The Right Side with Doug Billings. Hi, everybody. Welcome to the Right Side. A special report today. Trump has fired Pam Bondi, and it's the tough call that America needed for real lasting justice. So um, hello, America. Hello, world. Uh, Doug Billings here. Special edition, the right side, the show that delivers to you the no-spin behind the headlines analysis that you won't get anywhere else. In a world of clickbait, this is the truth. So be sure to like, follow, subscribe, and share this episode because it contains the truth that you don't get anywhere else. President Trump has fired, Attorney General Pam Bondi. Now let me be crystal clear right up front. The way only the right side does it. President Trump made the right call. And it it this was not some quiet resignation, ladies and gentlemen. It wasn't a voluntary transition. Multiple senior sources confirm that it was a straight-up firing, driven by frustration over the pace of key priorities and the handling of sensitive files, including the Epstein documents that became a political lightning rod for Pam. Trump framed it graciously on Truth Social, and he said this, and I quote, We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector to be announced at a date in the near future. Okay, so that private sector landing spot, that's the classic escape hatch. It's a face-saving way out so a loyal soldier isn't left twisting in the wind. Okay, so but make no mistake, Trump pulled the trigger because the results matter, and results matter more than loyalty when the Department of Justice has to deliver ironclad, appeals-proof convictions against the real enemies of the American people. Now, some grassroots patriots out there are already fired up, and I get it, but let's cut through the emotion with the common sense, historically grounded analysis that defines this moment and this program. I have long told you on the right side that credible justice, the kind that survives appeals and sticks in court and gives us lasting convictions and puts powerful people behind bars for good, it all takes time, a lot of time. You don't rush tier one cases against former presidents, CIA directors, or FBI heads and expect them to hold up. Remember, the radical left threw nothing but fiction at President Trump and his inner circle and Trump's family, and none of it stuck. We don't want that. And President Trump knows this. He's demanding speed without sacrificing strength. And today's move is proof that he's not going to tolerate anything less. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche is stepping in as acting attorney general. Now, some of you in the audience have expressed real concerns about him, and I don't blame you. You see him as a too tied to certain past legal circles or not aggressive enough for the fight that we have ahead. All of those are fair points. The right side won't sugarcoat any of that, but he's the strategic reality right now. Blanche is a known quantity to Trump. He's a former defense lawyer, he's been a loyal guy in the trenches. So that matters when you're in Trump's inner circle. It's an interim bridge to keep the Department of Justice moving without missing a beat while a permanent replacement is vetted and then confirmed. Now, here's the law on how long Blanche can serve. Under the Federal Vacancies Reform Act, an acting officer like Blanche can serve for up to 210 days. So that's roughly seven months in case you're from Raytown, Missouri. And they can get extensions if they want, up to 300 days in total, but that's usually only during a presidential transition period. Plus, then you've got the full pendency of any Senate nomination coming up. So the bottom line is he's got time, but he doesn't have forever. President Trump and the Senate need to move a permanent nominee forward, and I think strategically, especially within this midterm election season that's heating up later this year. Timing strategy matters. The smartest play, I think you'll find out, get a strong nominee named and get hearings underway before August, because there's a recess coming up in August. We've got to get this done before then, if it's possible. Confirm before the heat of campaign season so that Democrats can't turn the process into pure election year theater. Rush it too fast, though, when we risk a weak confirmation fight, and if we drag it too long, the acting label starts to look permanent. So it's a balancing act to a degree. Trump excels at this kind of timing. So watch how he threads the needle to keep the momentum on the American first justice scene. Now, while we wait, let's talk about the bigger picture that you've heard me emphasize for years. Patience on the Tier One cases. Ladies and gentlemen, Barack Obama, John Brennan, Christopher Ray, Susan Rice, and more. There are others, to be sure. These aren't street level crooks that you indict on a Friday and convict on a Monday. I know. Well, but Doug, we've had these cases. We've known what they've done for years. I know. Right. But we haven't had our team in its entirety working on this. We've seen it for years, yes, but the deep state's been in the way and not in charge, and we've not been in charge. So I'm talking about potential deep state abuses of power that require airtight evidence and multi-year paper trails, rock solid witnesses and depositions who are who are not going to crack under cross-examination. And to that list, we can add James Comey, Anthony Fauci, and even Hillary Clinton, figures whose actions have haunted this country for years. So I'm with you. I get the frustration, but there's got to be a plan. And the plan has got to include, to a degree, patience. Credible justice really demands that we build cases that stick, not headlines and fiction that will fade. President Trump firing Bondi is not a sign of weakness or delay. It's a signal. It's a signal that he's accelerating in the right way by demanding the kind of aggressive results-oriented leadership that finally delivers those lasting convictions. So this move sends shockwaves, obviously, through the bureaucracy. The permanent Washington establishment just got reminded Trump will not tolerate slow walking or half-measures when it comes to draining the swamp. The effects on the state of play in America are huge. Americans who've been watching the two-tiered justice system for years now see a president willing to clean house at the very top in order to restore equal protection under the law. That's huge. And the markets and our allies, they see American leadership that demands competence. And the deep state players who thought that they were untouchable, well, they just got a very public wake-up call. The right side has always said that we don't do despair over here. We do determination, determined patriotism. This is President Trump being the fighter who you voted for. Decisive, unapologetic, and laser focused on delivering the justice the American people have waited years to see. No more excuses, no more slow rolls, real results or real consequences. Now, be prepared to watch the usual clickbait artists out there show up and say, I showed you, I said we should have done this a long time ago. Just shows the proof, it proves to show you that Trump is weak and he's hijacked and he's compromised. Those right away, when they when you see and read those kinds of things, you know that those are the people from whom you need to detach. Who should Trump then tap for the permanent attorney general slot? Well, I mean, I've got my five, my top five list, and I've got them ranked by who I believe would hit the ground running with the fire and legal firepower that this moment really requires. First on my list is Andrew Bailey of Missouri. Uh he's been a bulldog on election integrity, parental rights, going after big tech and big pharma, tough, principled. He's already battle tested in the trenches. He's a Missouri boy, like me. So he's number one. Then you've got Ken Paxton of Texas. Uh maybe to some an outside choice, but a proven warrior, you can't deny it, who's sued the Biden administration more times than most attorney generals have had hot lunches, right? He knows how to win in court. He's not afraid of the swamp. He can get things done. Then you've got Matt Whittaker. He's a former acting attorney general who already knows the building inside and out, and he's got Trump's trust from day one. Next, Jeff Clark. He's the man who's ready to fight the 2020 election cases from inside the Department of Justice, fearless and unafraid to challenge the establishment. And then Ashley Moody of Florida. She's a rock solid conservative who's delivered on crime, immigration enforcement, and protecting kids from radical ideology. So any one of those would be a massive upgrade in aggression and in results. Trump's going to pick the fighter who best fits the moment, and the right side will be right here, breaking it down the second that he does. Every patriot out there who's been patient with me on these big cases, stay the course. Stay the course. President Trump just proved that he's listening. He's demanding excellence, and he's willing to make the tough calls to get it. It might not all happen in the time frame that we wish, but he's getting it done. This is not chaos, by the way. This is leadership. The left and some of us who are some of those of us who are in the right side who are the clickbait artists, they will try to convince us that it's chaos. Folks, it's leadership. And the right side exists to help you see that these moves clearly with common sense and with historical perspective, and with, I mean, unshakable pride in what America can be when we finally get real justice. This is the path forward. So please share this episode far and wide. Hit the like button, subscribe, set your notifications so that you get notified every time I drop content.
