This week we had the pleasure of speaking with Dr Tessa Davis. Tessa is a Consultant in Paediatrics Emergency Medicine at The Royal London Hospital and also a Senior Lecturer in Emergency and Resuscitation Medicine at Queens Mary University of London
Tessa is one of the co-founders of the paediatric education resource website and conference "Don’t Forget the Bubbles" (DFTB), where paediatric healthcare professionals from across the world can share knowledge with their peers.
And that is where we get the theme for todays conversation with Tessa - It’s all about the Bubbles!
It's called DFTB as a nod to bubbles - the most important accessory for any Paediatric healthcare professional. It's a reminder of the need for a holistic approach to Paediatrics - the evidence base is core but blowing some bubbles can be used for a multitude of purposes for sick children.
During our conversation we talk about the amazing project that DFTB has launched called Skin Deep which aims to improve the diversity in skin images online.
