Today’s guest, Erik Smolinski, learned about investing at a young age. He was taught by a man he lovingly, refers to as his “stepdad,” and will always be grateful for his teachings. His motivation to learn was his mother, who raised him and his brother by herself. He wanted to make sure that he had a secure financial life ahead of him and also to be able to take care of his mother. Over the past 15 years he has become a derivatives trader, a Marine vet, and avid investor, which includes Angel Investing.
