Dr. Regan Stiegmann is a former U.S. Air Force flight surgeon, lifestyle medicine expert, and lifelong athlete whose passion for performance began on the soccer field. As a young athlete, she was a soccer standout in the Olympic Development Program and earned multiple college scholarship offers for both athletics and academics. After enduring multiple ACL injuries that altered the trajectory of her competitive soccer career, Dr. Stiegmann redirected her drive and discipline toward medicine, eventually serving as a flight surgeon in the Air Force. That experience sparked her passion for optimizing human performance through lifestyle and sports medicine, helping athletes, pilots, and military personnel maximize performance through nutrition, recovery, and healthy lifestyle strategies. Today, Dr. Stiegmann is an associate professor of preventive and lifestyle medicine at Rocky Vista University in Colorado and co-author of the book “Staying in the Game,” written with Dr. Sharon McDowell-Larsen, where the two combine personal experience and medical expertise to share insights on sustaining high performance throughout life.
