Modern-day cannibalism. Yes — that’s the claim.

In Tastie, Tom Baldwin exposes what many people refuse to look at: the use of HEK-293, an immortalized human embryonic kidney cell line derived from an aborted fetus, in the development of flavors used by major food and beverage corporations.

While companies insist these cells are “only used in research and flavor development,” Tom asks the question no one wants to answer — does using aborted human tissue to enhance taste cross a moral line humanity can’t come back from?

This episode is raw, unapologetic, and deeply confronting. It dives into corporate deception, ethical decay, consumer complicity, and the dangerous road a society travels when profit outweighs human dignity.

This is not about politics.
 This is not about religion.
 This is about standards.

If this doesn’t bother you, Tom asks — what will?

Hold on.
 This one is thick.
And yes — it’s going to hurt.

(Transcribed by TurboScribe.ai. Go Unlimited to remove this message.) Wow, that tastes amazing. It's like totally lights up my taste buds. Holy cow. How in the world do they do that? Well, we've got this secret ingredient and it just makes it... Wow, I tell you, I just love this. Oh yeah, another one. I say this every time, but this is definitely a toast smasher for some of you. And, uh, some of you are going to say, thank you, Tom. I so appreciate that. And you're like, what is he talking about? Well, you're going to find out, but this is Tom Baldwin. I am the host of the yup podcast. Yup. Because, uh, I really like that word. And it is a podcast. I redneck wisdom is what I call it because I am a father of six and a surrogate father, surrogate. I don't think that's the right word. I mentor a lot of people and I have mentored a lot of people and I love to help people succeed and grow and get past hard things. And if you can learn from my mistakes, then that just makes my heart happy. And so that's what this podcast is about. Helping you to sidestep some mistakes, maybe get ahead faster, get past some things faster. And so that's what it's all about. And like usual, you could reach me. Well, you're going to have to figure that out. Um, you can figure it out if you go back and listen to past podcasts, but I'm not going to banter to you about money or giving or going to clicking and, you know, subscribe if, if you like me, you're going to subscribe. And if you don't, you're going to unsubscribe and, you know, just do that. It's, we're not going to have any hurt issues here. I, I just need to tell you where my heart is and I'm for you. And I always want to bring you, uh, the truth as, uh, as I know it and, uh, spark some thinking on your side. I know that you're not always going to agree with me, but all I ask you to do is think and think for yourself. Don't ever take something I say or somebody else says as the end all take it as a starting point. It's just like, man, I'm going to figure this shit out for myself. We'll go and figure it out for yourself because the world's going to be a better place if you do that. If you disbelieve something, somebody says, then you're a fucking idiot, right? You're a fucking idiot. And if you go to the doctor and the doctor tells something to you, you're like, I'm not sure about that, but he's a doctor and he knows it all. Fuck you. You're an fucking idiot. Doctors don't know it all. And there's a reason why they're practicing. Yeah. They're practicing on you. So go get a second opinion and go ask somebody else and get on the Google or ask chat beat GPT because that's got your best interest in mind, right? Absolutely. Or maybe you should ask Bill Gates because, uh, he's so for you too, while we're going down the conspiracy side track here, uh, many of you probably haven't watched Bill Gates Ted talk about population and overpopulation. And you think all the ideas that Bill Gates comes up with are, are great. And, uh, but you haven't watched his Ted talk as he talks about the only variable we can control in a overpopulation is you. And so when he comes up with these great things, what variable do you think he's trying to reduce? Yeah. Yeah. You should trust Bill Gates. Absolutely. I, I think it's, I think it's a great idea and, uh, maybe you should fucking listen to a different podcast. Uh, yeah, I'm talking about something today that I don't really like to talk about and I don't really want to talk about, but the moral ethical side of me says you have to talk about it and you least have to let people know. And when I have talked about this, I've had reactions on both sides. People are like, thank you so much, Tom. And other people are like, you're full of shit. I can't, I can't believe you're even focusing on that. You know, I, I can't handle this truth. And I did a podcast on, you can't handle the truth. It was about some different subject matter, but there are some things that are truth that people just don't want to hear because they don't have the bandwidth. I always want to hear the truth, no matter how hard it is. I often have to tell myself the truth and you're probably not ever going to like this imagery. And you're like, dude, why'd you share that with me? Now I have a mental picture. I'm, I'm sorry. You get this, but I'm overweight. Right. And every morning I go and stand in front of the mirror and I just stare at myself and I don't like what I see necessarily in the mirror, other than, you know, the handsome face and the giant penis and gonads, you know, those, those things are awesome. But the rest of it, I have a great penis. It's not a giant penis. It's not a small penis. And it works just fine. Those of you that want to know and know there there'll be no show and tell here as far as that. Um, but I stare and I look and I don't like the fat that I see. And I don't like it hanging off my arms or hanging around my waist or, you know, the man boobs that I have. But I want to know the truth and it inspires me to make the tough choices throughout the day and do I make the right choices every day? No. And, and I'm working through that, but I never not want the truth. And you know, my kids have laid truth out to me and it's been hurtful. My wife has laid truth out to me and it's hurtful only because I still have an ego and I'm a narcissist, otherwise it wouldn't be hurtful. And yes, we still struggle with all that. We, as in me, myself and I, um, still struggle with that, but I always want to know the truth, but I've been shocked at how many people don't want to know the truth and living in delusion is their mode of operation and it is so foreign to me. I don't, I can't, I don't get it. Now, sometimes I know the truth and I don't necessarily act on it or know how to act on it, but I always want to hear it and I'm going to mull it around and I'm going to, you know, sometimes I have to stew on it for a while, but I always want to hear it and I'm always really grateful and, uh, you know, my pride, my ego, my narcissistic self, you know, needs to be squashed a little bit. It's like, dude, you don't know it all. And when this truth came into my life, it was transformative and it was transformative for myself, my wife, who I'm so grateful that she reacted the same way that I did and my kids amazingly, they reacted as, as I did too. And you know, I didn't force them. I let them have their own reaction and they were just like, Whoa, here's like, Tom, what's all the lead up to this? This, this sounds pretty intense. And, uh, for some of you, it's going to be hugely intense and others, you're just going to be all that. What, what's, what's the big deal. And so I'm prepared for all those reactions and you know, it's on you, how you take this and how you react to it. And I can't control that. But what I can control is, is that I do need to tell you the truth. And so what I'm talking about is, uh, came across information about companies that make food. Yes. The, the food empire, you know, general mills, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and all these companies are using a flavor enhancing technology from, uh, elected, aborted fetal stem cells. So they're using fetal stem cells research in developing flavors that excite your taste buds and cause you. And a lot of this stuff to just have an over flavor reaction. It's kind of like a MSG, it kind of lights you up and it's like, it makes things actually taste better than they actually do. And they're used from human embryonic kidney cells from an aborted fetus. And so I'm going to be very clear here, cause there's a lot of misinformation out there about this. And, um, and there are a lot of people that fall on different sides and they're like, well, you know, I'm okay with abortion and, you know, I'm not going to argue any of that. What I'm just going to do is give you the information about this. And so it is, um, I believe it was a human embryonic kidney cell. It might've been from late sixties, early seventies. And I believe it was in Switzerland from elected abortion from a female. And the cell, what they do is they call, they immortalize it, which means they just take this cell and they clone it and they clone it and they use it for various different things. And if you got the COVID-19 vaccine, they use it in the RNA technology development, it's unclear if it's actually in the vaccine itself, but it was in the development of the vaccine to help, um, suppress your immune response to RNA, which is just information being injected into your body to help your ribosome, like produce that spike protein if you've got that. And so, um, this technology has also been used just to develop flavors in food and there for a time period, they were actually using these immortalized cells in food. And some of the companies that did that, you can find it online. I'm not necessarily going to tell and badmouth them because I'm just not a fan in general of the large food corporate structure. And I definitely think they have profits in their eyes versus our best interest in feeding us and nourishing us. And so, you know, they'll go all the way to using technology, um, from aborted human kidney cells to enhance flavors, to have us buy their products. For me, the ethics around that are just, yeah, my reaction was just profound and it may not bother you. I would say, does it not bother you because it's not your kid. What if it was your kid? Do you realize that you're eating food from a human? Okay. And I'm going to step on toes here, but abortion is murder. Okay. And if you have been a part of that, I'm sorry. And there is, I believe there's hope out there. I know that there is hope out there, but a person was killed and there's no denying it and the scientific evidence and you can have an emotional reaction to this. And you probably do if, if you've been a part of that. Um, but it is killing a life is taking a life. And so a life that was taken, you know, we have nice words around it. Elected, you know, termination or, um, abortion, um, all those things, a life was taken because if that life had been left alone and those of you that have kids, look at your kids, that is what that HEK, which is this technology, this immortalized human embryo kidney cell came from, that would be a person. You know, take a look at your kids, take a look at your friends, kids. And so that food that you have eaten or eat at one point, depending on the company actually had these human cloned embryonic kidney cells, K they're cloned from the original. Okay. So they're not actually, well, it's into a whole thing about cloning, right? Where, where is the line? Is it, is it not? It looks like it is. It's the same, but it's right. I, I don't know where to fall on that. I mean, I know where I fall on that. Where do you fall on that? You know, I like breaking things down to the basics and I, I don't like the fluff and, um, in our world now, everything has a spin on it to make it maybe not seem so bad or maybe make it seem really bad. And so I'm putting the, I guess, I don't think it's been, I'm just breaking it down into basic things. A person that was murdered in the womb has had their kidney cells taken and cloned, and now is developed into the food that you buy and it's developed specifically so you enjoy it more. And the flavors are more intense with this technology or actually, actually has these cloned kidney cells. Okay. For me, and I'm not going to put these words in to your mouth, but a society that's moving in this direction is diabolical and it struck me to my core. I was like, Oh my gosh, this is the fall of a society. When we begin using our own children to enhance our palates. Yeah. I said it that way. When we begin to use our own children to enhance our palates, to satisfy our like appetite and our taste buds. Yeah. I was bothered to my core and I was shocked to my core and immediately I was like sick to my stomach as I looked at the products that were produced and some of my favorite products. And yeah, you're like, what are they? Cheetos, Doritos, Pepsi. Okay. I'm naming a few. There are a ton out there. Snapple. Yep. Yeah. And I, I was sick and I was on my face. I was like, Oh my God. Okay. Yeah. I'm a man of faith and when I believe, I do believe, and I think I've made a valid argument for it, that God created, an intelligent creator, there's an intelligent force behind our existence, created us and now I'm, yeah, that's a sick, absolutely sick. So you don't have to be a person of faith to get upset. Really? We carry this to the natural end. What if there are human embryonic cells that are going to extend life? We go there. Can we justify that? Absolutely. We can justify that. And what if we find out when kids are born and they reach age two and there's a, there's, they're even more viable. There's something about their genetics at age two that allow us, to take what they have to extend even more, or it will cure diseases. Can we justify the sacrifice of that? Right now we're justifying it for our appetite, but what if it's a more normal cause when, what if this person is a scientist and they have an incurable disease, but if we euthanize one of these little toddlers and we can harvest different parts of them to save this person or save these people, this is a path and this is a road to absolute destruction. And what has shocked me as I've told this to a lot of people, I feel a moral responsibility. I can't, I can't control how they react. And I've honestly been quite saddened by a number of people that I've told that I thought would have a different reaction than they did. And probably the one that got me the most was I was on a trip with a friend of mine when I first came across this information. And yeah, I got admit with remorse. It took me a while to process it. And I immediately stopped the few things that I knew about, but I didn't actually dive in, research it for a while because yeah, I was a little apathetic. I'll just, I'll lay that out there. You know, Tom, yeah, I, I'm really sickened by that honestly. And my own apathy, but my friend, I told him and he was, he was having a soda. And I was like, you know, that's made with technology for human embryonic fetuses, you know, kidney cells. And, uh, he looks at me and he takes a big old sip and he says, yeah. And I, for one last trip I've ever taken with him again and have limited my exposure with him because for better or for worse, I'm going to be around people that are like-minded and, uh, yeah, this is an issue that's a make or break for me. And so much so that our family, when we host people in our house, we ask them not to bring those products into our house. And, uh, cause I shouldn't even have to say, because, because you should know that's not right. And if you don't have the basics of this town, I yeah. Stop listening to me, Kay, because you, you need to think about some things and, and, and you, you need a wake up call. This should bother you to your core and it should worry you and cause you stress about the future of the human race and your children. And what will you do in the future? And what will actually bother you if you're not bothered by this and you're not willing to make some changes, like not support these companies. Okay. I'll have to tell you, I had a moment. I love Sour Patch Kids. You're like, Tom, why'd you say that? Fuck you. I love Sour Patch Kids too. Are they on the list? Sorry. They are. And I looked at them and I'm like, I really like those. And then I thought, looked at my children and I was like, yeah, done. A hundred percent done. But I've been shocked by people that are just like, well, they're not actually putting human embryonic kidney cells in it. And you know, this company just uses that technology to enhance their flavor and so that's okay. And yeah, you, you want to support that company and you trust what that company says that they're not using that, right? Yeah. You're a fucking fool. Fuck you. Yeah. We got to have people that stand up and have some balls, man. I hate to say it. There are a lot of people of faith out there that have no balls, have no morals and have no standards. Yeah. Maybe you do all the right things and you don't cuss and you don't say fuck, but what I do makes a fucking difference. I'm not supporting people that are killing and using technology from children and you fucking shouldn't either. Yeah. I'm telling you what you should fucking do. What, what are the consequences of eating our own? I can't even imagine physiologically, morally, ethically, the spiritual side of it just drives me bananas. I'm just like, and maybe you're not a spiritual person, but I'm thinking that embryo had a spirit. What the hell? What the fucking hell? So I asked you, who the hell are you? Hey, maybe I just lost all my podcast listeners. Oh, well, I'm not going to give another dime to those companies. I'm not going to support another fricking sense. Even if they're not actually putting that thing in there, they were willing to use it for profit. How diabolical is that? Where are your standards? You don't have to be a person of faith. Where are your fucking standards stand up, man, stand up, lead your family, lead your fucking self. There are so many things out there that you can eat that you don't have to support these companies. Can I tell you, and some of you are like diehard support, like the pharmaceutical industry and you love your pharmaceuticals, man, if you want to listen to somebody and, uh, if you don't want to listen to him, you should listen to Robert Kennedy Jr. And talk about the pharmaceutical companies and the amount of money they pay in damages and the lies that they tell for profit, how they talk about oxycodone and how it wasn't addicted and they lied about it for years and they knew that it wasn't other drugs that were giving people heart attacks that they knew about for years for the sake of profit and you trust them blindly and you take their fucking pharmaceuticals. Okay. The food companies are no different. They are in it for profit, but you trust them. You are a fucking idiot. Wake up. You've fallen off the fucking boat and you're drowning and you don't even know it. You're drowning in deception and lies. I'm not talking about a person of faith. I'm just talking about the freaking real world here and the things that are happening to you for profit. And you're just standing by and letting it be an injected in you. And so those of you that had the COVID-19, you may actually have human embryonic kidney cells in your blood. Hey, it's great, right? We don't know for sure. They're not in there. They said they've used the technology to develop it, but how do they suppress the immune system? Yeah. Yeah. We have to be careful. Okay. What you consume. How's that old saying go? You are what you eat. That should, that should go a little ways. Yeah. How's it feel to be a cannibal? Makes me sick. I'm sick. My gut hurts. I'm sick, sick, sick. Okay. Yeah. Not a happy podcast. But as an ancient text of scripture said, you should know the truth and the truth to set you free. And so maybe some of the, we don't know the side effects of, uh, and spiritual ramifications of eating or eating products that are used from murdered children, I got to imagine they're pretty intense and they're pretty far reaching and it's something that is worth your consideration and not just, uh, I don't agree with that. You should probably go out there and, uh, cause I care about you. I'm not saying this for me. I'm saying this because honestly, it'd be a lot easier to be quiet and not say anything, but it's not who I am. And so it's actually not easier. And so I got to do the hard thing because I can't keep quiet. And if you don't agree with me, it saddens me. And, uh, at least on this topic, other topics, yeah, this one saddens me because, um, yeah, the ramifications are huge and, uh, yeah. Um, if you didn't believe in evil before this, this would be a great time to start because the belief in evil will lead you to a belief in the good and the creator and you will find hope there. So my friends, you got some truth today. I don't know what you're going to do with it. My heart right now is aching that you make, make some changes and, uh, not just a rebuttal to me. It's probably the thing that ached me the most when I told some of my acquaintances and friends and they just like, wow, they stopped using that years ago and they don't use that anymore. So I'm going to continue this and give your money to that corporation that has your children and your best interests in mind. Oh, it makes my heart ache. I'm not mad at them. I'm sad and I'm sad for those that know the truth and continue. What are the ramifications? Yeah, here we are. And this is the interesting thing about life because you can't separate our spiritual reality, our physical reality with our spiritual experience. And especially in these days, they're interacting and they're intersecting more than ever. And so you can't, you can't just deny. And, uh, it's becoming evident in the world around us. And so, Hey, I do. I love you. I appreciate you. Most of you out there are a heavy heart and, uh, gosh, I appreciate that about you. And, uh, thanks for being who you are and, uh, yeah, go out there and make a difference. And, uh, yeah, I did something kind of, uh, kind of sneaky because you know the truth now. What are you going to do with it? So go out there and make a difference.
