In this episode of On Tap...we have a first. Amy is the first female that I have interviewed. If I were to list the first female who I would have on the show Amy would probably would not have been on the list. But I couldn't think of a better first female to have on the Podcast. As you will hear we have many things in common. I met Amy through Project 52 (www.p52.org) and she has and continues to be a great supporter and volunteer for Project 52. Amy is in transition after she was displaced from her career and she is listening to the voice inside of her that maybe calling her to do something totally different. It was a great joy to have Amy on the Podcast. We pray that our conversation blesses you and helps give you joy in this journey of life. CHEERS!!

It was great to connect with Pastor Nate Liedtke from New Life in Norwalk Iowa. Usually my podcasts are 30 minutes long but when two pastors start talking it goes just a bit longer. We shared many laughs in our conversations on Covid, Sermons and Sermon writing and delivery, Bikes and many more on some of the connections we have.
On Tap is meant to capture some of those truly great conversations we have with friends when we connect. Nate and I definitely connected! Although we had not talked in over a year we picked up like we just talked yesterday! We pray our conversations blesses you and helps you find joy in this journey of life. Cheers!

Today my former boss Chris Thomson joins me to talk about Apologetics. Chris was one of the best bosses I ever had! Many times I would stop into his office to ask something work related and several minutes later I would leave after a great conversation. Chris has a heart and gift for sharing and defending the Christian faith or Apologetics. Apologetics is defined as "reasoned arguments or writings in justification of something, typically a theory or religious doctrine."
1 Peter 3:15 "but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect," Defense in Greek is the word ἀπολογία (apologia) and that is where the word Apologetics comes from. Defend your faith with gentleness and respect!! No apologies needed for that!!
We pray that our conversation helps to give you joy in this journey of life!
