In today's excerpt, enjoy the third movement of Beethoven's Quintet for piano and winds in E-flat Major Op. 16 with the Azahar Ensemble, recorded live at the 2018 Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary. Said to be modelled after Mozart's Quintet K. 452, the piece showcases Beethoven's composing and pianistic prowess ... and Nicolas Namoradze's skill as a chamber musician!
