The basics of Being - The 7th Key - Tolerance and Acceptance

Sylvia Leifheit Season 6 Episode 44

What if wisdom begins the moment you stop asking life to pay you back? We open the door to the Seventh Key—tolerance and acceptance—and trace how a near-death experience reshaped our view of giving, respect, and the quiet power of resonance. Rather than measuring worth by applause or speed, we look at how action from the heart moves through the world on its own time, gathering the right people and possibilities without pressure.

We talk about the myth that every act must be balanced by immediate return, and why balance is a cosmic law we live within, not a spreadsheet we manage. That shift frees us from the weight of calculation. From there, we move into the practice of non-judgement: honouring different histories, goals, and paces without elevating ourselves. Respect becomes both compass and boundary—an ethic that helps us choose relationships where dignity is mutual and freedom can breathe. Expect less, notice more: that is how alignment replaces frustration.

A simple forest clearing becomes our shared metaphor for acceptance. Conifers, saplings, shrubs, and grass each express the same source through different forms. No one demands that grass become a pine, and no pine resents grass for being low and light. When we respond to what is, rather than to what we wish were true, our choices grow cleaner, kinder, and more effective. Every impulse resonates, sometimes here, sometimes elsewhere, which makes attention a responsibility, not a burden. If you’re ready to trade scorekeeping for presence, and judgement for wise response, this conversation offers calm, practical footing on the path of consciousness and spiritual growth.

If this landed with you, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a review. Your reflections help the right people find us and deepen the resonance we’re building together.

SPEAKER_00:

Dear human being, beloved soul, I welcome you to my podcast series, Conversations with the Universe. After a near-death experience, my perception of our human existence changed profoundly. I became more sensitive with all our known senses. I feel more intensely, see people with different eyes, and often take a different perspective on life and our challenges. In my books, I share these altered perspectives and all the knowledge that has flowed through me since my near death and thus record it. For all those who are searching for something more, for the meaning of our existence here on Mother Earth. And it is now a great pleasure for me to share this knowledge with you in this way as a supplement to my books. This season I am dedicating myself to my very first work, The Basics of Being. I wish you many wonderful insights on your path. Thank you. Love. First, a quick note about my network, Spine. This is short for the Spiritual Network, and is the first global social media network for holistic knowledge, awareness, spirituality, and above all, a bridge between providers and seekers. I invite you to join us and connect with me there. Feel free to look around, find lots of podcasts, events, healers, but above all, lots of inspiration to grow. It's free. But now let's start with today's episode. Tolerance and acceptance, the key to wisdom. The seventh key teaches you to move forward without judgment. Anyone who has come this far has already achieved a great deal. Your consciousness has already changed to such an extent that you view the world with knowing eyes. You have reflected, you have communicated, you have begun to shape, you have recognized the constant power of the source in your heart and learned to use it. From this changed perspective, you now find that you can no longer understand other people's ways and actions. But the seventh key is the key of respect and tolerance towards others. It teaches you not to judge these people who have a different history and a different path than you. The knowledge and experiences you have gathered during all this time have shaped and expanded your consciousness. You now stand on a different level with your consciousness and view the world with different eyes from this new standpoint. But not all people follow the same path, because not all people have the same goals. That is why the seventh key is a call to your soul not to elevate yourself above others, despite all you have learned and experienced. Never judge why other people have taken a different path and do not think and feel the same way you do. Do not judge whether they ever will. They have a different path, a different history, and that must be respected. Be who you are, but do not judge others. The seventh key is also meant to make you aware that you should always treat everything and everyone with the open respect of a conscious being, without arrogance and without ignorance, love unconditionally, without expectations, because only a loving heart can give unconditionally, because it allows the infinite power of connection to flow through it and lives it. The laws work together in such a way that everything that is given and loved unconditionally has a powerful positive effect. Only the consciousness of the individual determines how we feel. And based on this knowledge, our entire view and our entire perception of this world changes with our consciousness. It is a widespread misconception that giving must always be balanced with taking. The wheel of being teaches us that balance is an essential cosmic law, but this balance is not controlled by us. We are bound by these laws, but we do not control them. Ultimately, it is important to accept this and thereby become more flexible in our consciousness. A consciousness that demands nothing for being and is therefore not stuck in such expectations. Everything you do should come from your heart. And as you have experienced, the energy of the heart is not a demanding, expecting energy, but a state that is simply. Remember this energy, the connection, the power of the source that expects or demands nothing for its constant giving. Do what you want to do from your heart, but expect nothing in return. From no one and from nothing. Ever. The world will love and respect what you do when the time is right, not when and if you expect or demand it. Even though this path requires a great deal of patience, in the end your actions will have created a resonance. Because one thing is certain in this matter. Every single impulse will resonate with the energies of the cosmos. Every action produces a reaction, and this in turn produces another action. It is just often a question of time. Many a genius who set grandiose impulses full of dedication and passion during their lifetime did not experience the reward for these impulses on this earthly plane, but only in another. Knowing that other worlds exist helps you not to expect that you will experience the resonance of your actions exclusively on this plane, and it trains your attention, because knowing that every impulse is answered with a reaction, and that this does not necessarily have to happen in this life, makes you more alert, but above all more responsible in your actions in the present. A soul wants to experience giving, how it feels, what it does to you and others, and not giving out of calculation. That would be typical of an ego consciousness that thinks that way, but not of the consciousness of your soul energy. Do not expect others to recognize you, to appreciate you and your work. The law of resonance will bring together people who belong together and can grow in harmony. Trust in this and keep your heart open. It will show you the people who match you. Don't expect others to think and feel the same way you do. They have a different history, different motivations, and completely different goals. Respect this and give them the space they deserve. But don't expect other people to respect you for who you are. Instead, recognize when this happens and seek out only those people in your life who respect you for your differences. Because only respect gives you the freedom to truly be yourself. And only when you are truly free can you be happy. Don't expect anything from anything or anyone, but be alert to the energies you encounter and avoid hurt. Visualization. To give you a picture of the true diversity of being, I would like to draw your attention to a forest clearing. Whenever you can walk in nature, try to focus your awareness entirely on the diversity of these forms. You will discover large, strong conifers, as well as delicate, smaller conifers. You will find deciduous trees that bear more leaves and others that bear fewer leaves. Some have long, towering trunks, others thick and short, and still others long and thick trunks. You will discover bushes and you will recognise the grass and many other smaller plants in the thicket of the meadow in front of the forest. And so much more. It is the same with the diversity of people, and yet they are all part of nature, part of the whole, part of the source that brings forth their forms, and because the cause is one and the same, there can be no judgment of the individual, nor any expectation of him. Expecting a blade of grass to become a strong conifer cannot be right and requires acceptance of what really is, as well as not expecting what is impossible. At the same time, the grass must not insult or even fight the conifer for being so strong and tall, and must practice tolerance in this way. That is how it is, and how it will always be. Recognize what really is and react accordingly, with dignity and respect, but never with the intention of destroying it. I summarise. Nothing remains unanswered in the sea of energy, so pay attention to your question. Remain fully attentive while giving and trust. Then you are connected and carried by the flow of being. Calculating where it will take you makes your consciousness leaden and heavy until you become a stone. Do not judge, but react. Do not expect anything but be. Accept the laws and act. Know, but do not judge. Thank you again for listening. Karpe Vitam sees the day. Thank you. Love. Thank you very much for listening, and I would like to remind you to join our community spine.
