Here we are episode 17 guys. Happy Easter. Happy Easter. So that's what we're going to chat about today is the energy of Easter. It sure is. What does Easter have to do with spiritual perspectives? That's right. And that's what we're going to be talking about here. Uh, we thought it would be good idea since, uh, we're coming up on that kind of season to introduce and kind of regroup about that and give the opportunity for us to regroup and people listening to regroup.
So it's a nice, we're going to invest a bit good time on the episode on this one. Yeah. All right. Well, so we're up, up, on Easter and, you might say that's the news story of the day. Easter Sunday is upon us. It's on us. Yeah. so the, think the thing that I was open with is just the big picture of renewal and rebirth. That's, that's where I'm going to start. Okay. And,
For me, it's important for me to always bring it back to what am I doing in my own life? And, I think you were, when we were sharing in the green room, before we got started, the green living room, the green living room that, you know, there's, there's a difference between working with things in a theological way or a dogmatic way, as opposed to a spiritual way.
And, the, me, that's, that's really our wheelhouse. That's really what this is all about and why people would tune in and listen, because it's how do I make this all practical in my daily life? How do I do this when I'm driving in traffic? How do I do this when I'm working with my kids or when I'm having challenges? Like, how does all this work? You might say, make it a way of life rather than a way of worship. That's right. And I think that's, people can get burned.
with the idea of religion or something like that, because whoever is sharing the message can be dogmatic, right? The message itself is pure, but it's when people have their own interpretations of how things work or how I want it to work, right? You know, and, and that's the amazing thing is people, even people who are sharing spiritually,
we can forget that they're going through their thing too. They're, making the grade too. So I need to make sure that when I'm working with this, that I'm working with from that pivot point of how can I make it practical? How can I make it a way of life and not a way of worship? so that I'm, I'm actually vested in it. It's actually moving through me and it's not something that I go and do once a year.
Right. Or it's like that thing that we say, you know, it's like, do you go into the church or does the church go into you? Right. It says you can go every Sunday, but then what's that mean? You go to the synagogue or the temple or whatever, but if you're not taking on the real source and meaning of it, then basically it's all on the surface. And one day I'm up and one day I'm down. So anyway, that brings me back to renewal. That energy of renewal is a tremendous time of the year to
to work with that. There's a from a traditional perspective, there's all this build up to this point. Right. So it's like you're actually starting to clean your system, you're taking inventory, you're you're not getting indulging in things that you don't need. people move through the lent process. That's right. Prior to Easter, for the Christian part, that's the the big the big thing. But energetically, it's just saying, from my perspective of taking stock.
getting rid of the stuff that I don't need and getting fresh and then having that renewal, right? All right. Moving forward with that. That's a really good point in that, you know, when people rebelled against say religious ideas and the dogma, it's, you know, the rebelling against someone's interpretation because what there's a common denominator in our true feelings.
And every major religion would, you know, was established with a simple message that came from the feeling part that wants to be involved in life and a part of one, one with all that loving, you know, true concern, which is really the key message of all the major religions, I would say, or at least that has a basis there. And then over time, you know, dogma was created, which is somebody else's interpretations.
And that's more from the intellect than from our true feelings. Yeah. And I'm really glad you brought up true feelings, Tom and Tiger, because for myself, I was not raised Catholic or religious. And I've, you know, dabbled a bit here and there going to church, especially like I mentioned recently when I was the church of dabblers. I am from the church of dabblers. Sounds like something right out of Monty Python. We're a dabbler. I am a dabbler.
Well, when I like when I was in high school, I, you know, tested out in churches, right with friends. And then when I was in the military, I remember every Sunday for those six weeks, we went to church because it was like a celebration of you're not back there, you know, being, you know, pounded on by the TIs and stuff. So but for myself, recognizing that a place of refuge became a place of refuge for you for what it was really originally for. It was the true essence of it. That's right. And for fellowship.
That's right. And so when these Easter and Christmas and things come around, even though maybe I'm not involved in, you know, in the perspective of Christianity, whatever, but I can feel it. Yeah. Like, I'm glad you brought up that, you know, the, the renewal part, because I, it's funny to like, was thinking, you know, it's about time for me to start doing some fasting. Yeah. Like I'm feeling my, my body is we're coming out of winter being in the Northern hemisphere here.
And I'm feeling it's time to, yeah, to take a little stock and maybe not eating as much and shedding some things. So it's interesting that that energy of what I'm feeling always is around these different timeframes of what we're going through as a collective energetically versus the actual, like you're saying, the dogma or going to church and recognizing how that's an influence in me, because it's really not. My influence is what I'm picking up energetically. right.
It's so important. I sound a little bit of like a broken record on this and I hope I don't sound like that, right? Come across that way, but it is so important for me. you know, the collective, we, the us, to find things that what, what's in that for me, not in the greedy me first, me second, me third thing, meaning, okay, how can I work with that? Because if it's something that's big out there,
then it's unachievable. If it's something that I can come home to, like you're saying, okay, well, listen, you know, I might kind of fast a little bit or I might do like, that's all making that same concept, the same spiritual premise, practical, right? Especially with getting keywords and, working with our, you know, yourself in that manner, that becomes powerful, right? It's actually saturating myself with
all those tenants with all those possibilities that I can be closer to my spiritual helpers. can be closer to the universe or God, whatever you want to call that. Right. So with, without that consistency, I'm just going to have one day on one day off one day on one day off. So the, the other thing that you inspired me to talk about there is, talking about that.
the feeling and the concept of heaven, right? The feeling and concept of heaven. Like what is that? What is heaven to me? What is heaven to you? What is that? And it eventually it boils down to a feeling, a beingness, at least it does for me. And so if I'm not practicing that, here's what it comes down to is over simplistic, right? If I'm not practicing that beingness,
How do I think I'm going to find it when it's time for me to go home? Right? Something magical is just going to completely change. I mean, I got some bad news for people is that, you know, what you see is what you get. Meaning if, if I'm consumed or I'm always caught in the goings on of planet earth, like we were talking about different stories to go into and there are all these interesting stories going on. Right. But it's.
There's a couple of them out there, particularly in the United States that are just really gotten people worked up. And if I use that, if I allow that to get me anchored, to get me bound, then what makes me think that when it's time to go home, that I'm not going to be bound because that's how I operate. Now, if I'm able to kind of like work with that, but that come back home through the whole thing.
that's when I can find it. So the analogy is, if I were to pass on, and I was all caught up in the goings on of things and the promises that I've made and, and you know, that I should do this, or I shouldn't do that, and that's right, and that's wrong, or I'm waiting for the big opportunity to come by, and then I'll get involved in life or, know, whatever the trip is, if I'm doing that more often than not,
then when I get there, I'll have heaven right in my face, right? It'll be right here and I won't see it because it's an energy, it's a vibration, it's a frequency for lack of a better word. I'm just using these terms, right? But it'll be right there, but I won't be able to see it because I'm so involved in something else. It will just blur the whole thing to me. So for me, that renewal
at this time of the year is all about coming home. It's coming home to working with myself as a spiritual being as a, as the real me. It's coming home to working with my helpers spirit. And it's coming home to that. have a purpose here. That's for me, that's that renewal and all of the environment right now is wanting to help me with that.
there's an aura that's happening in the whole world right now wanting to help me with that kind of renewal. Does that make sense? Absolutely. Yeah. And I can feel that's what I'm really feeling and picking up on. And I, and it's at also the springtime. So it's every year, this time of the year, just like it does with Christmas is one thing and other times of the year, other things too. But this is a big time of the year for that feeling of renewal and that feeling of coming home and
And I guess as I'm tuning into and, you know, contemplating like what Christians feel, so they feel that this is the rebirth, you know, Jesus rose from the dead. And so it's almost, it's, it's almost surreal for me to even feel like how they feel, but it's pretty cool because we all have our interpretations. And so I guess for myself is that really honoring the interpretations that others have and not judging.
And that's actually a big spiritual picture too, right? So, you know, if we don't judge and we just honor our, honestly, our, you know, spiritual sisters and brothers and what path they're on, that's a big aha, because a lot of people do say, boy, you're religious and you're not and all that judging stuff, right? But really coming home to myself and recognizing that, you know, they're just I've been religious in other lifetimes and just not this one, but they are where they're at. And so I really honor that.
Well, you know, what I hear you saying is that at different times of the year, there's energy there, you might say waves of energy that help us on this spiritual journey that we've got here on planet Earth. And there's times to regroup and maybe a little extra energies on planet Earth to help us let go of some old habits. You know, and our tendency has been to traditionally, the tendency has been to think of habits as
physical things we do like eating too much candy or swearing or you know something that you've been taught not to do you know you might say in our Judeo-Christian culture in Western civilization you know we're based on that philosophy so when the energy is there we go through we might have established rituals which are really there to get me
in back in touch with my true feelings with my inner direction. So somewhere along the line, things got a little corrupted or, you know, and people accepted it that they're going to just follow one person's interpretation or who's ever in charge's interpretation of, know, what it all means. But I wanted to mention that this is a time for the Jewish faith to celebrate Passover is a similar time.
And we probably can look back at, you know, pagan rituals where they had certain springtime rituals and so forth. So this has been a constant as long as people have been on the planet. There's been a sense of an awareness, you know, which you might say is a spiritual part. How do they know these things? Well, plus we get stimulated by the renewable, you might say, or the renewing that happens every spring.
you know, it's all part of our folklore and culture and of many different societies. So what I wanted to get to was saying, you know, looking at the common denominator, rather than arguing over the subtle intellectual differences, because the the search and the truth for me, what's going to give me hope is that feeling within and
You know, sometimes those ideas will give us like, he rose from the dead. So now I've got some hope. Like I, I don't die, you know, well, you know, you never did die. You always have been, and you always will be. So spiritual people have that awareness. But, I think that my final word too, is, where, where people fight or where people rebel against some sense of, ritual or religious, organization is just in that.
you know, that judging is a big one, you know, rather than here's a spiritual that is to evaluate, I'm going to evaluate what's healthy for me, what's healthy for me, and what's healthy for my family and what's healthy for my neighbors and the greater big picture and you know, on and on. And all those come down to simple, basic tenants, simply do unto others, you know,
And you would have them do unto you. That's right. And all of that underneath tone is, that respect, right? Even with or without religion, there has to be these things for us to be able to get together and to be able to work with each other without hurting each other. Right. And so those, those are the renewal that's coming back home to all of that. Otherwise you're absolutely right. I'm going to be at the mercy of whoever's up there.
chatting it up, saying, this is the way, right? Rather than giving the opportunity rather than showing ways to do it, which is, know, and, we have that term way shower, you know, it's, it's not like a dictator thing. It's actually like, Hey, I'm going, this is my way. And you know, if you want to give it a try, go for it. You know, so it's to me, that energy is so important to come back home. What is my part in it?
How can this help me go forward so that I can enjoy more so that I can have fun so I can be more abundant. If I don't go through those things like you're bringing up, like I need it's time to get a little cleansing here, you know, then when I go to bring the fresh energy in, it immediately gets tainted with the old ideas. It immediately.
get, I could put all this great food in my body, but if I still have all this build up and I'm working with all this heavy stuff, it's, it's, it'll work. It's good. It's better than nothing, but I'm, it's, I'm, my body's in, turmoil because it's combating the old stuff and then trying to work with the good stuff. So same with my ideas and same with my spiritual energy. It's, it's, if I renew myself, if I come clean again, or that's why we use the word cleanse.
Right? Now, whatever insight I get spiritually, or whether I'm working with people, I'm able to get that pureness, uncolored.
You know, now's a good time to take a quick break and we'll be right back.
Push it back.
Yeah, Tiger was a little bit.
All right, so be quiet for a minute.
Hello, we're back. Jesus, Tom. Hello. That's what we're about today. That's what angels have. Hey, Okay. So on this realm of Easter and Jesus and everything, I've noticed a lot lately about the shroud of Turin. So I wanted to bring that in and just kind of get our little spiritual perspective on what that is There's been a lot of news stories about the shroud of Turin. So let me just share what it is. It's a linen cloth bearing the image of a crucified man believed by many to be Jesus of Nazareth.
It's one of the most studied artifacts in history, but its authenticity remains a subject of debate. So let's do a little roundtable about the shroud of Turin. And what is Turin anyway? It's a place. that's what I found it. So, you know, I've watched this for a long time in my life and there was a point where I was convinced it was, you know, the the actual shroud that wrapped Jesus, that person that we know is Jesus Christ and.
he left an imprint. Did you know Jesus Christ? I may have, but I may not have. anyways, we're going to talk about that the Christ within, you know, and tuning into that vibration. So what I wanted to share about was that over the years, there's been lots of discussion and evidence and there's been scientific evidence to kind of match the consistency of what this
trout is. And I'm glad that as you look it up, it's it's unclear, but there are it's showing up on Joe Rogan, it's showing up on Dr. Richard Campbell's YouTube videos. So there it's in recent times, it's back in the news, you know. So I love it because it gives people hope, or it stimulates some interest in something more. So
That's what I wanted to mention about that. I mean, I wrote it down. should have pointed it out to you. was like, man, you're on. I was just going to say that too. I was too. The, how old is that thing and how long has that been going on? and, there's conflicting evidence. And although I haven't seen the latest YouTube videos to talk about the latest evidence and so forth. my point for bringing that up or asking that question is because.
What is it that is so important about this thing? I mean, it could be anything, right? Why is it we're so drawn to that? Or why are people drawn to that? So to me, it all comes back down to that. And I'm to use this term, term we use the Christ consciousness, right? That Christ consciousness in me, in you, in all of us. And what is that? That's the good, kind, loving, sharing part of me.
Right. And it's great to basically identify it that simple, at least in the beginning, because then I know what is conflicting with that. Why don't I feel good, kind, loving and sharing in this situation? What, what, when I wake up, am I happy to get out of bed or am I kind of like, I gotta get out of bed. Right. So there's something in conflict with that and it gives me the opportunity to recheck it. Okay. Why is that?
I mean, I think everyone's had the example of where you wake up and you jump out of bed because you want to go do something, right? It's that almost childlike part, right? But even in the job, sometimes there's something we're looking forward to. So we want to go up there and like, you don't even need the alarm. You just get up and go, right? And then there's of course the times when it's like, hit snooze, hit snooze again. I don't want to go, God. You know, so what is that? So to me, that comes back to the point.
of that shroud. It's like, why am I so interested? I say, what I'm interested in is that Christ consciousness. I'm interested in being around that and being a part of it and letting it be a part of me. And the ultimate is for it to flow from me. That's the ultimate, right? That I'm just in concert with the bigger picture. I'm working with spirit without see sort of
praying without ceasing or or another way to say this meditation and action. It's happening all the time. And I'm able and there's this is the name of the podcast, discern, discern what's me and not me. That kind of resonate. Yeah. And I think for myself, the big thing that resonates is, is there's actually a mystery around it. And that comes back to a lot around what we share as far as the unseen parts of ourselves, those things that we can't really
You know, it's not tangible. You can't feel it. But you know, and you have a sense like the love the Christ consciousness and this when you see this, you know, the shroud and the image of, know, perhaps Jesus, it's a mystery and it's intriguing. And it's, you know, it stimulates something within me that is that real? Is that not real? And so I think that's what really, you know, comes up for me is that ability to to discern for myself. OK, so what is that all about? And and
was that I mean, clearly there's something that either was there or someone put something there. I know we've talked about we were talking in the green room before we had our session is, is how you know, someone might have actually painted it on there. And that's a that's maybe another, another thing that may have happened, who knows, but it's the mystery. And it's really uncovering it for yourself. I think that's important to you because all of us have our own, you know, we have our own journeys, we've been we've been through different lifetimes in this lifetime. And so
my perspective and what I feel it might be is just for me and my personal, especially around the Christ consciousness or that love essence that I feel around that the person who was Jesus. So that's what I want to share is just the mystery and the intrigue around this object. you know, these kinds of things in a way, it's like trying to prove you had a dream. I love that line, you know, because
If I have an experience, you if I feel something, I'm going to be inclined to believe you if you share a similar feeling or experience, and then I can relate to you. You know, we have that shared experience, you might say. And I found this route, you know, really interesting over the years. And I'm, kind of keen to get the latest updates. And I've, I followed when they thought it was old and then they thought, no, it can't be that old because they found some pollens and
You know, then they found this and then there's more to the story of the fire. And so at the end of the day, which is a cliche, which I just used, that's not really the point for me, I guess, is I like what you guys are sharing, you know, or I relate to it and that there's some intrigue there. Wouldn't it be amazing if you could prove it that, you know, there was this guy, Jesus that, you know, but you know what?
If someone doesn't want to be convinced, they're not going to be convinced. So in a way, while I find it intriguing, fascinating and fun to look into, know, what's more important to me is to tune into that inner Christ consciousness within. And then some of the programs and, you know, techniques we've worked with over the years in the Wayshower's College and the Peace Community Church where we really make this Christianity a practical
way of life rather than just a theoretical way, you know, of moving and help people get tuning into, know, their own inner wisdom. So if it's inspiration for people to know that there's something more out there, or I have a feeling for this, this is what I hear you guys saying, I have a feeling for this, which attracts my attention. And then for me, it's important, as Tiger, you shared, you know, like, what
What's really in that for me? Why am I so interested in that? What am I really, you know, searching for? Well, you know, the I think the ultimate arbiter of what the need is, is going to be the individual. Because everyone is a unique soul, right? No, no one has have all the sum total of all the thoughts and feelings accumulated over time. That's what makes people unique.
right? This is not another one like you that other one like me. So the ultimate art arbiter of what is there is going to be the individual. So the the while I'm in that process, I need to make sure that I don't throw the baby out with a bath water. Right? I want to make sure that I don't just junk everything because one thing doesn't work for me. Or one thing doesn't seem to be true facts or something.
Yeah, exactly. Or something. Exactly. So there's, there's a, one inconsistency. Yeah, there's, there's a lot of truths, right? Everything has some truth, usually. But no one thing has all the truth. Another one of my favorite lines. Yeah. So ultimately, I'm the have to be the judge and jury on that. And so
while I'm searching and while I'm defining things for myself and going deeper and that's, that's the tremendous thing about going through the cycles, right? I mean, what was true for me back then may not be as important to me now. The seven year cycles of life. Yeah, it's like the stuff changes. it ultimately, I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water as I evolve and grow. Some people will grow into different faiths and religions, and some people will grow out of them.
And, the idea is to take the best with me, take the, take what I need, the positive things that I can be of service with, that I can enjoy myself, that I can have this, good clean body and good clean conversation with people and, have that love and respect with people. And also be aware that not everybody thinks that way. You know, I, I, I,
friend of ours, we were kind of talking about it, is, you know, they were saying, I'm going to get rid of all of it. No more concepts, no more religion, no more, you know, and the journeyman, we're doing the instructing classes.
Because it was not going happen. Yeah. Well, yeah, not only is not going to happen, but it becomes a waste of time because a person who was going to change the world kind of a thing. want to get rid of all religions and yeah. Because everyone's at a different state of awareness. I mean, honestly, if we didn't have different groups out there and albeit some of them are pretty dogmatic, I mean, we would have a pretty rough place to live in on planet earth. I mean, it would be pretty law of the stick.
kind of thing and everybody thinks, Oh, no, no, no, we'll have laws for that. No, they will bowl right through that like nothing, like nothing. If there isn't something larger that people feel they're a part of. That's right. So you have to have that. what, what did some people think that it's real or not real or, Oh, they're praying to the boogeyman. It doesn't exist, you know, and all this, we need something to be a part of.
It's important. So just on a material physical level, I need that. But the thing inside me is already a part of it. That's what I'm going back to that point that you were bringing up that from my, from my feeling nature, religion is born from my intellectual nature, science is born. And that need, especially at this time of year is to make sure that I do feel one with all.
Yeah, one more thing I want to say about that too, is I want to just bring up the Pope, because this can be his last Easter. We brought him up several I don't know what it was one of the first episodes we shared about him. And he was kind of at know, death's door at that moment. Yeah. But now this is really probably his last Easter on the planet. So I want to bring him up and it's cheers to the Pope. It's it's that's right. It's a tremendous time for renewal because after that will come some fresh thing again. And so it's
It's this ongoing thing. So anyway, I just wanted to touch base on that, that, that the part that you were saying, the mystery, you know, I need something to satisfy my head, my intellect, right? It's like, I got to have an understanding for that and ooh, you know, but in the end, the more I get control of the intellect, I get more control might be the wrong word in charge or imbalance is that I
I have a feeling I work to understand it and then I put it into motion. Right. And that's that a way to go about it. And, another way to say it is even more practical is the heart, the head and the hands. yeah. That's a lot. I never knew the hand. So that I need to have that flow. And if I don't have that flow, there's no way for me to renew. I can't.
Because I'm stuck in a little cycle, a little, you know, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth between my head and my heart, head and heart, or I'm just doing only my head. And then I do something with my act, right? You think act, think, act. So I need to have that balance. Otherwise I'm going to end up just stuck. And that brings me full circle back to, I'm going to get anchored. I'm going to get crunched and I'm way down, way down.
I'm praying or I'm hoping that I'll have some good news or I'm looking for the hot tip so that I can get rich and then I'll be all right. Right. mean, geez, you know, it's like, what my gosh, can you imagine just having that all the time that if this happens, then I'll be happy. You know, and so to me, that's what this renewal is all about. It's like, wait a minute. I can put that all aside. I can be happy right now.
And I can point my nose into something that's even more happy. Yeah. One of the things that occurs to me is that there's so much time that's spent, you know, arguing religion versus science versus religion, versus science. And to me, we need both. We need to be in balance with our feelings and our intellect. There's truth in both.
And often I think spiritual people think that it's supposed to be all like mystical and I was going to, but if without organization, I'm not going to get anywhere. Well, that's why we make it practical. And that's how to make a practical because there's a lot of a lot of spiritual practices out there by people who are all about the woo woo. Yeah. You might even say that, know, arguing about religion versus science and where this wears the truth is like a decoy.
Because now we get back to that word decoy. I'm all caught up in that instead of what is the business of me? You know, what am I feeling? How can I live that Christ consciousness and, you know, move easily and flow more securely, you know, through life? How do you prove a feeling? You can't prove it. You have something that you believe that you either believe it or you don't. So why am I trying to?
prove something if it's if it's true for me, I don't need to prove it. That's an outward vibration of competition. Right? If I believe that I get the chills from my helpers, I'm a part of something bigger, I go on, then there's no need to prove it. And you know, I believe it because I have an inkling and then I have experience. In other words, I have that inner wisdom that I'm tuning into. And then you might say, one way I would describe it is with
practice, I just trust it more and more and more because I can. that's the end to wrap this part up is that's the distinction between blind faith and belief, because belief has that connection to experience. There's something tangible that I'm connected to, as opposed to what they say is blind faith that I have no experience with.
I'm just going based on what somebody said. Right, right. So it becomes all in my head and not in my heart. What else, Teresa? That's it. I just want to bring in the Pope. Say cheers, Pope. Peace. Well, let's take another quick break.
Okay, so ready for the the what would I call it? Inspirational story of the day. it. the week. Love it. Okay, so this story is about animals, which will be totally different than Jesus and the shroud and Pope and everything else. we'll make it connect. Don't you worry. So this week there was a 5.2. Ready, Sometimes that's a good thing.
This week there was a 5.2 earthquake three miles south of Julian in Southern California, which is a little bit out from San Diego area. And that many felt all the way through the south, the southern part of California, all the way in the Tijuana, New Mexico and to want to Mexico and in San Diego, I recently saw a video and we'll have it down below in the link. You can check it out too. of a herd of three female elephants and two calves that were clearly startled by the quake when it happened.
They began creating what is actually known as an alert circle where the female adult quickly encircled the young back to back tusks and trunks outward and, and then surround the babies. And what's really important about elephants is that they can actually feel the energy in their feet. So this was a really profound moment that I saw and I was like, this is really inspiring with animals. So any insights or thoughts about that?
I'll go. You know, I did see the video. It's pretty cool to watch. It's a short little video, actually. It was a short little earthquake. But it was neat to see. I'm really going to go someplace with this story because the initial earthquake happened and they actually felt the earthquake. They started moving before the actual earthquake started happening. That was the first thing.
That's interesting. And most animals do that. Like they'll start to move out before something happens or a big storm happens. They kind of have that instinct. So that was the first thing I noticed. They started moving just before it happened. And once it happened, there was a little bit of this chaotic thing, right? Where they're just kind of running around and they're going, you know, doing the, you know, the whole thing.
Then very quickly, like you said, they got in this circle, you know, it looked like something the army does or something like that, you know, where their butts are all connected in this and their tusks are all out, you know, so it's like javelins all outside. And they stayed there for several minutes, even after the earthquake was over. So that instinct was there. And so it really was from
a nature perspective, cool to watch. There's just that part there, right? But the part that really got me or I started tuning into it was how much in our civilized society, if I'm not careful, I can get all wrapped up in my head with stuff and I miss the signs. I miss the natural innate.
true feelings, things that are connected to nature, connected to the bigger picture or spirit or whatever you want to call that. I'll cover that up because I'm in my head too much. And to me, that's the chaos. When something starts happening, there's just me running around with my head cut off and stuff like that. But if I let myself be in the moment, I let myself relax a little bit.
I'll snap back into my true feelings and back into the balance you were talking about that feel think act balance and then everything will start working itself out. So if I'm having a trauma situation, if I start relaxing and I just let myself go through rather than resist and pull back, if I actually just kind of let myself move through, then what happens is each time I do that, I get better and better.
And then I'm instinctual with all things. That's part of what really stood out to me. got more, but that really hit me. was just that connection with the source, just being connected and not being stuck in the chaos or my head.
Well, it's just amazing. The first thought that comes to me is, you know, the there's a consciousness there. And it's a stage of consciousness and my feelings, elephants are really very smart, you might say. So I don't know this to be a true biological fact from the point of view that I haven't studied elephants, I really don't, you know, know what the proof would be. But
there's proof right there. I mean, this this observed behavior. But in my feelings, I feel like there's a level of consciousness and there's a spiritual purpose to that existence. So yeah, it's not surprising. It's a stage, it could be a stage or it could be a different path of evolution. I don't know. I don't really care. It's not something that doesn't care meditate on too much. But it's
my feelings of being one with all just feels like there's truth there. And that that's part of that love of evolution of love concern. And, you know, the bigger picture vibration, another way to experience it. Well, so having grown up in the Southern California for the first 17 years of my life, I can definitely attest and say that you are 100 % on tiger with animals.
So my, the dogs, my dog used to freak out. And then also, and I wrote in my book, the soul quake survival guide, the very first paragraph says how literally my mom would be like, you know, do you notice the birds have stopped chirping? Like everything would come to a still before it started shaking. So to me, it's really about that. And like you're saying that innate ability to tune into what's going on.
energetically and also from the inner side of the earth, which goes back to for myself to my core. So when I'm tuned into how am I feeling about this? Or, you know, that's kind of also goes to that is, you know, that feeling like, this a hell's yes for me a hell's no what the hell's going on? Well, you might say to like, where did that inner wisdom come from for the elephant? Because, you know, they don't have a highly developed intellect, like, like humans.
Seem to well, no, but it did say that they feel from their feet. So that's I was gonna go They're on the land. They're on the land and their feelings is really where their direction comes from feeling You know a bigger picture feeling just occurred to me as you were sharing. Yeah, I mean, you know that is this again You know, there's the biology of it and the DNA of it we could talk about and then you know the wisdom in the DNA and all that kind of stuff, but
Even that eventually, if you want to keep breaking it down, you start, where did that come from? So it's, it's this big, you know, there's no end to it. Right. So that brings me back to say, okay, well, what's in it for me? Why am I, why am I, why, why are we attracted to this? Which is great, great fun story. And that feet thing to me is super symbolic. That's super symbolic. I need to have my feet on the ground.
I can't just be in my head up in the air all the time. I need to have my feet on the ground. I need to be involved. Otherwise, I'm not going to do what I've come to do. I'll waste a lot of time. And they say, you know, in the universe, there is no time, right? Like time when you get past planet Earth, time starts operating very different. You know, there's even the talk about the, you know, the, the clocks that are stood up really, really high, like the Big Ben and
England and other high towers that have clocks in them. yeah, they have when they were manual, I guess have digital now. But when they were manual, they have to go in there and adjust them. Because even the time works differently at a certain atmosphere difference as you get moving. So why am I bringing that up? I'm bringing it up because spiritually, there is no time, right? Just beginning and end it, there is no such thing. Yes. And
But here on planet Earth, we understand and measure based on time, right? I mean, that's, this is how you does, you know, you, and you only have so much, you know, the body doesn't last forever. We think of it very linearly, linearly. That's right. So linear thing. the, whilst there is no time, the soul doesn't want to waste time. And so if I'm not involved, if I don't have my feet on the ground, I'm not working with the community.
that I need to be working with, I'm going to waste precious opportunities. I'm going to waste precious time. So the need to be able to be with my team, but also expand out to go talk to other people that I think for everyone that is interested in something spiritual, something more. And when I say spiritual, I'm just referring to the big picture of it, like the inner. Why am I here? Yeah. What's life all about?
Yeah, and in the outer being, you know, the material things. But if people who are interested in the inner personal growth, spiritual understanding, these type of things, people are a need. It's not a want. It's a need I have to work with people. So as you've said so well, I've got to find my tribe, you know, I'm willing to work with anyone.
to help me accomplish my purpose, but I'm also looking for someone's people who want what I have, people who I can grow from. So it starts becoming much more precious. My, my time here and my time working with people that becomes a need like air. If I don't have it, I'll actually diminish. I'll actually withdraw.
And that's really unhealthy for a spiritual person who's trying to grow spiritually. What I hear you saying it's important to have our feet on the ground. You bet. Tuned into our pivot. And what do you think? Reach for the stars. Reach for the stars. So good. Yeah, well, I was just gonna ask. there's a lot of folks that, know, are really like into the games and hiding away and not involved and
Is that a wave of energy that people are moving through or what are your feelings on that? Teresa? would say yes. I mean, there's we come in to do certain things as, as groups and as you know, like you're saying tribe. And so yeah, definitely the, that it's a level of consciousness. I agree completely. I this time, I mean, we could put a full circle back to our stories again. So this is a time of year where there's that renewal is happening. I'm, I'm tagging that word to it.
that renewal is present. It's in the environment, right? There's different groups and face, puttishing that out, right? So it's just in the air. So if I'm weak in that area, if I'm afraid to renew myself, or I have so much baggage, so much thoughts, so much concepts and ideas that work against me, this is going to be a time of pressure.
because I'm not willing to let that go. So here's the my message to that and from and I'm saying this out loud for myself to let it go for a little while. Let it all go for a little while. Just hold on to the basics of love, the good kind loving sharing part. Just hold on to that for a little bit and let everything go. And then guess what? It'll be there if you want to pick it back up.
You know, all my troubles will be there. Right. So if I let it go and tune back into that good, kind, loving sharing part, I'll have a basis to build again, just like your point about cleansing and taking care of your fasting or whatever, whatever it works for someone. If I come back to that place of I'm neutral again, right. I'm renewed again. And the, guess the adding to that here and we'd wrap it up, but
You know, they say that it's not so much that the body needs the rest, as it is the soul that needs the renewal when we go to sleep. Right? Because my body never shuts off. I'm not like C3PO and you need to turn me off. You know, and then you turn me back on. Like my heart is always beating. There's circulation still happening. The repairs are happening, right? All that is happening. So that's a constant. So there's something more going on. And how is it that
Some people don't need as much rest and they're just go, go, go, go. And some people are like, yeah. So to me, it's about that renewal. And this is a high time for that. And if you're feeling pressure, if I feel pressure, now's the time to tune back into that bigger picture, the good kind, loving, sharing part of me and start there again and let everything else set it aside, put on the mental shelf for the moment and then deal with it one at a time.
you can. You might say that's what the ritual of Easter is all about. You could say that. Well that was a fun Easter filled episode. We hope that you guys enjoyed it. Thank you for letting us share. Yeah. See you next week.
