Meet Amanda

Amanda has been around horses since she was a little girl. Horses were always something she loved, but her journey with them hasn’t always been easy. Her first horse, a spicy Arabian mare, taught her just how much there is to learn about communicating with horses, and it was through discovering natural horsemanship and liberty methods as a teen that everything began to click.

As an adult, Amanda found her way back to horses in a much deeper way. In 2018, she began working primarily with wild mustangs, gentling them and preparing them for adoption. Through that experience, she discovered one of the things she loves most about horses, not just riding them, but helping people understand them, connect with them, and fall in love with the process of building a relationship with a horse.

Over the years, Amanda has competed with mustangs at South Point, as well as in local gymkhana and jumping shows. She enjoys learning and exploring different disciplines and is happy to teach riders the basics of everything from jumping to barrel racing. But more than that, Amanda believes horses should be FUN.

Her lessons focus on connection, communication, confidence, and creating a peaceful environment where riders can slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy barn life. Whether someone is brand new to horses, getting back in the saddle, or looking for a place to grow their skills, Amanda wants her students to feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to come back each week.

For Amanda, it’s never been about doing everything perfectly. It’s about creating a partnership, learning to listen, celebrating the little victories, and experiencing the quiet kind of joy that only barn life can bring. She’s always excited to share that experience with families in Las Vegas and help them discover their own special connection with horses.
