Showcasing the enthusiasm you have for your individual growth and what you're here to experience is what we're going to chat about today. Sounds good. So I just returned from a weekend class called Buffer Zone Training, which is all about working with our energy around us, our aura, and setting up energy so that way things don't come in close to me. And I had some realizations and some insights from this weekend that I thought would be a really good time to share, being that
There's a lot going on energetically at the moment, which throw is is, but where did you get this training? At the Wayshowers College. Go figure. I go once a once a year or maybe a couple times a year, depending upon what's offered. But it yeah, so that's where I had the training at the Wayshowers College and it was an amazing experience. Sounds good. So the first thing I want to really emphasize about
our individual journeys is that word individual because as the mid the people that gather for this weekend, we had several from Canada, from New Zealand, we had a lot of Americans. We had an American Chinese woman that was just amazing, that gave some insights about, you know, where she's come from in the past. And I realized how no matter where we're at on the planet and who we are and our our life experiences,
We're all here to experience growth on different levels. How does that work for you, Tom? So true. So true. Okay, Tom, with your wisdom of of and of the ages that you've been here on the planet in this journey, because you've been here many times, what is your take on individuality and how people come together in situations like what I experienced this weekend? Well, I know what you're referring to is that
when it comes to spiritual growth, as it's really great to see people from all different backgrounds and walks of life, you might say, that get together because they want to explore that there's something more to life and they they're beginning to, you know, uncover more of their spiritual nature and are looking to, you know, improve their situation.
accomplish their spiritual purpose and mission. And it sounds, it can sound kind of very fairy, but in fact, you might say that a lot of the people have been through lots and they got to that point in life where they say, you know, there's something more and I want to discover it. And of course, that something more is actually within ourselves. And what's great about
The Way Shores College is it provides a place for people to get their own answers, you know, working with tools and techniques and beginning to, you know, get their own insights. What's the word sincere mean to you, Tom? damn, was that what it means to you? Sincere is when I want something, you know, with earnest is one way I would put it, that I'm truly interested in.
what I'm saying or what I'm involved with. And I've noticed with folks who are really sincere about spiritual growth, rather than saying looking for an escape or, you know, something to entertain them, you know, these ideas entertain them in a way, there's a lot of opportunity available and to really, you know, we say grow by the inch, it's a cinch, you know, by the yard it's hard. But
Spiritual growth is one of those things where you kind of just peel the layers or you, you know, take one step at a time. But every step, every sort of for me, aha moment is a friend of mine used to always refer to them as is as those answers come or I become I get it, you know, the the picture becomes clearer for me as a visionary, they're it's very fulfilling.
I can't relate to that. my gosh, that's crazy, right? That's weird. No, holy crap. Excuse me. Wow, that was that was serious. as I was gonna dive into sincerity, 'cause what I noticed this weekend and I notice every time 'cause, you know, for years I've been going through different classes with people and trainings with people and things like that. But
There's something that hits me these days because of where I'm at energetically and how much I have expressed my own my own sincerity about you know w who I am and what I'm here to experience as a soul. That when I come together with people of all walks of life and and really feel into how sincere they are, because you know what? They showed up. So I think that's a key for you listeners out there is no matter where you're at in your journey.
You've shown up for this moment in time. And if you're listening to this podcast, you've shown up to express and perhaps grow at maybe a bit faster rate than others because you're getting more awareness, awareness of who you are as a being and and how to work with you know, your spiritual guidance and your energy and and each awareness builds upon each other. And to me, that's a very sincere way to move forth from your heart.
Yeah, and there's a lot of emphasis in our society, you know, for accomplishment and physical and material. And fair enough. You know, we live in a three-dimensional world. and on the other hand, though, if I balance that with what is going on spiritually as my awareness grows. And I guess for me, what is awareness? To be sincere about it, is it's just me realizing
there's a better way. You know, the instead of my old negative thoughts or thought patterns that I might have that work against me or limit me, you know, limit my experience of fulfillment here, you know, I become more aware of what's what's truly me and and where my where the wisdom that it does exist that that I have I'm able to tap into it. And also the the wisdom and help of my spiritual guidance.
Yeah. And so another way I want a little avenue I want to go down now is regarding not knowing what other people are going through in their lives until you maybe, you know, have an insight or they share something like in this weekend that several people got up front and and regrouped things they were going through. And I was like, Holy cow, I didn't know they were going through that, but they showed up with, you know, the in their essence of where they're at right now, but there was no
indication of things they had going on back home. And I I really took that to heart in the sense that, you know, as I walk through my days and I'm at work and there's all kinds of people that come in, you know, in our in our in our energy of business. So they're there to do business. But I don't know what they've got going on at home. And so for people that come in to a situation where we're all there to learn and grow and to expand our spiritual part, I was just really
Honored about you know how they showed up for themselves, even though they have got some really intense or some heartbreaking things going on at home. you know challenges, extreme challenges, yeah. And and again, that's really back to you know, for myself, not judging others, because I don't know where what anyone's moving through. And I and they don't know what I'm moving through. So I really took that to heart.
And that I thought that would, you know, is a good thing to kind of share about Tom. Yeah, there's an old Indian quote I'm paraphrasing that you know, never judge someone unless you've walked a mile in their moccasins. Yeah, or shoes. Yeah. Yeah, or shoes. So well, I really relate to that. And I mean, I know what you're referring to is that there's there's people that you share with
on you have that common denominator of interested in your spiritual growth awareness, however we want to label that, you know, and what I know what that means to me is well, my life is smoother. I achieve more of what I would like to achieve. I have more fulfillment when I do achieve, or I'm more I'm here to accomplish what I came to accomplish spiritually, because it you know
Especially as you get older, like you realize this is all temporary. This goes fast and and it can seem long in the midst of it all. But what's great about getting together for those you know, seminars and and camps and courses and coming back to regroup with like minded people is that boy, no matter what they look like, where they're from, what ideology they have or they, you know, grew up under, they we all have these areas that we can, you know, learn and grow.
And really what I hear you saying is it's like it's just less judgment and more respect for what the soul is going through. That's the feeling I have for sure. Yeah. And what I would call that is coming back to the well. So oftentimes as we move through our journeys and and and work out in the muggle world or have, you know, people we're taking care of, you know, elderly parents or children or whatever.
We oftentimes miss that ability to come and fill up our cup. And that's what I did this weekend. And that's something that we offer with the Reawaken Membership each month is it's an opportunity to not only fellowship with your guidance throughout the whole month, but to come together with us in a live regrouping and you know, and express, you know, what's going on and come together with like minded people and and moving to the well and re f and filling up your cup. Yeah, and as you know, I often find that when
I'm relating my experiences and my aha moments, the insights I got through the month based on the themes that we work with. And you know, as I grow in my awareness, you know, there's something usually that other people will share. And I go, wow, that's really fills in my picture, or the penny drops, so to speak, that like that's what we're talking about. That's a habit that I have that I'm I'm going to release and something I want to change. Because you know, we're
As spiritual beings we can heal ourselves. And you know, there's Jesus apparently said something to the effect of physician, you know, they people wanted healing. Heal thyself, you know. And did he really say that? Probably. I always Or did someone write that crap in later. Well, that's up to you to feel into and let me feel into that. So I've always wondered what does that mean? Because you know, if you break your arm, you gotta get it fixed and
So on and so forth. But you know, I think there's a lot of truth to that. You know, what we're finding out about that inner awareness, that inner healing, you know, it physical maladies and illnesses really stem from my state of consciousness. And and all of us experience, you know, times when we're not feeling that well or we're sick or we have those, you know, health challenges. That seems to be normal.
But because we're like it's the concepts we have we're kind of not really aware of. We're it's in our subconscious. And that what you're talking about definitely is a deepening of understanding what you're going through because there were some people in the class that are that are really having physical maladies right now or you know, inabilities to walk or whatever, there's different things and they recognized one did that it was it's the needs chakra.
So there's some things in her that she's not getting her needs met. And so it's openings like that and awarenesses, I think that you're talking about with, you know, heal thyself. So the more we discover and the more we dive into these areas of who we are as a soul and how they're relating to our physical part, it can bring forth great, great healings. Yes. Yes. So one thing I want to talk about too is I wanna talk about
being how the subtleness of of moving forward as a soul with our experiences and our growth. And that's one thing I recognize this weekend. So when I went there, you know, we we have a keyword and we set a goal, kind of like we do with our regroupings. We always do that every month. And that's a good suggestion, even for whatever you're doing in life is, you know, working with your guidance. Give me a keyword for what's gonna go, for what I'm gonna experience and what's a goal that I want to get out of it. And I I w really went in this weekend with
'Cause I'm in a really good place energetically. I'm in a good place in life. I you know, I know there's a lot of shifts and changes coming, but overall I feel I feel pretty good. And so I really it was just about simplifying things for myself. And as I went through the weekend, I recognized that oftentimes I've I've in the past I've gone to events and go, I my gosh, when I get home, I I just better be changed and and you know, and things had better shift and you know, like all these
really big, over-the-top, you know, grandiose goals that I want to set spiritually, where I realize it's not about that. It's really about the moments that of accessing the subtle energies, the subtle shifts that are more profound for myself and I think more profound for other people too, when we don't put so much, and I say we as general generalized, even though I should say I, when I don't put a big emphasis on the outcome
And recognize how subtle and and how subtle our spiritual, you know, spirituality can be when we're moving forward. Does that make sense, Tom? Yes. And how do you work with that subtly? You know, sometimes I've gone to programs or been involved in some techniques and I go, wow, that was really a big shift. I feel very, you know, different. I feel like a bright light. I my sensitivity seems to have opened up and
working with that natural intuition or ESP that we have. And I just know that I know. And then other times it's more subtle. And as time goes on, you know, after spending decades, you know, being involved in you might say a way of life is for me to regroup myself spiritually. And you know, I've worked with self discovery through these tools and techniques that we offer and insights and so forth that
You know, that it's it's really helped me, but it's something that I've had to maintain throughout my life. You know, I'm at a different stage now and I'm I'm aware of the thoughts, the limiting thoughts that come in at this stage of life versus other stages of life. Or and I I find as people get older, you know, things catch up with them. They're you know, what I can get away with when my body's younger, you know, talking about that healing, if I
carry those concepts into my old age, like it starts to become bang. It's more prevalent. And those those bad habits, those thought patterns I haven't regrouped or those experiences I haven't regrouped, you know, really show up. You know, there's no escape from them. so well it's also a realization, right? A realization that we're closer to the end than when we were even 10 or 20 years ago.
Yeah, whether you like it or not, you notice your body ages and things change and it's not you know, there's a lot of baby boomers out there. And that's one of the things that I'm noticing. Maybe this is something that's worthwhile to you know, they get out and about. And they're I think in contrast to previous generations, which stayed more close to home as they aged, these folks are out and about and independent and want to maintain that independence. But, you know
Over a few years, people just age a lot, you know, once they get to certain age groups. And it's nothing you you do, you know, you don't try to age. It's just you're just there and then the body seems to just change around you or you're around your loved ones. I know many of us see it more in outer, like if I look at celebrities that I knew for years and you go,
Wow, look at them now. Holy smokes, you know. Then you look at the miracle me too. Yeah, the exactly. Hashtag me too. Yeah, hashtag me too, you know. So a different me too, though. Yeah. Or as different waves of, you know, I'm I like music and as you know, I'm a musician. well, I'm a drummer. I don't know people will make fun of that. Yeah. And you know, I have my heroes. I have my heroes that you know, we're musicians and it's
Amazing to, you know, every year more and more pass on. The guys I looked up to, the gals I looked up to when I was a young person, you know, they're moving out after a lifetime of accomplishment kind of a thing. So yeah, we're all gonna come and go, and that's all part of it. And but staying enthusiastic and through it and realizing that the moments were here.
we can accomplish so much for our the gr our soul's growth by just taking opportunity, being of service, showing up for yourself. And then sometimes if you're inspired to, like I am, inspired to, you know, to take additional classes, to meet up with like minded people once a month, like in our regroupings, these things really feed the soul and really s you know, access that success that we all want to well some of spiritual success. Spiritual success. Absolutely. That we are, you know
Definitely talking about on this podcast for sure. And you know, one other aspect I wanna share before we end this is oftentimes as we move through our life, we don't give ourselves enough credit for what we've been through. The gratitude, the awareness. You know, it's like okay, well just the next thing and the next thing. And so there was a beautiful soul that was there this weekend who shared with me that she quit smoking after sixty two years. Wow.
Right. And I said, that's a BFD, a big eff and deal. And she looked at me and 'cause she's, you know, working on the next part of what's going on, but I was like, that is such a big deal and that anything that we shift and change in our lives as we move through it affects everything. So, you know, quitting smoking, I quit drinking several years ago, you know, whatever it is for for each person, it amplifies your spiritual part, that, you know, mind, body, spirit.
And not smoking helps your helps your spirit apart, helps your mind. So does not drinking. And so there's so many things that we do as as you know, people in this realm, but we oftentimes don't give ourselves enough credit for what we've been through and where we're at. Have you noticed that, Tom? Yeah, I think there's always, you know, new challenges, new opportunities. And one of my observations is that as people get older and retire.
because as I get closer and closer to those sorts of ages, you know, there's you're damn close almost a concept that, okay, I've made it. Now I don't have to think about anything. I don't have to experience that pressure anymore. but even in and in some ways we have mastered a lot of life, like in in terms of our spiritual purpose that we've many of us
you start to achieve you have achieved it. You've been through whatever lessons you came to learn and you've got your perspective has, you know, changed. But as you were sharing, I guess what I'm gonna get back to is the subtleties that you're beginning to what I relate to what you're saying and what you're sharing is the subtleties of my one sensitivity. You know, when thoughts or old habits of my thinking move in or the negative thoughts or limiting thoughts.
And they don't have to be big deals, but like just notice, I'm kind of judging that person. I can feel that. You know, who am I really judging or what's why am I not just enjoying the positive part of them, you know, kind of a thing. So yeah, but I guess we come back to spiritual growth by the inch of the cinch. We're all gonna learn and grow. We're we're all gonna make it eventually. It's just choosing you know, how how do I wanna move through this? Do I wanna move through it smoother?
And with more energy and more momentum, more ups than downs. Then, you know, for me, I'm at that stage of life where the outer answers, you know, I'll take somebody's opinion into consideration if it resonates with me. But it's more what do I truly feel in my true feelings? That part of me that's the I love to say this, the good, love, loving, kind, sharing part of me, that part of me that's relaxed. And those are
my true feelings, you know. So awareness is a wonderful thing. It's nothing to be afraid of. It actually helps me feel more in my thrust of being happy and free, experiencing my purpose within that thrust of that feeling, you know, more often. He's got a feeling. You got a feeling, Tom. And I guess what's your fall through of my heart's desires. That's my spiritual thrust. Yeah. Always doing it.
Even if I don't even if I even if I'm not aware that I'm doing it, I'm doing it. Like I think that's the thing too is, you know, taking off the pressure of well, I'm not really doing my purpose or I'm not, blah, blah, blah. It's like, yeah, yeah, I am. Yeah, we are. Yeah, there's opportunity everywhere. And you know, when it's time to move on from different opportunities, it feels like it and opportunity shows up and doors open and and but it's a balancing act, you know, from my feelings.
And my intellect. And then, you know, for me, discovering well, what's a concept I have, what's my ideology that's holding me back versus what are my true feelings. Yeah, I think that's a lot of where I I recognize this weekend too, is most of what I experience I felt. I wasn't thinking about it. I wasn't like contemplating what does this mean? It's like I felt it. And then when I feel almost instantly, like I was sharing with you this morning. Absolutely. Absolutely. And then once I felt it.
Then I I get insights from my spirit team. I get, you know, I get a picture or I get a words or I get a feeling or I get a knowing and it's like instantly. And so coming back to recognizing the importance of going to places where you can be yourself and just and and other like minded people is so important. And be able to share your feelings and share your without judging those. Yeah.
Yeah, because you know, like if you go I I can't go to work and share these feelings with anybody there because they don't A, they have nothing to r to to relate it to. And you and I were talking about that earlier, how yeah there has to be a relation. You have had to have had to experience something in order to understand exactly what's going on. Yeah, or relate to it somewhat, yeah. Yeah. Especially I would say especially with the spiritual part because I again I can't tell people I I feel this, right? I've I saw that and they're like, what? They have no
There's no reference point to it. Yeah, when I I relate to something because I've experienced it or I've started that I've been getting that insight. I've been getting the download from my guidance or little messages or little hints. And you know, when I'm relaxed, something occurs to me and then somebody else shares, I go, I know I've been picking up that same thing. Yeah, we do that a lot. That's better way. Mm-hmm. Excuse me, that's a better way to put it. Or that helps fill in the picture as I said earlier. Yeah. Better have it a little something
What's going on, Theresa? Something is coming, something you're not relating to there, Tomas. What is it? Do tell. I'm relating to it. You're relating to it. Well, I guess what we're we're at that point where we're releasing these concepts and the energy that can hold on to those concepts. And so something around us isn't relating to these new
levels of insight that we're getting of how our life can be easier and smoother and accomplish with enthusiasm and verve and and feel alive and have that fulfillment. And you know, in our society it's not cool. It's as y you know, to be too enthusiastic. I can't say that that's true for everybody. I I don't mean to say that's true for everybody, but there is
You know, there's a lot of prestige and this and that and they're not treating me fairly in the suffering and so forth. But it doesn't really help me get anywhere. You know, I mean it's good to identify when my rights begin and end, but you know, the one thing that you were sharing about, w that you you were mentioning earlier to me that I it seems like we need to touch on a little bit is just realizing that everybody's doing the best they can.
And that, you know, whilst I might see individuals like, geez, they seem to just keep they won't let go of this old habit. maybe they've gotten that far and that's all they can go. Yeah. And yeah. That's pretty that could be as easy as that. If knew where that energy was at a couple lifetimes ago, you'd be amazed at how far they've come. That's exactly it. I say that, you know, it's kind of exaggerating.
One other experience I wanted to share was that we're talking about our sensitivity earlier, like you were sharing about how, you know, the insights are just there. And as as I learn to trust my feelings and trust my sensitivity, to me, that's a big part of these the tools and techniques and the programs that we offer. Is it it it's it's n having intuition or ESP is not a theory. It's like it's actually something I learned to trust, and then it turns out like
I am so right so often, or boy, when I listen to my guidance, I mean it's amazing what they say. I we have these kinds of experiences. And so I an old high school friend contacted me recently and on Facebook, and it was interesting because they popped up a couple of times, and I can't say that it was one of my best friends. I didn't hang out with that person a lot. I there was a period of time, and
You know, it was interesting as at this stage of life, after fifty years or something, we like we've reconnected. And one of the interesting things that I wanted to share about was this like what I most remember about this person is the kindness that they showed me when I was a new student at a at a high school, you know, in the middle of high school. I had to move to another high school and I think I had broken my leg and
playing hockey and had a little crack in my, you know, tibia or something. And I've never forgotten that, you know, and so at this end of the curve, that kindness that, you know, we show to others is the standout, you know, and we and and this was a very nice person. And I've I enjoyed you know, their friendship and acquaintance ship and the people we had mutual friends and that kind of thing. So
But I had this insight. I was like, what? Why is this person connecting with me all these years later? And it hit me. I've I knew them in a past life, in a previous life, and I helped them out. And it was just this flash of insight. And you know, so there's from a spiritual perspective. I mean, I'm not that's not something I'm gonna share with everybody at work.
Because they don't know what the hell I'm talking about. But in the appropriate place, I go, you know, I just I trust my sensitivity. There's some energy there, and I'm reconnecting and in the bigger picture of that soul's growth, like it all fits. The main emphasis I'm making here is that I trust that insight, you know, as as opposed to I could even feel my old habits of like, well, I don't know, maybe you know.
like talking myself myself out of my impression. So something you obviously were here to experience for your soul's growth. Yeah. That reconnection and that awareness of that that soul from a previous lifetime that has now connected and what's that about? Yeah. And it's just, you know, it's just it's just fun. It's just nice. It's just healing. It feels good to know and because I our paths are different.
We're in different places, having different experiences. And it's just nice to say hi, you know, kind of thing from a from the soul's perspective. Well, I think that's a good place to to end this, Tom, is the enthusiasm we have for living life, reconnecting with people, experiencing weekend retreats with like minded people, and however you find your growth out there for your spiritual part, we applaud you, right? Yeah.
Give gratitude for it because everyone does it different ways. Help us all recognize those coincidences are too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence. Say that six times, three times, two times. Thank you so much for listening into another episode of Enthusiastically Spiritual. We hope that you gain some insights for yourself on where you are at in your journey and ways that you can
Amplify, experience, and and expand what you're here to do next and the next little leap or little step. Right, Tom? Sounds good. All right. So until next week we will say that life is too short to not be enthusiastic about your unique journey.
