Speaker 1up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up. Everybody. Welcome back to a brand new episode of the Almost Brothers podcast. On today's episode, we are at Friendsgiving 2024. Boop, boop.
Speaker 2You have to find the right button every time.
Speaker 1I always forget how they're labeled. I so, anyway, on this episode we've got Richie, rich.
Speaker 3What's up Ty Ty, yo just like super white yo, yo.
Speaker 2I just want to say right here and now that I have had multiple comments and compliments on my shirt from the last episode. That's so true so put that in the comments.
Speaker 1Your picnic table. There's a lot of liars in the world. At my picnic table. We were getting in trouble because we were on your head about that, yeah, y'all should be in trouble for that Shameful behavior. And we also have Liv.
Speaker 5How's it going? How's it going as well as everyone else Everyone say hi Hi.
Speaker 7Maybe that came through.
Speaker 2It's like the monotone Hi, that's the Almost Brothers Choir back there.
Speaker 7We're all stuffed with turkey and mashed potatoes.
Speaker 1And we also have Jamie on the soundboard.
Speaker 6Dern Dern, diddy, dern dern.
Speaker 3And in person You're going to cut the cord what cord, power cord, oh the microphone cord All the cords.
Speaker 2We are not, however, stuffed with dressing, because Mike forgot it. It's in the turkey.
Speaker 5He just forgot to tell us about it.
Speaker 1I didn't make the turkey.
Speaker 7He just forgot to tell us about it. Listen, it was a happy little accident.
Speaker 3It was a surprise yeah, a surprise, after I'd already eaten all my food.
Speaker 2Isn't that what Julie said when she found out about you?
Speaker 3Oh man, Where's?
Speaker 1the applause button for that one, so funny.
Speaker 2She's going to hurt me for that one.
Speaker 7Watch out, watch out, watch out oh gosh, I forgot, I changed that one.
Speaker 5You're going to need to push that button. Oh my gosh, I forgot I had that man.
Speaker 1So, on today's episode, we're going to go around the table and the house and the couch. Jimmy, you're asleep, okay, not yet. We are going to talk about some things that we are thankful for, all right, so who would like to go first?
Speaker 7I don't like how everybody looked immediately right at me.
Speaker 1Like you all were, just like might as well start with you. You're the guest today.
Speaker 3Okay, yeah, you're the guest in our house, tyler's piercing.
Speaker 1His eyes are piercing at you right now.
Speaker 7Sorry, I thought I was going to have to get on to my kids.
Speaker 5Busted Big time.
Speaker 2I got something I'm thankful for. I got something I'm thankful for. Okay, oh Lord, okay, jim, I'm glad and very thankful for what oxygen I can Leave a big rich trying to take it on from me. You say oxygen, oxygen. How am I taking oxygen, I don't know. But that's to take it off from me.
Speaker 1You say oxygen, oxygen.
Speaker 2How am I taking oxygen?
Speaker 1I don't know but that's messed up. We need that to live. I mean, I know I eat a lot. Big body, big lungs.
Speaker 4I don't think.
Speaker 3I'm out there just eating atoms. Yum, yum.
Speaker 7I wish y'all could see his face when he does that. Like imagine somebody, being very dramatic, trying to bite into an apple.
Speaker 1Now, where were we? Thankful Liv go.
Speaker 7Okay, I guess I'm going first.
Speaker 2Looks like it.
Speaker 7I guess. Well, I don't guess, but for me I'm thankful for I don't like how Matt is staring at me. That's what I'm not thankful for. He's just right around the corner. No, I'm thankful for family and I'm thankful if you'd let me finish, I might include you Might, but you know that's out the window you just made the list. And my husband.
Speaker 3Number one.
Speaker 4You need an awe button on there.
Speaker 5We're so so good.
Speaker 7No, I'm thankful for being able to have extra family, you know.
Speaker 2Bonus.
Speaker 7Yeah, bonus family, extra family on top of your other extra family. Yeah know, bonus. Yeah, bonus family.
Speaker 3Extra family on top of your other extra family.
Speaker 7Yeah, oh my gosh, I was like Lord.
Speaker 1When you also have your parents here and they want to come on.
Speaker 7No.
Speaker 5No, nothing. You ain't got nothing, no.
Speaker 2All right, nope, that was a negative yeah.
Speaker 1Say no.
Speaker 7Yeah.
Speaker 1Okay, ty-ty.
Speaker 7Your wife. You know it doesn't make, it's not the same thing if you prompt each other.
Speaker 1It doesn't mean as much. Yeah, it's like holding up the signs, listen, applause thing if you prompt each other, it doesn't mean as much.
Speaker 3It's like holding up the signs Applause. I'm thankful for everyone here. Why are you looking at me like that?
Speaker 7I'm just waiting.
Speaker 3Okay, that includes my wife.
Speaker 7Oh see how it is.
Speaker 3I'm thankful for the dogs, especially the one that has not shut up in the last two hours. Lila Mae, I'm thankful for this house, that we're able to have friends getting in.
Speaker 3I mean, I think about this kind of every day, you know, because live knows I complain about work and all that, but also think about you know, because I try to put myself in a positive mindset in the morning going to work, like I'm thankful to at least have a job to go to that allows me to pay for this house and the things we have, and all that thankful for the season of life that I'm in yeah, the sorry, different, did not mean opportunities I've been given, the different opportunities that will eventually come my way, and just things of that nature I love it was.
Speaker 1Was that a hiccup? What was that? That little live hiccup my bad, just one, just a singular hiccup I had one right before we started, and then that was the second one.
Speaker 7I think it's microphones. I really think that's what it is.
Speaker 4I don't know. She does it every time. She sings too.
Speaker 3Just like a clearing of her chi or something that's her vocal warm-up, All right.
Speaker 1I'm good, I'm ready, got to make sure I hit those high notes. I mean, I'll tell you what. That's what it sounded like. It sounded like you stepped on a squirrel.
Speaker 2Leave the squirrel alone.
Speaker 1All right, Richie Rich.
Speaker 2Man, I don't even know where to start, really.
Speaker 3You start with me.
Speaker 2I'm not going to go ahead and start with Tyler. That's rude. No, I am thankful for our family, our extended family, bonus family, as Liv said, if you listen to the episodes that we've had this year, it's been a little rough for the Randall clan and me and my wife are in a really good place right now and I'm thankful for that. I'm thankful that we've moved back down here from the Jackson area, got us a house in Kennett, got the adoptions final with the kids. I'm thankful my best friend is back in town.
Speaker 1Come on, I haven't left. I've been here the whole time.
Speaker 2And yeah, man, I got a job today, I started today a new job and it's just blessings abound right now. It's pretty amazing.
Speaker 1That is awesome.
Speaker 2Well, that's all we have for you today.
Speaker 3Michael.
Speaker 1I'm thankful for Jesus, obviously, and his grace and mercy and love.
Speaker 2Way to point out that we didn't say that K-Teacher's pet.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 3How cliche comes from the pastor. I'm sorry you go ahead.
Speaker 1No, I am. I'm just thankful for for second chances at a lot of things and just the blessings that come from that and the friendships that came from that, and thankful for my wife and my kids and things like that. But I'm thankful for y'all. I'm thankful for this family, this extended family, and just what y'all mean to me and, more importantly, what y'all I'm thankful for. This family, this extended family, and just what y'all mean to me and, more importantly, what y'all mean to my kids. That's a huge deal. Our family is kind of a broken, scattered family and they don't have a lot of support and not a lot of us are close. So having y'all in their lives and your kids in their lives, and Tyler and Liv as their godparents means a whole lot.
Speaker 3You what I said.
Speaker 1I am the godfather. That's right. So that means a lot to me knowing that my kids have that support system.
Speaker 2Yeah, it's really cool to see us all at a ballgame for each other's things. It's like we show up in mass. Yeah, oh my gosh, I'm like dang other's things and it's like we show up in mass.
Speaker 3Oh my gosh.
Speaker 4They brought the cult with them.
Speaker 5They see us all with the tattoos.
Speaker 3We were at church talking to one of the youth and they were like shave your head and put a big L for Liberty Hill. I was like at our old church we all got matching tattoos. They all froze for a minute. I was like, all right, our old church.
Speaker 7We all got matching tattoos. They all kind of froze for a minute I was like, yeah, and they're like, oh, y'all are serious oh snap, they froze and they were like what?
Speaker 1We don't mess around. It was voluntary.
Speaker 7Yes, nobody was harmed in the making of this church.
Speaker 2The juice is great. You're all fine.
Speaker 1Come on now. But yeah, just thankful for things like that and everything else just kind of flows downhill from that, and thankful for our church that we've been blessed with.
Speaker 2Amen.
Speaker 1And we're just excited, man for sure. You know what else I'm thankful for what? One tree hill, oh man, oh my gosh, what, that's what.
Speaker 2I'm thankful for what? One Tree Hill. Oh man, oh my God, what Dude get it real Did you see, today, one of them died.
Speaker 1One of them died, yes, yes, do you see who it was?
Speaker 4It was the dude that played I can't remember the character's name. Like Josh, josh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3Alex Dupree's fake boyfriend. I didn't either I had to go.
Speaker 6Look at it, he was only in like what?
Speaker 2five episodes? Yeah, something like that. Yeah, that's his one claim to fame, alright, yeah it said he was.
Speaker 3He was in a a play that Bethany Joy Lenz like, I guess, like co-wrote or co-produced or something, and he was. I don't know who that is apparently that's most of what he did was like, I guess, Broadway.
Speaker 1Yeah, plays and stuff like that, cool, cool. That's what's up. Yeah, just again. Thankful for the family that's in here, thankful for Jim and his mustache.
Speaker 2His soul patch.
Speaker 3Yeah, soul patch that patch got a lot of soul.
Speaker 1Thank you for Brittany and the cake balls that she makes.
Speaker 3Why do you?
Speaker 2got to bring it up. I'm sorry, they were delicious man and they were confetti. I take it back. I'm not your friend anymore.
Speaker 1So good. Thankful for what else was made, man, it was good Chicken and cheese cake and green bean casserole. Green bean casserole. Oh man.
Speaker 2It was all good.
Speaker 1Yeah, the KFC mac and cheese.
Speaker 3Homemade from KFC. That's right, I slaved over the drive-thru it was ridiculous. That's funny. I said hey, how big do y'all sell your mac and cheese?
Speaker 1How much can I get at once? He?
Speaker 3goes well. We got one that'll feed 20 to 25 people and then one that'll feed 30 to 35. I said, let's do the 20 to 25. He goes well, let me make sure I got enough mac and cheese.
Speaker 7That's an awfully odd request. Just mac and cheese.
Speaker 1I had Jamie go to McDonald's. She didn't even know this was a thing. They sell box of cookies. What? Oh really, I forgot for a second, we need a box of cookies.
Speaker 3She said they looked at her like she was out of her mind.
Speaker 1You really want a box of cookies. I'm going to need you to go to the back and get that box of cookies.
Speaker 2Did you see? Their Subway now has a foot long cookie. Yes who needs that much cookie and a foot-long churro. Yeah, I saw that too, did you?
Speaker 3see, McDonald's got that deal where you can get 40 nuggets for like was it $12? $11.
Speaker 1That's absolutely bonkers.
Speaker 5Love some nuggies, man Nuggies are life, that's bonkers.
Media and Gaming Discussions
Speaker 1Bonkers so before we start kind of going around the room and getting everybody else to jump in here, let's go ahead and go to the segment. That's what's up. So what's going on this week? It's something you're watching, listening to, maybe a puzzle you're putting together. I'm going to start Some Legos.
Speaker 2I don't do Legos.
Speaker 1Me neither, because I'm a man.
Speaker 2Where's that cricket noise? So, anyway, I got a really good deal on a PS5. So yeah, I got God of War. Started playing that, and I've never played it before because the last time I had a PlayStation was PlayStation 2.
Speaker 1Oh man.
Speaker 2You know I went to.
Speaker 1Xbox 18 years ago. Okay.
Speaker 2Oh, you ain't got to be putting all that out there. No, I'm just helping with this.
Speaker 1I'm staying with the story. I'm helping with this. I'm staying with the story. I'm trying to we're good.
Speaker 2Okay, so, yeah, so I started playing.
Speaker 1God of War.
Speaker 2Fake gamer. It is really, really, really cool.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's fantastic. Did you ever beat the guy, the fire guy?
Speaker 2I haven't played it again since then, I've been working. Okay, some people work, for it's this thing they do when you go to a job and they pay you to do stuff.
Speaker 5Oh yeah, it's crazy. What kind of stuff.
Speaker 3Huh, what kind of stuff.
Speaker 2Well, today I watch videos he watched.
Speaker 1TV Exactly For a living today. Atari, yeah, yeah, that's where it's at right there.
Speaker 2I like Atari man Little pawn.
Speaker 1Yep, oh, that used to blow your mind, though just like you, can you push up and it goes up like it's crazy. Look at these graphics.
Speaker 3You remember that? You remember that episode of you watched that semi-show. Yeah, you remember that episode I didn't watch it a lot okay, that episode where kelso and red, like they were messing with the pong, it would like take it apart and try like reprogram it to make smaller paddles or whatever. You don't remember that, no.
Speaker 5That was the funniest thing.
Speaker 4That sounds like something they would do.
Speaker 3And then we could just take it apart and make smaller paddles. And then they did. It was funny.
Speaker 2That must have been one of the garage scenes.
Speaker 1Right.
Speaker 5Right.
Speaker 1Okay, ty what you got. Got something you've been watching, listening to a show, a song, a movie, um been writing new songs that's about it.
Speaker 7They sound really good, by the way good, correct. Listen that support yeah that's what I like to hear, even Even though Paul gets to hear them first.
Speaker 3but whatever it's fine, he's the one that helps me out. He's the one that has to tell me if it's bad or not.
Speaker 7Okay.
Speaker 3I sent one to Michael.
Speaker 2He stepped two steps back right on that one.
Speaker 3I sent one to Michael. He called me afterward to let me know how bad it was.
Speaker 2It was very nice of him. I was like, can I be?
Speaker 1honest with you. He's like yeah, I was like, are you sure? He was like yeah, I was like it's really good. Yeah, it's really good.
Speaker 2I still haven't heard it, so I'm like way down on the list of people that get to hear this stuff apparently Dang.
Speaker 3Hey, we're in this together, richard, frank, frank. Here's it before I do but yeah, that's really it.
Speaker 7I'm not really listening to anything new yeah, brandon lake all the time.
Speaker 3I mean his new single came out last.
Speaker 1Yeah, you talked about that last time I will, I will say this, though I put on uh on apple music.
Speaker 2I went to the like brandon lake channel, or whatever it's called. Dude is boss, I mean daring a single song he does. It ain't amazing.
Speaker 1Well, again it's. It helps that he's got songwriters around him of the highest caliber.
Speaker 3That definitely helps.
Speaker 1Okay, write new songs, liv. What you got, something you're listening to, reading, watching- I don't read.
Speaker 3We don't read in this house.
Speaker 7I can I just choose not to.
Speaker 3We don't read in this house. Now that I have that choice.
Speaker 5That makes sense.
Speaker 3It's like smoking. You better do it somewhere else, that's right, get that book out of here.
Speaker 1Is that a?
Speaker 7book, burn it. No, I have been watching Outer Banks.
Speaker 2Did you just start?
Speaker 7it.
Speaker 1No, I watched the final season, oh Okay.
Speaker 7It wrecked me.
Speaker 2That's what Easton said. He had to call you after he saw your post.
Speaker 7And he was like can you believe it?
Speaker 2No spoilers, yeah, and he was like can you believe it? No spoilers, no spoilers.
Speaker 1Yeah yeah, last time y'all were spoiling the Lion King Like come on man.
Speaker 7Oh it was. It was so good, but it was like oh.
Speaker 1Okay, a little tough.
Speaker 7I wasn't ready. Okay, where's it rank up?
Speaker 1against Vampire Diaries.
Speaker 7It's right up there, really yeah. Okay, this season felt rushed, though it felt like everything was rushed.
Speaker 1It probably was. It probably got canceled. They had that one last season. They had to wrap it up Better not have there better be more.
Speaker 3Calm down there. Better be more. I think I did.
Speaker 7saw they got approved or whatever for season five, I think I did see that they can't leave it how they left it. That's what I thought you were talking about.
Speaker 1The new one came out.
Speaker 7That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1The season 5. That's what.
Speaker 5I thought I seen they announced it. I didn't know if it came out yet. There is another season coming.
Speaker 7Thank God, they can't leave it how they left it.
Speaker 1I haven't seen any of it. I like good shows, so so then we're going to.
Speaker 2That is a death glare.
Speaker 1if I've ever seen one, you're about to hear a Okay, other banks, all right, I like it. I have been watching a very, very obscure show.
Speaker 7Oh gosh, Like that's probably he's going to guess it starts with an. O, I heard about it or not, it ends with an.
Speaker 4L.
Speaker 1It's called One Tree Hill.
Speaker 3No, it's Two Flower Mountain, two Flower.
Speaker 1Mountain, one Tree Hill. I thought that's what's up was with something new. Listen, I'm not done. Okay, are you?
Speaker 2watching it backwards.
Speaker 1So we're watching that again when?
Speaker 3you at it's tradition.
Speaker 1We are on. Let's see, dan just had his heart attack. Spoiler alert. Really because there's a whole new generation watching this. It was in the top ten on Netflix or Hulu the other week, so if you're watching One True Hell, you might want to pause this. Skip ahead about five minutes. We're where Dan had his heart attack and Keith and Lucas are about to move back to town.
Speaker 3It's season two. It's so good.
Speaker 7Wow.
Speaker 1It was awesome the first time.
Speaker 3I still hate seeing the One Tree Hill group where people are like I don't like him, no one say nothing. Stop commenting.
Speaker 5It's so good.
Speaker 1Let them rant as we watch it. I remember sitting down with everybody and when we all watched it with y'all and it was yeah.
Speaker 5So that it's playing right storm clouds.
Speaker 2Storm, clouds, babe.
Speaker 1Where's?
Speaker 5Bunny.
Speaker 1Bunny buckle in One tree hill, buckle in and then playing Persona 5. What is that? It's on Switch. It's like an anime.
Speaker 2Oh, okay.
Speaker 1It's really fun, so I've been playing. That Ain't no love in Oklahoma.
Speaker 5Wow.
Speaker 1You had to get it going, didn't you? You'll know when it's coming for you. You sound just like Luke Combs Dude you thought he was in the room just now.
Speaker 2Don't co-sign that I'm sorry, Jimmy.
Speaker 1Well, speaking of James, come on in here, since you want to talk. You want to talk about my country music future Talk that crap, she can take my mic, nashville. Okay, what are you thankful for?
Speaker 6You, literally, are wearing your hoodie that says thankful, I'm thankful for this hoodie that I stole from you because it used to be yours. Now it's mine. Thank you.
Speaker 1Like everything else in my life.
Speaker 6Thank you for providing me with clothes.
Speaker 1You're welcome. Glad I could help. Is that it A hoodie? Oh no, that's it, oh okay.
Speaker 6Yeah, I'm thankful for the clothes on my back.
Speaker 1On y'all's back.
Speaker 6On my back.
Speaker 1No, it ain't. Y'all's no more. Now it's hers, the clothes that.
Speaker 3Michael wears once and then he goes and gets me.
Speaker 6I'm thankful that he pays for the clothes and then I wear them clothes and then I wear them.
Speaker 2That's very, very kind of you.
Speaker 1It'll have tags on them and she's just like oh, this is mine right. I'm like I mean, I guess it is now. Is that cheerful?
Speaker 3giving Michael. That's what it is. Is that cheerful? You don't seem so cheerful.
Speaker 1You know what you gotta be like Jesus.
Speaker 6I heard you over here saying I'm thankful for Jesus. Did you not hear me say suck up. I call him a teacher's pet.
Speaker 1Yeah, you are. Why are you?
Speaker 6such a hater. I'm so thankful for this podcast that I listen to all the time Lies.
Speaker 1Wow Lies.
Speaker 6Religiously.
Speaker 1What was the last episode?
Speaker 6It was like heart. No, it was about games. It was either about your heart or gaming.
Speaker 2Neither one, actually Not even close.
Speaker 1Don't touch me, you get your hand off of me, it was the Cape Con one. It was. You were going to get there eventually. If you just start guessing, that's the last Con one, it was you were going to get there eventually if you just started guessing, yeah, that's the last one, I listened to yeah was it, I'm up today.
Speaker 2I don't remember us ever having a gaming episode no she's just going to keep guessing.
Speaker 1Was it about dogs? Was?
Speaker 6it about movies, was it about? Yeah, I'll get there. Okay, you're thankful for the podcast.
Speaker 1Okay, you're thankful for the podcast.
Speaker 6Okay, um, of course, family, this family here, brittany that's pointing at herself.
Speaker 3Yeah, okay, we ain't even seen Brittany in two months, yeah, You're in trouble.
Speaker 1Tyler is really upset at that.
Speaker 3Ghost Turn Liv's mad too, dern.
Speaker 6Dern diddy darn darn.
Speaker 3I don't do it at the same time.
Speaker 5I don't think.
Speaker 6I can do it that good anymore. Oh, my loving husband.
Speaker 2Oh, there he is, and my kids, you're top.
Speaker 1See, that's what I'm talking about. I'm up there.
Speaker 6I mean Jesus, and then you and the kids, I hope so you know, I'm up there, I mean Jesus, and then you and the kids.
Speaker 2I hope so, you know, as it should be Right Okay.
Speaker 6Whose idea was it to bring me over here?
Speaker 1Mine. It was mine, it was my idea. I missed you. Do you still get excited about One Tree Hill, yes or no?
Speaker 6Yes, see.
Speaker 1She didn't even think about it Not the only one I was at a question.
Speaker 2Right, that's what I'm trying to say. You're right, it shouldn't be a question.
Speaker 3I get excited about the One Trio convention we're going to go to.
Speaker 1Yes, we are as soon as tickets come out. It's done, it's happening.
Speaker 3They're doing a Christmas thing.
Speaker 5Really.
Speaker 3But I think it's happening this month. Yeah, probably too close Next week actually, I feel like Tyler's, never actually priced the tickets I have.
Speaker 6They're not bad, I have. They're doable. He sends it to me all the time.
Speaker 1I'm like I know I want to go or drive.
Speaker 2Go ahead, I'll fly. It's Carolina.
Speaker 6Guess who's going to be driving us Big Rich.

Speaker 3I'll say whatever, pilots on American Airlines Right.
Speaker 1Right, yep, get there in a couple hours, that's true, all right. Well, babe, I sure am just thankful for you.
Speaker 6I'm thankful for everything. I know you're thankful for the hoodie Right.
Speaker 1I love you.
Speaker 6I love y'all. Do you have anything?
Speaker 1else on your heart.
Speaker 6I'm really, really full yeah, me too Like nauseating full, all right, well, let's get.
Speaker 1Bunny over here since she's getting up. Look at that perfect timing.
Speaker 6Come on over Bunny.

Speaker 1pudding was fantastic.
Speaker 5Thank you.
Speaker 1It wasn't sugar-free and I would have not eaten so much.
Speaker 5You are lying. Do not lie on here. You're lying. If I would have known, I would have not eaten so much. You are lying. Do not lie on here. You're lying.
Speaker 1If I would have known, I would have taken it.
Speaker 3You got to be authentic for the listeners.
Speaker 1Okay, I was swimming in it. It was like creeping back up.
Speaker 2If you were concerned, you would have asked. You can't ask while you're shoveling it in your mouth.
Speaker 3You're about to start sweating pudding, right? Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1Well, Jen, what are you thankful for? Give us some things that you're thankful for this Thanksgiving season.
Speaker 5My family, that's the most thing.
Speaker 1Got that new grandbaby right around the corner.
Speaker 5New grandbaby coming, cannot wait.
Speaker 2When is it? December 22nd 21st 21st is the new day.
Speaker 1It was on my birthday. They changed it. I told you that it could still change, it could.
Speaker 5Yeah, and she may go early, but it's scheduled for the 21st right now.
Speaker 1And Jonesboro, is that where she is? Yeah, okay that it's scheduled for the 21st right now. And Jonesboro, is that where she is? Yeah, okay, that's awesome. Heck, yeah, and the name is.
Speaker 5Hudson, dwayne Randall, that is awesome, Awesome.
Speaker 1I seen her the other day. They were out at Plato's and she looked like she's about ready to go.
Speaker 2She's ready. Yeah, yeah For sure you got anything else you're thankful for.
Speaker 5Yeah, my family. I'm glad we moved back here closer to everyone.
Speaker 2Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 5We have a church to go to now.
Speaker 1Yeah, are the kids liking Hawthorne?
Speaker 5Kids love Hawthorne as of now which you know, it'll change and then, they'll like it again.
Speaker 2Adriana doesn't like any school Right right Ever. I don't like it. I'm like you haven't been there yet.
Speaker 5She don't watch anything, it doesn't matter what it is.
Speaker 3She's a senior in high school.
Speaker 1She ain't going to like it until she graduated. So what's something that you're listening to watching?
Speaker 5Fire Country is what we're watching.
Speaker 1That's right, I was like I know y'all were telling me y'all were watching something.
Speaker 5My man.
Speaker 2Brody. His name is Bodie, I call him Brody because he is my bro. So that is his name. Okay, and what's it?
Speaker 1about.
Speaker 2It's about a prison fire camp. It's a really cool show.
Speaker 5Kind of like a work release type thing, where they can be fired.
Speaker 2Her bro is a terrible actor, but it's a good show.
Speaker 1And y'all finished. What was that one y'all finished, right, rookie.
Speaker 5We're caught up until the new season. I've got to check out some of these shows Rookie's really good, I've got to stop just putting my shows on repeat.
Speaker 1Yeah, it would be a good idea.
Speaker 5Yeah, start watching the new stuff.
Speaker 1But I love them, though it's hard for me.
Speaker 6I like what I like.
Speaker 3Man, yeah, yeah, stop watching One Tree Hill.
Speaker 5Oh, that's never going to happen.
Speaker 1I could add more in, but that's never going to happen.
Speaker 2You got a whole year to watch other stuff. You will be able to add more in when they reboot it?
Speaker 3No, absolutely not.
Speaker 5Oh, they will destroy it no, leave it alone.
Speaker 1Don't.
Speaker 7Please don't, please don't Hard pass.
Speaker 1Yeah Well, I know we're thankful for you too.
Speaker 5Well, thanks.
Speaker 1And your family, as chaotic as it can be, with all of us together.
Speaker 5Oh yeah, it is so awesome.
Speaker 1I mean, like when we were in the truck and Blaze just talked to me, I mean it was just it was the coolest thing, because you watch this kid you know from you know a couple years ago, right, and you're like, okay, he's not really talking, he's kind of quiet, you know, and for obvious reasons, and then to see him like now playing and growing and talking, it's just like that's so cool that you, that we were able to see that whole transition.
Speaker 2Just to clarify for our listeners blaze is our deaf son. Yes, so when we first got him he didn't have any hearing apparatus and now he's speaking in full sentences it's crazy.
Speaker 3he came up to me, looked, looked at my hat. He's like, hey, I got that on my shirt, wow.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's so cool and me and Jamie were looking at pictures the other day and it was one of me and Easton at a lock-in at Revive. Yeah, and he was so little.
Speaker 2It's crazy, it's insane.
Speaker 1It's crazy that we saw these kids and these families grow up so much. Same with Brittany and.
Speaker 2Matt. I remember when Matt had short hair. I do too. We got videos of it. We got videos of Matt dancing at Plaza Tire before that road trip Before the.
Speaker 7Branson trip. Oh, I forgot about that or during.
Speaker 2Did he complain a little down the road?
Speaker 1No, he never complained.
Speaker 5Well, it didn't as much.
Speaker 1Oh wow, because I mean it was like 600 degrees and we were all in one bus and man he just.
Speaker 2And one of these days Tyler will grow up I don't know when I'll grow up when you grow down, I'm trying. I did not know when I'll grow up, when you grow down. I'm trying. I did not have dessert.
Speaker 1Hey, you're doing good. I'm proud of you. Thank you, I didn't have a lot of dessert. That's a lie again.
Speaker 5Stop lying, yeah man.
Speaker 1I'm trying to make myself feel better. Y'all my tummy hurts.
Speaker 2Whatever you got to do for yourself From two plates of dessert, oh my gosh, I ate so much.
Speaker 1Well, we love you. What else you got on your heart, bunny?
Speaker 5Not a whole lot.
Speaker 1JB.
Speaker 5I'm looking for a job, so yeah, still, you contact Clarkton. Clarkton, yeah, I applied back. I sent my application today. Thank, you.
Speaker 3We got a friend that works there. They're looking for an ISS teacher.
Speaker 5That's what I was last school year, yep.
Speaker 1They haven't been able to replace her since. Literally, they're still looking, yeah.
Speaker 5I'm hoping to get back in there.
Speaker 1Heck yeah.
Speaker 5Well, we love you.
Speaker 1We're going to hand over to Brittany Britt Britt Tracy.
Speaker 4I don't like this.
Speaker 1What's up, brittany?
Speaker 4How's it going? It's going good. It is going good what?
Speaker 1are you thankful for?
Speaker 4I'm thankful for.
Speaker 6Will.
Speaker 3And not speaking to Liv and Tyler ever again. Oh, that's not fair.
Speaker 4Y'all always plan stuff when I have work. My mom will come home. She's like oh yeah, we've got this going on this day this week. I will have off every other day, but that day Ooh, it's your fault, Tyler, that she hasn't been around.
Speaker 1It's crazy.
Speaker 4We're not going to talk about the one who left us for months, but we'll talk about me disappearing.
Speaker 1I called both of them every other day.
Speaker 4I didn't hear from you the whole time he was gone.
Speaker 3Gone.
Speaker 1Gone, gone, gone the whole time he was gone, gone, gone the whole time he was gone. So, miss Thing, the whole time I was gone, gone. My phone didn't ring with your phone number either. Oh snap, them phone calls go out just as much as they come in.
Speaker 4I talk to Zaley though I know, yeah, exactly All the time yeah.
Speaker 3I talk to Britt and Antlin Zaley probably called me just as much as he did, yeah, she would she would FaceTime me. Just her, like sitting on the couch eating grapes or something yes, I'm like she's sitting there.
Speaker 1I'm like who are you talking to? She's like Tyler. I'm like it's two o'clock in the afternoon and I'm like is he not doing it?
Speaker 3he's like yeah, he's at work, but he answered there's one evening where she like sat her phone down. She goes, hey, watch this. And she sets the phone down like on the couch, and she like runs across the living room at your old house and she goes, are you ready? I was like yeah, and she just runs and just jumps and sits on her phone.
Speaker 1I'm like, okay, I'm like um, alright, between that and Bubby's random pictures that he sent.
Speaker 3Oh my gosh, the dude sent me pictures of kale, and I like pictures of kale, pictures of the bag of kale Out of nowhere.
Speaker 1Look at what I sent Tyler. It's like a son with a face in it eating ice cream and I'm like is there any? Context to this? No, at least.
Speaker 3Zaley attempts to have some kind of conversation. Where I don't even know how to respond to that. I shake my head.
Speaker 5I don't want to voice my disappointment.
Speaker 3It's like I don't know to I don't want to voice my disappointment, I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 1So, brett, what are you thankful for Other than Will and?
Speaker 4I am thankful for this extended family. And my mom, even though she gets On my nerves a lot here recently.
Speaker 1Oh, that's so sweet, liar.
Speaker 2Oh gosh.
Speaker 4Uh-oh, oh man, I'm thankful that I don't have to make cake pops again for another month. I'm thankful for the upcoming Branson trip.
Speaker 2I'm so excited we got a church dinner next weekend. That's what I told her.
Speaker 4He's trying to convince me to do it.
Speaker 2I thought it was a done deal.
Speaker 4You're not eating them. Why would you care? That's not the point.
Speaker 2I want everybody else to be exposed, just saying.
Speaker 4You just want the temptation, just sitting there right in front of you.
Speaker 2That's how we defeat temptation is by being confronted by temptation.
Speaker 4Come on.
Speaker 1I'm thankful for the cake balls that were made Cake pops.
Speaker 4I'm thankful for Liv, richard, mikey, jamie, jennifer, my mom, jill all the kids.
Speaker 3I bet she wants to feel how hard I can feel.
Speaker 4Let's not start threatening to break the chins again.
Speaker 3Wow, you love me.
Speaker 1You're getting too nice. Jeremy's just like oh, you didn't say Matthew, matt, she didn't say your name yeah you totally need to translate, even though we have this big speaker over here. So what is something you're watching? Listening to a TV show, a movie? Something good. Give me something good to fill in my time from One Tree Hill to One Tree.
Speaker 2Hill that he will ignore completely and not watch it's on the list.
Speaker 4That's the difficult thing, is trying to find something.
Speaker 3Brittany told me about the show, so I'm just going to put some One Tree Hill on.
Speaker 1I've got it on the list, though it's on the list.
Speaker 3That he skips buying press or clicks on One Tree Hill.
Speaker 1Oh, I've been re-watching SWAT again. Okay, does anybody watch like a reality TV?
Speaker 3I watched, like the first, I think, two seasons of Love is Blind on Netflix, okay.
Speaker 7It's hard to watch.
Speaker 3For me it's one of those I watch because of almost like how weird yeah, like what was it? Love is blind. So basically okay. So basically it's I don't know 10 men, 10 women or whatever, and they all, they go on these blind dates in these pods. For those who can't see, I'm air quoting.
Speaker 1Air quote button Air quote.
Speaker 3But basically they're getting to know each other in these rooms where they can't see each other over however many days, weeks or whatever, until someone starts asking hey, will you marry me?
Speaker 2Yeah, that's very dramatic they propose.
Speaker 3They say yes or no. They say yes, then they get to meet in person. That's weird.
Speaker 2You know what show I wish they'd bring back?
Speaker 1Rock of Love.
Speaker 2Flavor of Love.
Speaker 1Oh, I was close. Flavor of Love or Flavor of Flav?
Speaker 6Flav yeah boy.
Speaker 1That dude was off his rocker he was Well, they were all there for the publicity.
Speaker 2The money.
Speaker 1No, they really liked him.
Speaker 2Yes, that's why they were there. They liked him for his personality. His money had nothing to do with it.
Speaker 1Do you watch any reality TV or all just like regular shows? Jersey Shore.
Speaker 4I tried out Love is Blind, but I didn't really get into it. It's just weird to me.
Speaker 1Situation. He follows me on Twitter. He what he follows me on Twitter. He follows you. It's a random fact, Doesn't he, babe? I showed her one day hey situation From Jersey Shore.
Speaker 2I guess I don't know, Way to back him up there. Jamie Appreciate it. I showed her.
Speaker 4The whole like games behind reality shows I can never get behind. It's just weird to me.
Speaker 3Well, you should get him on the podcast.
Speaker 1I'll try, I'll try. No, don't get him.
Speaker 3Get him he's got a.
Speaker 1He's got a heck of a testimony.
Speaker 3Is that right?
Speaker 1Oh yeah, just like where he's come from, and drug abuse and getting cleansed and sober that's awesome. Oh my God, dude, it's it's awesome, I know literally nothing about him.
Speaker 3Yeah, it is really really cool To see how he was when the show first came out and was popular. So, now they're doing the family vacation. So he's a completely different person.
Speaker 1He's like a public speaker who's like a positive. He goes to AA meetings and encourages people to get clean and get sober. It's so, it's so good. I mean he just completely transformed, not just his drug abuse, but like his entire, like the way he was, he was just this real big jerk and now he's like just an awesome, like well, you shouldn't get him on here, that's so good. I would like to hear about it. It's really really cool.
Speaker 3Yeah, the newer seat. I guess the newer Jersey Shore followed him as he was getting ready to go to prison. Yeah, for was it two years I?
Speaker 1think it was something like that. Yeah, it was a good, I think it was 18 months, something like that.
Speaker 5Yeah, yeah, so it's really cool.
Speaker 1Yeah, what, what, what.
Speaker 4I said we called Jim.
Speaker 1Tracy, you getting up, she's a hard pass.
Speaker 4Jimbo before he falls asleep, jimbo, jimbo Dini.
Speaker 5And he said and say what Talk about how, Richard?
Speaker 1Let's get Liv back on and we'll close this thing up. Oh, she wants to get a picture.
Speaker 5Okay, cool, anybody got anything else?
Speaker 1on your heart. No, no, okay, bye, no, no, no, no. I'm thankful for you, you, you, you. Thankful for you, thankful for you, thankful for you, not you Thankful for you.
Speaker 5I'm kidding.
Speaker 1I'm thankful for you. I'm kidding, I'm thankful for you. Huh, jim, I am thankful for you. And Jim, it was a joke.
Speaker 3And the hoodie that you're wearing, both of y'all with the camouflage.
Speaker 4Even though he never really liked the guy.
Speaker 1And you know what else I'm thankful for? I'm thankful for every single listener that we have on here. Everybody that shares listens stays caught up, not Jamie. We love you and appreciate you. Please keep it up. We can't wait to see what God does in 2025. We love you so much. Have a happy Thanksgiving. We are out.
