The basics of being - Happiness

Sylvia Leifheit Season 6 Episode 33

What happens when we transform our perception of life? Can happiness truly be created from within? Following my near-death experience, I discovered profound truths about human existence that fundamentally altered how I perceive our reality and purpose.

The dual nature of happiness reveals itself when we look deeply - it exists both as external circumstances and as an internal state completely dependent on our perception. Most humans live in a self-created illusion of separation, forgetting their connection to the universal whole. This separation becomes the very obstacle preventing authentic happiness. The heart serves as our gateway back to wholeness, allowing energy to flow freely and transform our consciousness.

Consider the man who had everything yet experienced nothing but dissatisfaction. Despite material abundance, freedom, health, and loving relationships, his perception transformed every blessing into a burden. His city became "horrible," his job "terrible," his possessions quickly "boring." This wasn't reality but his chosen perception. The beauty of this realization? We can choose differently. Opening our eyes to the abundance already present requires no external change - only an internal shift in how we see.

What appears as "luck" - being in the right place at the right time - emerges from the interplay between your openness, trust, dedication, and the cosmic laws governing existence. The law of resonance ensures that others respond to the energy you project, creating connections that manifest as opportunities. None of these external forces can affect you without an open heart, nor can your internal impulses influence the world without this same openness.

Speaker 1:

Dear human being, beloved soul, I welcome you to my podcast series Conversations with the Universe. After a near-death experience, my perception of our human existence changed profoundly. I became more sensitive with all our known senses, I feel more intensely, see people with different eyes and often take a different perspective on life and our challenges. In my books I share these altered perspectives and all the knowledge that has flowed through me since my near death and thus recorded For all those who are searching for something more for the meaning of our existence here on Mother Earth, and it is now a great pleasure for me to share this knowledge with you in this way as a supplement to my books. This season, I'm dedicating myself to my very first work, the Basics of being. I wish you many wonderful insights on your path. Thank you, love.

Speaker 2:

First a quick note about my network, spine. This is short for the Spiritual Network, and is the first global social media network for holistic knowledge, awareness, spirituality and, above all, a bridge between providers and seekers. I invite you to join us and connect with me there. Feel free to look around, find lots of podcasts, events, healers, but, above all, lots of inspiration to grow. It's free. But now let's start with today's episode.

Speaker 2:

Happiness is a component that is strongly influenced by your free will. Here, too, it is an interplay of many factors that all work together simultaneously in the flow of life. However, we should make a clear and precise distinction. Happiness is two things. On the one hand, it is the sum of various successive positive impulses from outside. On the other hand, it is a feeling that depends on your decision as to how you perceive it. Let's look at the inner component. Let's first consider this feeling.

Speaker 2:

As you have already read several times here, humans have the talent to enter into an absolute illusion. They create it and decide whether they want to stay in it or not. In the illusion, they experience the separation of the individual and the forgetting of connectedness. Logically, this means that they can only experience happiness in this created illusion, in the way that their thoughts allow. But happiness is not a feeling that comes from outside you. It is within you, in absolute separation. You are, above all, separated from yourself, but what is separated can be connected, and this happens through our gateway, the heart. Happiness needs your heart to be open. So if you have strayed very far from your true potential, from who you really are, then opening your heart can be a small step in the direction of finding yourself, Because opening the gateway gets the flow going again and so much more is possible. When these energies are flowing Through this opening of the heart, what has been experienced up to now is transformed, ie converted. It is actually only the energy of the heart that can move consciousness and thereby permanently change your perception. Thus, a person who lives their life in a world of illusion always experiences a little more of the connectedness with the all one through the brief happy moments of opening their heart. You have free will and you have the power to direct it, so you just need to use it and decide to live your life as happily as possible, to experience it, to feel it. Our world of gross matter is furthest away from the source, although the source's influence reaches this far like the sun's rays into the entrance of a cave. It is still very cold there. There are people who live this separation from the source in complete unconsciousness, to such an extent that their perception is clouded, pale and restricted. Then abundance becomes scarcity, light becomes glare and the warm breath of life becomes a burden.

Speaker 2:

I once knew a person who lived his life in exactly such a state of displacement. He was well protected, healthy, had everything he thought he needed and wanted. He had a great job and could afford almost anything. He had a lot of freedom in his life and experienced almost no limits. He also had hobbies he could pursue and he had honest, loving friends. All in all, from the outside he had a very sheltered life. He lacked nothing.

Speaker 2:

Nevertheless, his days were weighed down by a feeling of dissatisfaction from morning to night. The city he lived in was, in his eyes, a horrible city. His job was a terrible job. The things he bought quickly lost their appeal and became boring. Freedom annoyed him. His hobbies were unsatisfying and his friends didn't offer him what he expected from them. He thought his wife was too fat, too boring and too stingy, and so he actually managed to experience this sheltered life as an exclusively terrible, boring and dreary existence.

Speaker 2:

Phrases like I have a terrible life were as much a part of his daily routine as breathing is to survival. Terrible life were as much a part of his daily routine as breathing is to survival. Yet it would have been so easy to see things differently. Where I live, I am safe no war, no hunger, no natural disasters. I am happy to be here. Having a job that pays well is a gift from God. Being able to buy what I want is a great gift from life. Freedom cannot be taken for granted and I am very grateful that I am able to experience it. I have hobbies that I enjoy and that are good for me. I have friends who enrich my life in their own way. Having a wife who loves me is worth more than all the money in the world. I am very grateful that I found her and don't have to be alone on this beautiful planet.

Speaker 2:

He had everything, but he only saw what he lacked. He only ever saw what he thought he was missing, not what he actually had. Such an experience of lack can be very draining because, as you know, the soul is an energy that is eager to learn, hungry for experience but, above all, seeking fulfilment. Thus, through this separation from himself, he entered a kind of energy vortex that pulled him deeper and deeper and in this depth which distanced him even further from himself, he felt even more strongly than before that his desires were not being fulfilled. He no longer even noticed when his desires were fulfilled and he did not recognize the beauty of his entire being.

Speaker 2:

This example clearly shows how easily and profoundly your perception influences your life and, as you know, perception is closely linked to your consciousness. If you are aware of yourself and all the connections between energies, you will see differently. When you open your eyes, it is light. When you close them, it is dark. When your eyes are closed, you experience darkness and with it a feeling of separation, but this disappears as soon as you open your eyes. This is a wonderful way to see what happens when we increasingly allow ourselves to be caught up in the illusion of being separate. Open your eyes, look at yourself, look inside yourself, find everything that you truly are and live it. Become the person you are.

Speaker 2:

It takes only one small decision to finally acknowledge and see the beauty and gifts that life has given you so far. Only you decide whether you want to feel abundance instead of lack. It only takes a single strong impulse within you to break out of this vicious circle of deprivation. Only you alone can give this impulse even more power at any time. But you have to do it yourself. No one else can do it for you. Nothing and no one outside of you can bring you happiness.

Speaker 2:

You experience happiness exclusively through your perception. You experience happiness exclusively through your perception and in doing so you experience a return to yourself, to your connection with yourself. Do you think your soul needs so many bags, shoes, cars or houses? Certainly not, because the soul seeks fulfillment. But you can only experience this abundance within yourself. So look inside and transform your perception. But you can only experience this abundance within yourself. So look inside and transform your perception. The beauty of fulfillment is that you can create it yourself. Although embedded in all the laws at work, you are the creator, the builder of this creation. Let's summarize being happy means having opened yourself up. Opening yourself up is part of the transformation of your perception. Transforming perception is a form of consciousness expansion. And now for the external component, and now for the happiness that comes from the interaction of external components.

Speaker 2:

I am not talking here about the feeling of being happy, but about what others call luck, when a person encounters extraordinary opportunities, extraordinary in the sense that they are rare, but nevertheless usually life-changing. We are talking here about impulses that, through the sum of various factors, have such a concentrated effect that they can bring about, create something special in our world. And since we are firmly bound to space and time here, the interaction of all these impulses is also bound to space and time. It is an interplay between your openness, your trust, your dedication and your free will and, building on that, your decisions, but also your current level of consciousness and the laws of the worlds. It is also a result of the law of resonance, which states that people give back impulses that respond to you and your being.

Speaker 2:

First, openness allows you to perceive what happens to you, unfiltered by the ego, and through your connection with everything, to make the right decisions. At the same time, other people are involved in action and reaction through the impulses they send out, and these impulses are received by your system, which follows the flow of life Over a period of time. This leads to a bundling or concentration of all these interacting and influencing components. This causes these people, circumstances and conditions to come together in the material world, sometimes faster, sometimes slower, sometimes more clearly, sometimes less clearly. Then, for example, you are in the right place at the right time. The resonance fields of others have made so many decisions based on the impulses that they resonate with you and your decisions at a very special moment. That is where encounters begin and that is also where the opportunities of such encounters begin, whether they are professional or private. It is an interplay of many components, but the decisive factor is your openness.

Speaker 2:

No impulse from anyone can have an effect if you do not perceive it and, conversely, no impulse can have an effect from within you if you do not send it out with an open heart. The heart is the gateway to the worlds and thus to yourself. It is the powerhouse of your will. It is the catalyst of your actions. So, to sum up, happy circumstances are an interplay of many cosmic laws and circumstances. They are not coincidences or miracles, but a logical conclusion of cosmic circumstances.
