Here in our podcast for today is a very special entrepreneur, Andrew Kroeze. Andrew is literally the definition of “going 180” and just transforming your fears to action. He established his multimillion dollar coaching business, the Tribe of Buyers, where they help other coaches network and grow and scale their profits. And by the way… he’s just 24 years old.
Now for that 180 turnaround… Andrew was actually a depressed young teenager for over six years after a failed relationship. He tried to get himself up by going to college, but only managed to make it worse; he became a heavy drinker and gained all the pounds just by trying to forget. It was almost a spiral he couldn’t get out of.
But one day, he heard the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley. The final lines struck a chord: “I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.” When he read this, he realised that his biggest problem wasn’t his ex or his drinking buddies at his frat. He was the one stopping himself from glory.
So what he did was, he went back to his house, grabbed an old calendar from the pizza place across the street, and just set-up a 90-day regimen: no drinking and he needed to lose weight. He started working out 5 times a week and even found himself working out every 8pm just so he can skip the drinking! This brother burned 21 pounds in two months and stopped drinking. Just amazing.
He started his business by selling online ad services to his local chiropractors, restaurants, and other businesses. He eventually felt burnt out, and then looked for something else. He thought, “I love it when shit hits the fan,”. That’s his inspiration. “I wanted to die and be reborn over and over and over. Because I know that's how I grow the most.”
He eventually enrolled himself in more online courses around marketing, leadership, and business management. However, he eventually established a million dollar coaching business but eventually sold it. He didn’t feel like this was his “complete” state and wanted to find out what really mattered.
So he entered an ashram and learned breathing methods and just really got connected with himself. He learned what he wanted to do.
From his wealth gathering phase, he connected to his spiritual phase, and eventually, started Masters of Fate where he wanted to help other young men gain control of their momentum and be bigger than life. He’s still making the big bucks, but this time, he is connected with the people who he was before, turning them to who they should be.
