We talk about different species, individual animals, conservation efforts, nutrition...all kinds of stuff. Today, the Safari heads to Boston to visit Franklin Park Zoo, part of Zoo New England! But we aren't there to talk with people that work at the zoo...instead, we are talking to Matthew Kamm and Kirsten Ward of the Zoo New England Field Conservation Team! We talk turtles, we talk newts, we talk all kinds of good stuff. I always love shining a light on the conservation work done at zoos, and the fact that this organization has an entire staff dedicated to field conservation is such a wonderful thing to hear!
