In the latest episode I talk with Christian Picciolini, a former neo-Nazi skinhead, who left the movement over a decade ago to devote his life to “breaking the hate” through his Free Radicals Project. In addition to being an acclaimed author and public speaker, Christian is also an Emmy-award winning producer of documentaries. Last year, he did a three-part special report series entitled “Breaking Hate” for MSNBC. Previously he published White American Youth: My Descent Into America’s Most Violent Hate Movement – And How I Got Outand this year he published Breaking Hate: Confronting the New Culture of Extremism.
