"I started my animal bodywork journey in 2017 to fulfill a childhood dream of working with horses and to help financially support my son through college.

Schaeffer Bodyworks quickly went from a side job to a full time passion for helping people help horses in any way that I can!

Schaeffer Bodyworks is committed to providing high-quality Equine Bodywork education to individuals at all skill levels! 

Our mission is to help people assist horses. April operates her hands-on business, continually learning to enhance her courses. She offers in-person one-on-one and group clinics, as well as other informative clinics with respected fellow professionals. 

She also guides her online students in acquiring skills for their personal horses or burgeoning businesses!

I have been an avid horse lover my whole life and fulfilled a dream of working with horses by starting SBW in 2016 as a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. 
I’ve gone on to get multiple other certifications, continuing education and attended 3 whole horse dissections. 

I created my online classroom as a way to offer understanding to anyone interested in an affordable way!"
