What I learned From Risking My Life (Retired Stunt Rider)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this one I'm getting real with y'all about stuff I've never fully shared before. I talk about being 18, depressed, suicidal, and how my parents put me on antidepressants thinking it would help, but I ended up addicted for almost 7 years. My wife (girlfriend at the time) literally had to lay in bed with me for a week while I withdrew from that medication like a drug addict.
I get into how stunt riding actually saved my life, but not for the reasons you'd think. I wasn't talented. I was one of the worst riders in the area when I started. The truth is I wanted to die, and the harder I pushed toward death on that bike, the better I got. That's the real story behind how I became one of the best in the country.
I also talk about my 2015 accident, losing 10 years of savings in 6 months day trading, working jobs I hated, quitting with $7 in my bank account, and doubling my income two months later by finally betting on myself.
If you're a man stuck in your head telling yourself stories that aren't even true, or you feel like you've got potential just sitting on the table, this one's for you. Every man needs something he's willing to die for, and I'm sharing how I found mine (and lost it, and found it again).
