reason you decide to keep pushing. It's when you run out of money and you have to find a way so you can get back to it. it's when you realize that what you're creating, you'd be willing to die for. That's what you're looking for, you're looking for something that you truly believe in, something that unlocks that obsession and grit within you. That's what the bike gave me. It gave me a great foundation for what was going to be the next thing for me. My family. Nothing could really prepare me for a the selfless identity shift that came onto me when my kids were born. I didn't know it would be so easy to give up something I once thought would be the beginning and end of my life.
