It was only when Jodi started truly walking with Jesus that she realized that the Lord's prayer was a scripture that she had memorized and didn't even realize it.
During Jesus's final days his disciples would come to him and say "Rabbi show us how to pray"! It was this beautiful, compact prayer that shows how we can connect to God and center our spirit and prayer.
Our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. They kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day Lord our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses. As we forgive those who trespassed against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
