Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to season four of Dose of Delusion. It is me, your host, yours truly Jay, and I have missed my beautiful, lovely, fantastic, seems to be very busy co-host, AJ the Surfox. AJ, how are you? Tell us everything.
SPEAKER_00So fucking busy. Let's just go ahead and start off with a fucking bang.

SPEAKER_00No. Welcome to 2026. How about that? Okay. And season four. Hello, how do you do? I know. Yeah, I know. That's crazy. I've enjoyed our break. I've been really, really just caught up with networking and just like normal work-life stuff. But it's it's been really, really good. It's been a great 19 days of 2026. And, you know, just trucking along with it. I think it's going to be a fantastic year. Everything's been going good. But uh yeah, it's it was a great end to 2025. And um, welcome to 2026 happily, um, with with quite a bit going on. But what about you? What have you been up to? How was your new year and all of that fun stuff?
Resolutions Versus Intentions In 2026
SPEAKER_01Oh my God, you know what? It has been, I've been really enjoying for the most part uh this a lot of downtime, a lot of relaxing relaxation, resting the body, resting the mind. Um, I mean, I had a lot of time off of work. I think I've been off of work since the 22nd or so. I was off for about two and a half weeks, went back to the office for about a week and a half, then we just finished up another four-day weekend for this holiday. And I have done so much. Listener, there is no way we are getting everything into even the first two episodes because of all the little things that I've been doing here and there. And I'm sure that AJ has been just experiencing this holiday and turn of the year and everything with all of our events and our friends and our families. There's so much that we have, not to mention the TV shows and the reality and the well, the reality shows and the game shows and everything else that we've been getting into. It is a lot, but I'm here for it.
SPEAKER_00Quite a bit. Quite, quite a bit. Well, you know, I think that um, you know, I first off, I mean, I really want to start this with um, are there any 2026 resolutions for you and in like season four coming on? And like, what about Jay? What's going on in Jay's season, whatever?
SPEAKER_01You know, okay, so I do have some resolutions and uh a few. Of course, I have like my professional ones, my personal ones, my fitness ones, and whatnot. But ultimately, I have one that has just like been resonating with me. And it's one of my one of my dear friends, you know, she she posts a lot on social media and she's really into like health and fitness and what's in your food and whatnot, but mainly because she has it overcame a lot of like medical obstacles that nobody should be experiencing, let alone anybody at our age, right? And she had posted something like near the end of the year where she was getting ready to, she just finished a trip or was going on a trip and she was at the gym and she's like, To move your body is a privilege. And I was like, you know, that's right. I mean, we could all fall into the fitness resolutions, but at the end of the day, I just want to move my body more, whether it just be bouncing out of bed on time, stretching, even if I don't make it to the gym, you know, taking the stairs, maybe maybe walking home instead of getting a lift home. It's only a couple of miles, just move my body every day, no matter what. And I think that's just gonna help me amongst all different aspects of current life.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. And you know, with that, um, how many days this month so far have you done your morning yoga and walking from work?
SPEAKER_01First of all, the first step is just making a plan, okay? And the second step is mind your business. No, actually, I've been pretty good. I've been pretty good. No, I um I find myself a little group fitness center or the Orange Theory Fitness. I love how I said it. Like it's like not a big chain. Um, I found some group fitness so I can get back into the cult, you know, cult-like fitness. I've been just enjoying longer walks with my dogs. This cold weather, like the that really bad weather that's normally hit us over here on the East Coast, like it hit New York, it hit everywhere else, it skipped us. So we have not had like really drastic cold weather up here. So I've been able to do longer walks and things and stuff outside. It's been pretty nice. That's awesome. Yeah. What if what what what was your what's your 2026 intention?
SPEAKER_00So I no, I love that word so much better than resolutions. Um, my intention for 2026 has just been, you know, more mindful of um people. Um, you know, I took 2025 as a very big um me, me, me, me, me. Um, and you know, now I want to volunteer and um, you know, uh an opportunity came up for, you know, doing various like drives. So, you know, I coordinated a food drive and I coordinated a jacket drive. Um, I'm at the tail end of of um 2025 and and kind of completed it um and and had the items picked up um this year. So that was um, you know, check check with that. So that was, you know, really good. Um and then I also just kind of want to be a little bit more mindful with, of course, like health and stuff, just like you know, you always do that at the beginning of the year. I um I haven't started my yoga, um, but I I do intend fully on on getting back into that because I used to do it, you know, 10 or so years ago. Um and uh, you know, so I definitely want to to redo that. Um and just kind of also like um like being like nice, you know, because I I used to I tend to not be so. Right, exactly. So, you know, nice never, but um, but you know, I I think I think that that's something that that I I just I need to put out in the the universe. So I'm I'm working on that.
Jay’s Viral Lyft Ordeal
SPEAKER_01I I I love that and I think I I know I I hate to fall into the New Year's resolution, which is why I did change it to intention. I do think it's a little bit of a better, I mean I didn't change it, but I heard it somewhere, and I think it has a little bit of a better connotation and might resonate better with us internally and then hopefully externally as well. But let's let's let's bring it back. What did you do for Christmas? Anything exciting? Did you go home or for the holidays over?
SPEAKER_00No, I didn't do anything. I actually stayed local. Um, I uh started this um um at this new company with a property that I've been at since the summer in June. So since I was like the newbie, I let the others get first dibs. So I had to work Christmas Eve and I had to work New Year's Eve. So um, but I did take the days after the holidays off. So I did have an extended weekend, so but I just stayed local um for the holidays. I just spent time with um um my friends, Jordan Chris with the twins, and um kind of did that like little thing and and just kind of like you know, just relaxed and and veg out at home, you know what I mean? So that was really nice um for my Christmas. Um, I think you spent time with your family, didn't you?
SPEAKER_01You know, I I am getting my dates confused and blurred, and as I asked you the question, I was like, how rude of me. We've talked about this, but we had we had a long break, AJ. I'm sorry. I could not log into this app.
SPEAKER_00I know. I was like, where the hell is my link? He hasn't sent it to me yet.
SPEAKER_01Um, no, I I what do you call it? I went home before the holidays. I did the middle of the month. Okay, that's my third year in a row doing it, and I think I'm gonna continue that process. Um, and I ended up staying here for Christmas after New Year's, but I did have a few little eventful things, and of course, um, okay, AJ and listener, you might be getting sick of it. And I know I already where am I from? I know, and I know I already said I was gonna like divorce lift and break up with Lyft, but I finally had the ultimate wild lift experience where I have officially broken up with Lyft, and um, I had to take my dilemma to the court of public opinion. I had to post my experience on TikTok, it went crazy viral, and uh I made a decision uh based on that, and that was pre-Christmas, and that's just the tip of the iceberg of everything that I've gotten into. And I mean, I want to tell you everything. We'll go on. Okay, so what should I start with first?
SPEAKER_00I mean, okay, well, I mean, okay, so let's start with like what was what was the issue? Anything that made sense.
SPEAKER_01So I know that we talked about this in the past. I'm pretty sure it might have been when we took a little hiatus for both of our mental breaks. Um, but did I uh at one point, it might have been during our very short, iffy, rocky season two. Do you remember when I did dinner with strangers? I don't know if we talked about that. Okay, so for those of you who don't know, in a lot of the big cities uh throughout the country, there is this company organization called Time Left. And Time Left uh hosts these dinner with strangers events, and they'll pop up on the social medias if you're in those areas. And what you do is you sign up, you put some demographic information in, you answer a few questions of your interests and hobbies and then you know and whatnot. And then you can select the uh reservation at dinner time. You do have to pay a small fee associated with it. And what it does is based on your interests and hobbies, it uh matches you with five other people, and then you go to a dinner reservation. Now it's at a public restaurant, it's in a public setting, it's not at somebody's house with the strangers, right? And um, you go and they just make a reservation. But the thing is, you don't know anything about these people until like the I think the morning of it to it says, oh, hey, you're gonna go to dinner with five other people. Here's the restaurant location, and two-thirds of your strangers work in healthcare, one is an attorney and one works in engineering. That's all you know. And then a couple hours before it says, okay, of your six, of your six or five strangers, three are women and two are male. And then you get there and then you meet everyone. And it's gets kind of neat the way they put their stuff together because it doesn't just pair extroverts with extroverts and introverts with introverts. It mixes um, it gives you little uh digital card games or not card games, but like questions that kind of keep the conversation going in case there's lulls in it. And then partway through the allotted time, which is like two hours, it'll say, Hey, if you guys want to carry on the conversation, go ahead and meet at this bar afterwards. But the thing is, the time-left organization, they have hundreds, I don't know if hundreds, but they have a good amount of dinner with strangers reservations at the same time throughout the city. And then they send everyone to that bar. So if you're really a social person, you just met five strangers. Then you get to go to the bar where you get to meet everybody who just went through the same experience that you went through. And can, well, I did that. I did that a year ago, uh, a little over a year ago, and I ended up meeting five other people. And me and this one girl really kicked it off. We were dominating the conversation, it was great. Turns out she was also the extrovert. We all exchanged information and we kept saying we're gonna hang out, but you know how life happens, right? We never really do. Well, she texted me and said, Hey, I'm having a Christmas party, come over. I was like, Cool. And then she reminded me a week out, and I was like, I'll be there. And then she reminded me the morning of. I was like, Don't worry, girl, I'm gonna be there. Hadn't seen her in almost a year, and I decided to go, and it was kind of far away. She lived in Silver Spring, Maryland, which is or Virginia. Honestly, I don't know the state that I was in. Um, but it was about a 45-minute ride, and I was like, fuck it, I haven't seen her. Met her once, had a great time. I'm gonna go and experience it, and I had I went and had a great time. That's the backstory.

SPEAKER_01So I get in my Uber, I get in my my lift. So I keep saying Uber because that's another common term. I get in my lift and I get in and I buckle, and immediately the driver says, he turns around and he says, Hey, just so you know, Lyft signed a new contract with us drivers and they reduced our pay by more than 50%. So please help us out. And I was just like, Okay, like weird, you know, you don't got a panhandle. I get it, cool. And then I go to put my headphones in, like we all do in the back of a in the back of a car, right? Right. And he goes, Hey, Siri, play Lyft playlist. And I was like, Ooh, what's a lift playlist, right? So I'm like, all right, so I stop and I, oh my goodness, hold on. My Siri just turned on, guys. I'm so sorry. My home pod. Um, I don't think we can hear it. All right. So, anyways, so I'm like, what is this playing? Well, I take my AirPods out and it's a pre-recorded audio clip. Like, if you're on an airplane, right? And it goes on for like more than a couple of seconds. I'm like, oh, this is gonna be long. And I whip my phone out and I press record. And it is over two minutes long. A pre-recorded audio clip talking about how Lyft has taken almost more than 70% of their money. They only keep 30% of all income. They you're on video recorded, video and audio recording at all times inside and outside the vehicle. You must leave a 20% tip. In fact, pull your phone out right now, go to the app, preset your settings to click 20%. You can do it right now, so it's taken care of. Oh, and by the way, you are all you are on audio and video. And if you rate and tip me incorrectly, your account may be deactivated permanently. And just went on for two minutes, right? And I was like, what the fuck is this? This is absurd. This is so ghetto. You're this is so absurd. I don't know how legit or legal this is. I don't like it. Whatever. So that finishes. I do put my headphones in, I go through the whole ride. We get to where we're going. Keep in mind, I haven't been there before. So it's not like I just pop out and know where I'm going. So as we're approaching the area, I'm looking around. He stops the ride a block early, like on the app, and turns around and says, Hey, I just stopped the ride. Now you can rate and tip me while you're still in the vehicle. And I said, I know I ignored it. I completely ignored it because one, rude, and two, I'm looking for where to get out. So he he can't find a spot. I can't find a spot because he shut off the app. We finally find it. I try to get out, and he's like, Did you rate and tip me? And I said, I'll get to when I get to it. And then I finally got out. So then I left, I go to the party, and I'm telling everybody.
SPEAKER_00Um the story tell me. Did he like go the extra block or he stopped a block early? He stopped a block early.

SPEAKER_00So then you still had to walk a block later.
Dinner With Strangers Backstory
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes. Yeah. Because he wanted to he wanted me to rate and tip him while I was still in the car. I know. All right, cool. So then I'm like, this is so annoying. So as I get out and I'm and I'm telling the story to to my these people at the party, I'm trying to make it funny. The more and more I keep telling it, the less and less funny I think it actually is. I'm like, this is actually kind of weird and wrong. And I obviously never felt physically unsafe, but I did feel uncomfortable. But I couldn't help but think, like, what if it was my like 90-pound-year-old mother in the back of that car, right? Or or or an elderly, elderly person who really felt coerced into tipping the most amounts and all that stuff. So I sat on it for a few days and I didn't know what to do. AJ, what would you have done?
SPEAKER_00I would have said, You want me to rate you as of you dropping me off a block early? I I you still have far further to go. How about you take me to my destination or I report you for not dropping me off at my destination? How about that? I know.
SPEAKER_01I I wish I would have reacted in the moments, but I didn't. So then, okay, so then now you finish the ride. What would you have done? You're out of the ride, you're at the party, and think about it. What would you have reported him or would you not have reported it?
SPEAKER_00Immediate report. I would have zero stars, a negative review. I would have like like zero tip, like, don't harass me to give you money. How about you give me an amazing experience? How about you give me a bottled water? Offer me a gum, offer me to charge my phone. How about you say, how was your day? How about you let me listen to the music I want? How about you say, hey, were you interested in hearing something? That's what you do to get the five star and that 20, 30, 40% tip. You don't get to direct how I'm gonna like, no, that's that's not, no, I don't like that at all.
SPEAKER_01Okay, well, I I had all those same sentiments, but I was like, I don't want to get this motherfucker fired. And I know I shouldn't have felt that way, right? I'm like, what if he really is just live driving the only way to make ends meet and it's December 19th, right? And it's December 19th, and I'm like, I don't want to get this motherfucker fired. So I sat on it for for a few days, and I finally decided to, you know what, let me let me again let me take this to the court of public opinion. So I took the TikTok and it went viral, and I don't know what to do. So finally, uh about three days later, I reported it, and um Lyft couldn't have cared any less.
SPEAKER_00So well, but by that point, you know, it's like they don't know who it was, they don't know anything, like you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Like, oh, they do, they do, because you report it through the app, you get to pick, you get to pick like which ride it was, and you report it. And then when they did, they asked me, like, you know, first are you safe? And I was like, Yes, this was three days ago. I just decided to report it now because of XYZ. I explained everything, and they're they're just like, please wait, please wait, please wait. Okay, we've made sure this is never gonna happen again. And I was like, All right, cool. But I did figure out something. So the universe works in mysterious ways. So I on my way to that party, I had the most terrible experience of first world problems. But on the way back, I had the most attractive, handsome, and I'm assuming gay lift driver. And uh, and I was I when I got home, I felt so stupid because I remember getting in the car and then he was like, I sit down and I was like, first I thought he was gonna keep, right? And then I got in a backseat and I said, Hey, I'm probably gonna fall asleep, so just wake me up when I get there. And he looks in the mirror and he's like, You're gonna sleep? And he gave me this weirdest smirk, and I was like, Yeah. And then I was like, that was kind of creepy. I don't know if I should go to sleep now. I'm nervous. But then I looked up and we just kept making eyes with each other back and forth. And I was like, Oh my god, like, okay. I was like, All right, cool, keep my cool, keep my cool. And then I get here, and then he's like, Have a good night. Let me know if you're let me know if you're gonna go to sleep. And I was like, Oh my god, he was throwing out all right, cool. So a few days later, when I went to when I went to report the terrible riot, I'm going through. My rides, I didn't know that you can favorite a driver and then lift will try to match you with them when you what's it called? When you pre-schedule rides. So if anything, I might get a love story out of this. But so but you haven't gotten again. What?
SPEAKER_00But you haven't gotten him again yet?
Reporting The Driver And Aftermath
SPEAKER_01I haven't. I wonder if it's because I need to get picked longer rides or maybe get something closer to his area. I don't know. But I haven't favored it. The app told like the app accepted it, so I'm assuming like he knows. And I just maybe I just need to like, or also maybe schedule my rides further out because I'm like pre-scheduling them like 30 minutes before right before I need them. So maybe I need like maybe I need to schedule my ride for like home from work tomorrow. Yes. Do it. So that is the only reason like I divorced lift for any serious rides except for pre-scheduling them trying to get this guy. Um well this is me. That was the start of my holiday season. I don't remember. I can't show you because I'm on the app, I'm on I'm using my phones right now. But I do have this picture, obviously, because I screenshot it. So when we're done, AJ, I will send it to you. And if anyone out there can run license plates, I also got that. So wink wink. Exactly. Don't do that. Don't make those faces. Don't make those faces. So that was the start of my holiday season, and it has been nothing but shenanigans since then. Um, there are so many things that I have done. But tell me, AJ, what did you do? What's the hot gossip? What is new? Any any pertinent events, any parties? All of them.
SPEAKER_00You're all of them. But first, I know always. Um, I actually kind of want to jump into can we just go over Salt Lake City and let's just go over the season? I've seen the first reunion. Um I'm very I I don't like a lot of these women and what's been going on and what's being said about drunken behavior and possible drug usage and all of these possible things. And they're spinning it on my girl Meredith when it's actually the stupid blonde girls who are being ridiculous. Let's go ahead and go and go there.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna find I'm gonna find it very difficult out to to to even agree with you here because one, I'm biased because I'm as we all know it's been on the record, you know, you won't let people forget it. Um I I I'm not the biggest fan of Meredith, but I don't stand alone in that. No, the cast itself stands by me, and so does the rest of the internet. So that is gonna be very difficult for me. So I'm glad that you are. Okay, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00No, I'm sorry. People are actually after this first reunion, like like part one of it, they're actually seeing Heather gay being ridiculous and how sloppy drunk she's always getting on the show, mind you. Proof receipts timelines that you could see her being a sloppy drunk all the way from season one. Okay, so there's that. Now, Whitney Rose being a sloppy drunk at BravoCon. Now, going back to Heather Gay, allegedly she was freaking out because she didn't know if they were gonna find her drugs in her suitcase, and she was like doing cocaine, apparently, allegedly, all of this, according to Monica's sources, which I believe.

The Cute Driver Twist
SPEAKER_00You like her, you like her a lot. You like her a lot. So what now now that she's coming for.
SPEAKER_01I like her a lot because I want her back. I want her back from one reason and one reason only, and that's because she speaks the truth.

SPEAKER_01That's not why I want her back.
SPEAKER_00I want her back for the drama of Jen Shaw that we're not going to. And Heather's the one that's leaking all the stuff, is what all of these people are saying. Who are these people?
SPEAKER_01I have yet to see these. Get me, post, post, get, get the screenshots. I'm not saying they don't exist, but I would like to see these other people's point of views. Sure. I would love to. But I did watch the reunion. I did watch, first of all.
SPEAKER_00Huh? I said I do send you things all the time. Could you watch them? On what? On I watch almost everything. Unless whatever I see it, whether it's Instagram or Facebook, I send it through there.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Well, I almost never look at Facebook. And also, I don't want to say anything about Meredith. But what I do want to see. Um, first of all, I went to watch the the reunion. I did not realize for some reason in my delusional mind, I completely missed the final season, final episode of the season. So I just watched that right before I watched the reunion. Uh I know. I don't I don't I thought I I thought it was fully caught up. Completely missed an episode. But I'm all caught up now. Um, I watched that reunion. I I'm sorry. I mean, okay, who I will always choose Meredith over is Lisa. I I cannot stand Lisa Barlow. I I can't stand anything she says. I do think that everyone, with the exception of Meredith, is in agreement with not being happy with with Lisa Barlow on the show and and I mean other celebrities in every news outlet. I mean, they went so far as questioning Ben Affleck, you know, about her his involvement with her. I cannot stand Lisa Barlow. And I I I know that every show needs that character that you can hate, these reality shows. Um I don't know who they can, I mean, I don't know who it can be, but I can't it can't be Lisa anymore. I can't stand her.
SPEAKER_00That's fine. You know, I I you know the thing is, the thing is, is what's what's coming to light in all of their like they were just trying to gun for Meredith for no reason when it was them projecting themselves onto her, and she's smarter than that and knows how to respond well. And they're blonde idiots that don't know how to speak eloquently and and kind of like, you know, show that they are are, you know, that they didn't have that kind of like connotation on that. You know what I mean? Like it's just like they're they're just being a little too critical when they're the ones like you shouldn't throw rocks at a glasshouse or whatever that saying is, you know.
SPEAKER_01I I will give you this because I don't know if you recall, you could probably go back four or five episodes where I did say, because at one point in time I really felt like the entire cast was coming for Lisa Barlow, then all of a sudden it's shifted to Meredith. And I remember saying that I didn't like that the negative energy was getting shifted to Meredith and leaving Lisa because I was really hoping they would hurry up and push and shun her. So I will say, I will agree with you on that, that it did kind of count, it did kind of come out of nowhere where they all attacked, they all attacked Meredith, and then whatever may have happened on that airplane, they use that to rekindle this new flame against against um Meredith. But the duo themselves, like, I mean, they feed off of each other. Uh I I think it got said really, really well on the thing. You can even see it in Andy's face. Andy's over it too, mainly with Lisa, maybe not so much Meredith. But you can even see that she's completely, he's completely over it. I think we all are as a as a viewership as well. But no, I I'm so done. I I I'm so done. And I don't I'm not gonna say I'm ready for a new cast because they obviously know how to make reality TV, these girls do, to include Airhead Brittany. But there they need to do a swap out of one or two people.
SPEAKER_00I think they need to get they need to get rid of Heather Gay. I think she's trying to stay relevant and cause this trauma, and I think she's the one that's leaking all the information, so that way they could have good shows and good drama. But I think that she's doing the most. And I think that um it's just it's just coming more to more to light with all the all the internet sleuths and what they're finding out of what they're like saying about it. I'm just and next time I do see it, I will be sure to forward it to you from TikTok or whatever. But um, there are several things.
Salt Lake City Reunion Fallout
SPEAKER_01Somebody did say that Heather Gay was a silent producer on the show, and I forgot where I heard that on what form or blog or whatnot, but or some Bravoholic was saying that Heather Gay was a silent producer on a show, so that she that's probably a lot of the reasons why she may not be have a strong storyline and whatnot, but she's kept out of the negative attention when it comes to editing and whatnot because she's a silent producer. So you might be right on that, but I don't see her going anywhere anytime soon.
SPEAKER_00So, so what I heard um from this one source is that I mean she didn't really have anything going on in her storyline this season. She like got rid of a like old bed, I think, or whatever was like the highlight of her season. Like that was disgusting.
SPEAKER_01That was that was disgusting. AJ, I just moved recently. No, no, no. I just moved recently, and well, actually, I had a brand new mattress. But when I was moving from Texas up here to DC, I saw my mattress, and like I haven't done anything, you know, anything outside of any other thing that people do on their mattresses, but just over the years, they collect stains, whether it's from fluid solo fluids with partners or just you know, you're drinking or eating on your bed, like they collect stains and it looks gross. And when I saw that, I'm like, I'm not I'm not allowing any of my friends, even though we're super close, to see that. Like, that's just that's just something that's a little gross, even though it's not gross, even though it's just a fact of life listener out there. If anybody has a mattress that doesn't have a protector on it, lift your sheets, you're gonna have stains, it's going to be there. But it's just not something that I wouldn't even allow my close friends to carry. Whatever. For her to put that on fucking television with all of those like stains on there, that was absolutely absurd. I thought that was disgusting.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. So another thing I heard was that allegedly um the producers locked the girls in their rooms so um because someone got alcohol poisoning from drinking too much, and she had to go to the hospital to get her stomach pumped. And apparently that was Heather Gay. On what trip? One of them doesn't matter, but they're not gonna be a lawsuit um if it went to error, so it didn't err.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Okay. Well, listen, you want Heather gone. I don't think that's happening anytime soon. Not just because she, I think she's my favorite, just because of the rumors too that she's a silent producer. She's not going anywhere. I would love to see Meredith Marks if she does leave the shows. We talked about those rumors before. I would love to see her on House of Villains or Traitors or something soon. Most importantly, you we all know that Andy says he's washed his hands of Jen Shaw. I would love to see a season of traitors where Jen Shaw and Monica Garcia are both on. I need to see them on the same camera on reality TV fucking stat. Did you catch up on Beverly Hills?

SPEAKER_00I don't like her. I think, but what I was saying, her defense, I don't, I don't, she's she's younger than us, and she's hanging out with these grandmothers who she's trying to like show off for. So I get these little comments like, oh my Chanel backpack, or like, oh, I have one of those, and oh, like I spent$10,000 on crystals. Like, you know, I think it's just her trying to, I mean, she's sitting at a fucking table with Kathy fucking Hilton. Yeah, Kathy's a good perception. Paris Hilton is older than her. I'm probably she probably like looked up to her, probably was like, I want to be Paris, like at some point, you know what I mean? So she's probably just trying to like, you know, live up to it or try to like I'm cool too.
SPEAKER_01And it's coming off badly. Right. Okay. No, I I like that perspective. It's cool. I I don't like her very much. I I really don't. I did see a tweet that said, just when I thought no one could be more insufferable than Sutton, in comes Amanda. And I was like, oh my god, that's kind of a week. Because I want Sutton gone. I need Sutton gone. I don't know why Sutton's still there. Is Sutton for me Heather Gay for you? Like, I can't stand Sutton.
SPEAKER_00So well, I can't stand her either. I I I agree. I, you know, with Sutton, um, I do like that the new girl is like coming for her, like at the dinner table when she was like, Oh, like, are you mad at me because of what I said about Avi? Like, and why won't she talk about it? I want her to go reach out to that person and be like, hey, give me the dark, give me the drama, the drama on Sutton. And then I like when she was like, Are you always crying? Do you always cry? Like, I loved it. I loved it so much.
SPEAKER_01And speaking of the new girls on that show, I have been a big fan of hers since I mean, 2013. Rachel Zoe, I obsessed bananas, gorge. Like, love Rachel Zoe. I think she's a breath of fresh air. Her confessionals, her on-the-fly confessionals are, I mean, for not being a comedian, I mean, they're comedian-level funny. And I know that they have some people that maybe rewrite their jokes and whatnot, but even then, delivery is everything, and she's fucking got it.
SPEAKER_00But remember, she's she's like old, she's been with Bravo from like way back when. So she knows how to fucking work the camera and work the confessionals because she had to do that. Like when I think it was like they just clipped to her and she was like, I can't, I can't. It just is I can't. Like when she was talking about the new girl, when she was, she said something or she just like clipped, yes.

SPEAKER_00Good, good. Um, I am really enjoying Jennifer Tilly. I mean, I've loved her since she came as a a friend of. Um, and I mean, she still is, she's like adjacent or whatever. Um, but like I she's she's she's good TV. And I mean, I love that Erica is like she's a fucking Oscar nominated actress. Like, how you probably don't even know who Jennifer Tilly is. Like when she was like talking about like the new girl, like, do you even know who she is? What do you mean? Like, she's of course she's kooky, of course she says these crazy things, of course she's like, ha ha ha ha, with all her jewels and everything. Like, I just she's good TV and she does it to like make it like funny for us, you know what I mean? Like the like climbing up the mountain, like in her boots and stuff. Like, I'm sure it wasn't that bad, but she did it for the cameras and the TV, and that was great for me. I loved it.
SPEAKER_01You know, she's definitely growing on me. I know at first I remember it's on the record here that I was not a fan of her. I think she's definitely growing on me quite a bit. And you had mentioned that she's still a friend of. And also, I just think about it, maybe much like Kathy Hilton, they're so fucking wealthy that they're not gunning for that contract, you know. Maybe over time they do because Kathy's like, well, this might make me a little bit more relevant again than just being a divorcee and Paris Hilton's mother. Yes, she has her her Beverly Hills grip on, you know, that area, but but even then it took Kathy a while for her to get to get a full, a full um is is Kathy a friend of or is she a full cast member?

SPEAKER_00Um, Kathy Hilton. Yeah, but no, she is still a friend of the show because she actually um like she she doesn't want her diamond. She doesn't, she's she's kooky and she's just gonna be in like parts and and always invited to like the events and stuff like that. But she's she's not going to be like an actual um like diamond holder.
SPEAKER_01So then her and Jennifer Tilly are in the same boat where they're just gonna have fun. Okay, yeah. So I'm looking at it right here, right now. What I think I was confused about was first of all, oh look at you. I need I wish I could send you these links of them in like the 80s. But, anyways, um I think I got I got my my things confused because no, she's not a divorcee, but they're no longer directly tied to Hilton, they sold it off. That's that's where I got my my divorcee in my mind. But yeah, the point that I'm making is they're so filthy rich, that there's they're just there to have a good time occasionally. I don't think they're gunning for that contract. Um, and I think I like I said, I'm Jennifer Tilly that that I'm getting that vibe from her and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
SPEAKER_00I like that she's realizing what a fucking cunt that Sutton is, and she said, I, you know, the little drop of water in the rock, and then it's gonna like make a hole and and crack it open, and she's like, enough's enough. Like, why is she snapping at her like that? She doesn't talk like that to anyone else but Jennifer. Like, that's crazy. Jennifer needs much more. Like, I need her gone. And actually, here's here's here's what I'll say that way if people want to do whatever. I have I have an aunt who has just been a very nasty person my my entire life, right? Didn't do well. Two things bad, just my entire life, firsthand experienced it multiple times over my entire life. Obviously, second and third, she's just not a good person. Okay. And to top it off, she is not easy on the eyes. And it's one of those things where it's like, come on, that just makes it even worse, ma'am. Like, you can't be both mean and ugly. Like, pick one. So obviously she can't change her looks because my aunt doesn't have that money, so she needs to change her fucking personality. Sutton, if you don't want to change her personality, spend the fucking money and change your looks. I hate that I said that.

Beverly Hills: New Faces, Old Grudges
SPEAKER_01Okay, you know, so for me, I only watching that Phaedra's fucking viral moments from that show are what got me last I first heard of it. So I started watching just highlights like on social media. Then I'm like, okay, well, when season three starts, I'm gonna watch season three. And I got busy, I really didn't get into it, and I caught like the last third of the show. Obviously, it was so great, season three. So I made it a point to make sure I was gonna get season four, and I've been with season four. I mean, I'm and I'm I'm fucking obsessed. I was what I'm like, I wish I could just binge it, but I can't I can't put it on pause and wait because I'll get spoilers. So I have to just wait for them to come out weekly.
SPEAKER_00Wait, yes, it's and watch them. It's so good. So can I ask you a question? Love go ahead.
SPEAKER_01Oh well, how do you feel about Reese? How do you feel about Rob from Love Island? Or is it Love Island that Breeze from?
SPEAKER_00Is is he the snake one? Yeah, the one that that charms snakes or something.
SPEAKER_01And when I'm talking about not how do you not how you feel about on the show, like, do you think he's like as attractive as the internet says he is? Um I think he's a 10. Okay, okay. You heard it here first, people.
SPEAKER_00Michael Rapor. Why does he eat like that? Why is he shoveling? Did you see that? What the fuck is shoveling? I was like, why is he doing that? It's like, have some cool you're in public. There's cameras. Why are you eating on camera, first of all? And that's crazy. And then when he was holding the water to drink, like he was like, like that was crazy. And as wild as he was getting, and as loud as he was, I love that they were like, You are if you are um a faithful, you're terrible faithful because you're distracting us from what we really need to talk about, and you're you're wrong. Da-da-da. And he just the way he just got so great. I don't like that on the last round table, he said something, he referenced the closet, which bad timing. You don't want to come for the gays in any kind of way, especially when there's like six gays there, and you want to reference how he was in the closet and how he's that was that's why he's easily a traitor because he was hiding in the closet for so long. However, he worded it, that was terrible because that was like, bro, we were about to get rid of you, but now we're gonna destroy you. And everyone was just like, No, that is not what you do.
SPEAKER_01That's I read the afters on that, and it's very mixed. It's very mixed feelings about that because people, and I think the reason why a lot of the gays have mixed feelings about it is because a lot of the gays don't like Colton. They don't like that he monopolized off his straight passing mannerisms. Literally, I just not monopolized, uh monetized his straight passing mannerisms, and then came out of the closet after having all his domestic abuse and restraining orders. And so a lot of the gays don't like Colton at all. And I think those are the gays who are kind of defending Michael, saying that Michael said what he said, but not in a derogatory term. Morse used it more as a fact that, well, you do know how to, you know, hide your true whatever they are. And so this it went back and forth. So it's very mixed out there, but honestly, I only think it's mixed because of the gay population that does not like Colton.
SPEAKER_00So But listen, no, and here's my thing also with that. Like, when he was like, Oh, what like I think Colton took it and ran with it as far as he and as fast as he can. He got thrown that football and ran or whatever, I don't know, sports, but whatever. Um, and he did it, right?
SPEAKER_01He got thrown that football and went for that home run.
SPEAKER_00And he got the score or whatever. Um, but but anyway, and I mean, I the the way he one again, Michael Rappaport or whatever, was just a ghoul that needed to go. So good riddance. And two, the the way he took it and ran with it, I kind of didn't care for that. But I wouldn't, if I were Colton, I probably would have like not spun it that way. But like, I would have been like, oh wow, like you know what I mean, or I would have been like, I would have made some kind of like joking comment, but like not not to the extreme that it needed to go. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Also, Colton's Colton is gonna do what he's gotta do to win that game. You know, I don't think he's gonna go very far. I don't think he is, but I I think he's gonna do what he's gotta do to try to at least stay as long as he can. So who are you already? I did like his little as I'm right now. Which one? On Last Until Fight on the latest season.
SPEAKER_00I thought it was so adorable. Um, I really like um the the the top chef chick. I think she's been she's fun. I like her. I love her. Um I hate Mora. I want her gone. She's so annoying. Yes. She's like, I think from Love Island also. I hate her. I I can't stand her. Yeah, the little tiny thing, the tiny little girl. Get rid of her. Um, I like Tara Lipinski and um Johnny Weir. Um, they're they're really they're they're sweet and cute. Um, but from the Traders, I don't like, I mean, Lisa's gonna go first.
SPEAKER_01You know, Lisa isn't gonna go first, and I don't think it's fair. I think Candace should go first. I don't think Candace is is doing a great job, especially on season, on episode two, Congo Line episode. I was like, girl, what are you doing? That was so dramatic and so over the top, but that is her stick, that's her thing. And it even was on the show, on Housewives, you know what I mean? That's that's her thing. Um, not because any Candace, but I think Lisa is gonna go first.
SPEAKER_00I, you know, I don't really care about the over the top housewives? Oh, I thought the conga line damn. So I saw that they so on the the conga line, someone someone said, I can't believe Lisa survived Kathy Hilton's Conga line only to be made to do it on traitors. And I was like, what happened? What do you recall that? Do you know when I think it was when they were in Colorado or something, and she wanted the conga line so bad, and no, and Lisa was like, I am not fucking doing the conga line only to have to do it for this. The traitors, it was hilarious.
SPEAKER_01I thought that's I don't remember that, and now I have to do a deep dive. I don't remember that at all. God, I wish I did. Um no, uh Yam Yam. I'm I like him a lot. Mark Ballas. Um, I mean, big fan of Mark Ballas. I also think I kind of get vibes, which was Mark Ballas. He's from Dancing with the Stars.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, which that doesn't okay. He is so fucking sexy pre grunge. But, anyways, I I don't I feel I my vibes I get from him are like I have no idea what I'm doing here. But and I think that's gonna help him for honestly for a little while at first. Um, by the time he figures out what he's doing, two-thirds of the cast are gonna be gone. So he'll be alright. Donna Kelsey, I was screaming at the TV during that round table.
SPEAKER_00I think that they should have picked a different, stronger person to be the secret um traitor. I don't know what the idea was supposed to be. I think she got lost too soon or got like found too soon for the secret trader. I think in the producer's mind, she would have lasted longer and there would be more things that happened with it. So I'm I'm interested to see what that whole thing should have been about. So I I I I thought it was a great idea, but I think that that should have gone to maybe Lisa or or Candace, um, someone who would have been more like sneaky about it or something. Um I do I I think that Lisa Rina being over the top during the breakfast and not her conniving, sneaking, loudmouth way on the round table is is what's gonna be her demise. Okay, I see that.
SPEAKER_01I I think I'm also gonna give, I'm gonna take a peep on over to the UK traders. Because if I heard correctly, the this season of the UK traders, they're not showing to viewers any of the traders. So I think we are just as as lost as the contestants are. If I heard correctly. So I think I'm gonna, you know, flip the channel over there, take a look at that one, and see how that's going. AJ, just like I mentioned in the beginning, we have way too much to catch up on to get it all into one episode. Um, so before I come to a close, I want to hear a little bit about uh just a small side quest about your um your DJ stuff that's going on there. What's happening? What's new? What's the gossip? Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Tilly, And Sutton Takes
SPEAKER_00I am um, so I'm still networking quite a bit. So I actually just did um the Warehouse Wednesday. I met some new DJs there um um with um our friend DJ Vitamin A. Um, and I'm still doing the sundown social things. Um he has like 70 DJs um for this new um 2026 roster that he has. So I have plenty on deck. Um I'm enjoying my hiatus and and gearing up for season two. Um you know, I kind of um kind of reorganized and and there's gonna be some slight changes um that I'm gonna have structure-wise in my uh interview sessions. But but yeah, so season two is gonna be coming um and it is in the works, and I will be starting um up, I'm lining up my DJs um or my interviews for the DJs actually here in the next couple of weeks. Um, I'm gonna start my interviews with them, and I think I'm gonna probably have my first episode air in February.
SPEAKER_01That is super exciting. I can't wait. Um, I'm I want to hear all about that. I know you have some big things going with your Sundown Social. I if I we'll probably get it on next episode, but you just had a big event this past Saturday, I believe. So, was it on Saturday you had the uh Bear House event? Was that correct? Yes, it was amazing. There's lots to hear from that. Um tell me.

Um, Rudy and Ade Alanis did this amazing little back-to-back um for the last two hours of it. I had never seen him do anything like that, and their sound together was just amazing. So it was it was super fun. I you should have been in town for it. I thought you were gonna be in town for it, um, but uh it is what it is. You'll catch the next one. There's gonna be a huge DJ coming up um February 21st, and then um some more coming in March and April. And April for my birthday is a huge one of my favorite DJs that I can't say so.
