Sherilyn MacGregor is a Reader in Environmental Politics in the Department of Politics and the Sustainable Consumption Institute at the University of Manchester. Her research focusses on intersections between feminist and environmental politics and between sustainability and social justice.

In this episode, Sherilyn explores why the language we use to talk about the COVID crisis is important, whether countries with feminist leadership have performed better during the pandemic and why she believes that hope is a political act.
