Speaker 3:

side hustle, pilot podcast. I am so excited for this brand new show. This first episode of the side hustle, pilot podcast. What exactly is this about? And I can tell you, this is about you. This is about helping you understand how important it is for you to develop a side hustle or businesses or passive income outside of your current place of employment. Look like you. I love flying airplanes and maybe some of you don't fly airplanes, but I love flying airplanes just as much as most of you. And at the end of the day, we do it because we love it. At least most of us, but putting our security in our lifestyle and the things that we really love in the hands of somebody else that can make a decision at a moment's notice. Isn't the best way to live our lives. Even if we're getting paid a lot of money to do it. Like most airline pilots are when I lost my job at FedEx. And I'm going to explain that a little bit later, I had a big epiphany. I had a big realization and that's when I promised myself, I told myself, you know what, no matter what the situation is, I am never going to place my life, my lifestyle, my family's future in the hands of somebody else that at a moments notice can take everything that I ever dreamed of away. They don't deserve it. You don't deserve it. So that's why it's so important for you to establish yourself outside of your current dream job or place of employment, you and your family deserve that type of security. So what is this podcast about? Then we're going to bring you some amazing value in the areas of interviews. We're going to inspire you. My whole purpose for this podcast is to reignite that entrepreneur inside of you, to give you ideas that you've never thought of before, to help you understand how your just one side hustle away from creating the lifestyle that you deserve. And I hope that you can have such an impact in your life that you're going to question whether or not you really want to fly airplanes because you have to. At the end of the day, I hope you fly airplanes because it's fun. Not because you need to through one of my other companies ready, set, takeoff.com and otherwise known as RST. We've been able to, we've been able to work with over 10,000 pilots. It's been an amazing journey. It's been incredible. Being able to talk to you guys over the phone, and I've had many conversations with you guys. You guys have called me up or sent me a Facebook message, ask me, Hey, I've got the ability to work for Delta and, and FedEx. Where should I go? And I've helped you through that process have coached you through just being able to think through some of these things. And for many of you here we are again, but it's not because you're trying to land your dream job. It's because all of a sudden that dream job that you had has been threatened. And now you may not even have it, or you may be furloughed. And some of you guys are really worried. And I want to say, it's going to be okay. I'm going to give you at the end of this three actionable steps, things that you could do at the end of this podcast or throughout this podcast that will set you up for success. Look, guys, we are on a journey together. And once again, I'm here, like your coach consider this like a flight that we're going on and I'm sitting in the left seat and I'm the captain look, I have, thankfully I've had so many side hustles that I've been able to build successful businesses that I'm able to coach people in the same way. I coach them for interviews. We've been blessed to be able to create seven figure incomes. And when I say we it's me and my family, because I consider them in this process, but just like somebody who's sitting in the right seat, I expect you to be coachable. I expect you to quickly start looking at what I'm doing and what I'm showing you and my goal for you. It's a true quickly gonna upgrade to the left seat. And you're going to be the captain in your life when it comes to being able to control your security and wealth in the future for you and your family. And when you get there, my hope for you is that you're going to look over to the right seat again, and then you're going to see that person sitting there next to you. And you're going to bring them over to the left seat, through the processes and the success paths that you have so that we could help each other. My story, it's a little different. I've been a, what I call and many people call a serial entrepreneur. I've been an entrepreneur a lot longer than I've been a pilot. See, I grew up in Panama and central America and a third world country, which is so different than, than the United States. And my first, I was about eight years old. And I remember as an eight year old, just thinking to myself, I want to be able to make my own money. I don't want to have to ask my parents for money. So I started what, and I started what was a eight icy business or a frozen like Popsicle business, where I used to ask my dad to take me to the, the fresh fruit markets in Panama. And we used to go gather the coconuts and the pineapples and all the different, fresh fruit. And we'd go back to the house. And my dad, who was like my biggest coach in all of this and my biggest fan, he would help me. We would stick all these fresh fruits and the blenders and blend them up and add sugar and all this other stuff. And then we would put them in these little cups that we would buy Jerome in the freezer and freeze them up. And then I let everybody in the community know that we were open and we had the freshest, uh, frozen ICS, um, in town and the word spread like wildfire. All of a sudden we had kids every single day, 10 to 15 to 20 times a day, knock it on the door for a 25 cent frozen cup of fresh fruit juice. It didn't stop there. I went from there and then my grandfather who lived in the United States, I asked him to start shipping me some of the candy that that was sold in the United States at Sam's club. And those were like the jolly ranchers and in the red cinnamon, like fireballs and all that other stuff. And I was the only kid in town at about eight, nine years old that had this type of candy. It was a hot commodity, and I was selling it in school at my house. And my dad made me a little stand on the side of the road. And I was literally running around like a drug dealer with all these wads of cash of dollar bills and coins in my pockets, selling candy, like a drug dealer sells, whatever it is that they sell. I took it a step further and I grabbed my skateboard in a cardboard box and it was a nice sized box. And I taped it to the bottom of the skateboard. And I put a cooler in there with all the frozen cups. And I knew that if I could take it further out in the community, I could make a little more money. And so I then put my friend inside of the box, so he could hand out the frozen, uh, uh, fresh cups of, uh, fruit. And I had a empty paint can that had the little ball in it. And I would shake it around like a bell. And we were selling these bad boys all over town. I thought it was a great product. Maybe people were buying it because they felt sorry for me either way. It didn't matter. And it was at that point that I was hooked. It was at that point when I realized that I could control the amount of money I could make based on the effort. And based on the ideas that I'm able to think about that is the amazing part about you in me is that we have the ability to create our future. I was recently reading a book from Robert Colyer and one of the things that he said that really struck, and he said, there's nothing that exists in the form of matter. Think about this, nothing that exists in the form of matter, that was not thought of in somebody else's mind, or wasn't part of a thought process on this earth. There is nothing that exists in the form of matter that has been created, that wasn't once a thought process. And the amazing part about it is that we have that same ability to bring things, uh, to manifest the things that we dream about the things that we want to create so that we could bring it into this world and then successfully be able to, to reap a harvest from that process. That's exactly what we can do as entrepreneurs. My dad then taught me how to use a little scroll saw and he would buy me these pieces of wood. And then I started carving people's names at school, into this piece of wood and painted them. And then all of a sudden, everybody in the classroom wanted their names on their desks. And I started another business. And then people started taking orders for their friends and their cousins and all that. I love the ability to create something out of nothing. We have that ability, and that is what makes us special as entrepreneurs. When I had the chance, I'd go to the library and I'd start reading books on entrepreneurship as a 10 to 12 year old kid. And I would read as much as I could. And I picked up a book, look, I'm just going to miss something. Um, if I could remember if there's ever been a time in my life that I've ever stolen something, and look, I look, I'm not proud of this, but I remember reading a book and, and I still have it today. Cause when, when, I mean, I stole it, I never returned it back to the library. And it was the book called the art of the deal by Donald Trump. All right, look, let's not get into politics, whether you like them or not. It has nothing to do with this has to do with the fact that this is exactly what happened in my life. So the art of the deal was a book that I picked up and read. And I fell in love with that. That book was in Panama of all of all things. So I fell in love with this idea that people could make money off real estate and it completely opened a whole different part of my mind. And then when I used to do as a little kid, cause I didn't grow up with money, but what I used to do is I used to get on this, uh, an adult 10 speed bike. And I would, I would start riding my bike as far as I could away from my neighborhood. And then I would go into the affluent neighborhood and I start looking at all the big houses and I start riding my bike along the big houses, just to take a look at them cause I wanted to be inspired. And I used to tell myself, as I used to ride this bike, like I'm going to do that. Like I want to know what they're doing, but that is going to be my life. I want to be successful. And then I started surrounding myself with, I used to hang out with, um, even though I didn't grow up with money, I'm a lot of my friends, their parents own businesses. And I started hanging out with them and, and, and wanting to learn about their parents and what they did. And I was intrigued the things that the adults were doing more than what the kids were really wanting to talk about. It was a funny thing. Then when we come to the United States, I would beg my father. Like we would go to the store and pick up all the real estate magazines and all that stuff. And I begged them to, Hey, let's go look at houses and let's go look at the ones that have the, for sale signs on it. I would try to convince my dad that look, Hey, we need to buy this. Had he listened? He'd had millions of dollars because in Miami, where we used to go to, and those houses were selling for like 150,000. They're now eight to 900,000 in the same neighborhood is kind of crazy. If you think about it. When I was 18 years old, I moved up to the United States by myself. I literally had a, uh, a suitcase, nothing more than a suitcase. I immediately got three or four jobs and try to work as much as I could and enrolled at the university of central Florida. And then I met some friends and we started hanging out and there's this one guy that really caught my attention. We were all hanging out in, in one of, uh, one of my friend's apartments. And I could remember he always had this laptop with him and he would put it on the coffee table and everybody else were all college students. This guy drove a really nice Jeep. And, and he was the only guy that dropped out of college. When I asked him, he's like, yeah, I dropped out of college and my parents are furious with me. And that caught my attention. And I said, what are you doing? He says, man, I run a, I run an online business. I I'm actually, I started a web hosting business. This was back in the early, um, in the late nineties before the, you had the GoDaddys and all that other stuff. He had started one of the first, um, a web host and businesses. And I could remember sitting there in the apartment and he worked less than everybody else there. And, and we all thought we were smart. Cause we're going to college. He had dropped out of college and in the eyes of everyone else, he was like the dumbest guy there, but nobody really was paying attention. What he was doing. This guy literally quit college because he knew there was a better way and he was doing it. He was literally, I can remember him sitting there in the living room and watch him, the orders pop up on that laptop hour after hour after hour. And this guy was making money doing nothing but sitting there and making sure that his processes were working the way that they were supposed to. And he was hanging out with everybody and everybody else was working their rear end off. But he was the only one that had dropped out of college. I remember telling myself that this, this is the way in the United States, like to be able to make money online and to do it passively is the smarter way to do it because what I noticed very quickly as while my time was being eaten up by four jobs and I didn't have any freedom, this, this guy at as much freedom as he is, he wanted, and he was making more than everyone else. And that is where I got the bug to really kind of dive deep into being able to create passive income online. So I started learning that process. And in that time I pretty much ran out of money and I was having to pay for my own college. And so since I ran out of money, I made the decision that, you know, what I want to serve this amazing country. And so I joined the army and I joined the army in, in the one position in the army, even though I've always wanted to fire planes, I grew up wanting to fly airplanes and, and wanting to be a pilot in the military and an airline pilot. I, uh, I joined the army because that was the only service at the moment that was willing to give me the money that I needed in order to pay for my college and everything that I needed at that time. And the one position was a cook. And, but I told myself, I know this is not really the path to become a pilot, but if I just focus and if I just kind of do what needs to be done, I could go from pots and pans to fly in airplanes. And thankfully I was able to accomplish that and do that. But in between that time after the army, I got married while in college and, and then started selling insurance and I had a little dental insurance business. And then, uh, we had, I created a business to collect in and Florida, everybody lives in an apartment in the college town. So I created a business that ultimately failed. It would go and pick up trash from, uh, from, uh, people's apartment, um, doorsteps so that they wouldn't have to take it to the, um, the big old trash compactor. And so we try to bed and do all that, that failed. And so it's been failure after failure after failure, but it's all been part of a great learning process. Then I got picked up to join the Mississippi air national guard. And that was an incredible experience, spent the first eight years, um, doing some incredible flying the[inaudible], uh, we were doing the air evacuation mission. And during that whole time, at the beginning of pilot training, I started my own web host in business as well, based off of what I learned from that guy, that's exactly what I wanted to do. And I started it while I was at pilot training. And then when I got off pilot training, I noticed very quickly that because I was on orders, the orders could end and I didn't have a real job. And so I said, you know what? I need to learn and start making money while sitting in the cockpit. So I literally bought a Mac computer. I bought Photoshop and I bought InDesign and all these different softwares. And I would go into my room, I'd look at YouTube. And I taught myself how to design. And I quickly watched a magazine called what's around town, which literally was like the news for the local town. And we would host contests and we had three different cities that we would have this magazine and it was doing incredible. But, you know, I quickly realized that people weren't wanting to pay for advertisements in that magazine. And they were moving towards Facebook. And I made a shift from there, shut the magazine down and shifted to a, starting a social media ad agency called socially alive. And we were managing the Facebook accounts for like GMC and all these other big corporations in the local town. And then the orders ended. And I find myself for the very first time, not having a full time job having these smaller businesses. And so immediately I knew for me, like I've always been used to hustling that I I've always known that if I would put the effort into it, that I could, I could make money, that I could print my own money based off of my ability to create the opportunity and my effort. And you have that ability to do that too. All it takes for his effort and dispel and all the false beliefs you have about the ability to create an income and wealth outside of a job. And so of all things, because of my experience, I was a cook in the army. I had a passion for it. I loved it. Uh, or I learned to love it. I started a food truck company called Tito's tacos and that I, that was an incredible opportunity, but I quit flying airplanes full time too. I ended up being in the Northeast part of Jackson, Mississippi, if you, if you know anything about Mississippi, when I first applied for the unit and got a job there, I didn't realize what I was getting into. It is like the fourth, uh, it's ranked like the top four places, as far as the murder capital. I mean, it's not, it's not a great place necessarily to, to be. And you know, it depends on the area, but we ended up launching a food truck in Northeast Jackson, Mississippi in a place where people said you don't want to be there. Uh, and it ended up being extremely successful and it taught me how to manage social media and how to grow a tribe and, and all these things. That is how that has helped me essentially with ready, set takeoff and, and the processes that we use, uh, in order to do what we do. I can remember sitting there handing tacos out the window at 10 o'clock at night and asking myself and saying, God, how did I go from flying a$270 million airplane, the sophisticated piece of equipment to handing out tacos and asking people, would you like some more sour cream with that? It was humbling, but I tell you what, as an entrepreneur, it was an amazing experience. And we w that little food truck ended up making over$200,000, but it was a lot of work. I literally worked 16 hour days, six days a week, and my family would come visit me wherever that food truck was, excuse me, was in order to dinner many times. And so in order for me to see my kids, but I did whatever needed to be done in order to feed my family and to continue to press board. And between all this time, since 2012, I started creating the ready set takeoff platform. And it came because I understood my own inner struggles. I understood that, you know, when it comes to tests, um, I mean, I, wasn't always the smartest person. Um, and I've struggled in certain areas. And I started seeing how people in my squadron were preparing for the Delta airline interview process. And I immediately told myself that, you know what, we can't leave this up to chance something has to be done. And it became my obligation to help others in order to help them get to where they want it to get to. For me, I knew what it was like to be able to land the job of my dream at the Mississippi national garden and how rewarding that was. And it was only one step above that to say, you know what? I remember the struggle because you know what, I, I wasn't able to get into the active duty part of flying airplanes, because I was told that my scores weren't high enough and I pressed hard enough and was able to get into the garden. But I remember clearly that struggle would be being told you're not good enough. And I didn't want that to happen to people when it came to landing a job or trying to compete for a job at Delta, to me, it was personal. So it became an obligation to help others do exactly what I was able to accomplish and land my dream of flying airplanes for the air national guard. And then eventually it would help me also prepare, um, for that, uh, process later on. So that's where ready set takeoff came out of it came out of not, uh, you know, came out of a personal need and desire, but also an obligation to help others because that's exactly what I wanted to do. And so I landed a job with Atlas loved it flew the seven 47 for two years. It was an incredible job. And then shortly after that, I got an interview with ups and then was put in the pool. And like a week later at a nowhere, FedEx called me up. And then I landed the job of my dream at FedEx find the MD 11. It was an incredible, incredible, uh, opportunity. And I loved every second of it. And then on March 23rd, 2017, I remember us flying back from Boston, with a captain at flown with several times. And it was a, it was an incredible night man. We're making we're about an hour out from Memphis and we're sitting there flying and like we all do, you know, we sit around and talk. And the, the topic of literally the, the, uh, the conversation that we're having was we were just talking about how blessed we were, how incredible FedEx was and how happy we were knew how good we had it to be, where we were at. It was a very awesome conversation. And, and he was trying to coach me on, Hey, when you get to this point. And, and when this happens, if you want to learn more about schedule and, and it was incredible, and it was my landing that night. Um, and I remember I, the MD 11 is a hard airplane to master, and I remember greased the landing for the very first time. I literally, you know, I'd been there almost, I dunno, it was almost a year, but I'd finally felt like I had mastered that ability to fly that airplane. And part of the reason why, you know, is I was, I had an incredible schedule. I literally flew probably three times a month. I think I, in a year's period, I flew about 130 hours. Think about that. That was an amazing job. I flew with 130 hours and one year's period, a one, one year period of time. And I average about three to four days of work a month. And so I landed that airplane and I had this huge smile on my face, and I felt like I was on top of the world. And I remember getting off the crew bus and all of a sudden somebody stops me and they're like, they're in a suit and tie. And they said, are you such and such? And I said, yes, sir, that's me. And they handed me an envelope. He said, Hey, uh, I don't know what's in this envelope, but I was personally told to hand, deliver this to you. The moment you got off the crew bus. And I think you need to call the union. And so I did, and I opened up that envelope and I tell you, my heart just sank. The words that I was reading literally said that I had to show up to a hearing within 14 hours in order to determine whether or not I was going to be continue to be employed with the company. And at that moment, everything just came crashing down in the weight of the world was upon me. And I can tell you, the first thing I thought is, Oh my God, what is going on? And they referenced the ready set takeoff business. And the first words out of my mouth was, um, what have I done to my family? So I immediately call the union and then we'd set up an appointment didn't meet and all that other stuff. And then I drove home and the situation was, is that I had just moved to Memphis. I just moved my family there. We had just bought that major airline home, this 5,500 square foot home that I got a great deal on. And my kids were so happy to be there. And it was this incredible new life that we're creating. And my family wasn't even at that house because they were waiting for me to get home from that trip. And I was supposed to drive and join them. Cause we're going to do a family getaway and I got to the house and it was empty. And I'm telling you the heaviness that was on my heart. And I opened up the door and all of a sudden, nothing else mattered anymore. It was a beautiful house, but nothing mattered. I looked around and it was an empty house. And there's places in that house that still had boxes that were yet to be unpacked. And I slowly turning on the lights. And for some reason, I decided to walk in every bedroom. And I walked in all my kids' bedrooms and saw that little hand paintings that they had done, that they had just freshly put on the wall. And I could just think, and what in the world just happened, what's going to happen. And I called my wife up and I try to explain the hardest thing was the saying, honey, I think I'm gonna lose my job.[inaudible] it was probably one of the hardest things that I've had to do. And I remember just hearing her voice was like the sweetest thing. And she's like, don't worry, baby. I will be there where I'm going to grab the kids. I'm gonna pack them up and we're going to, we're going to drive to the house and I'm going to see you in just a little bit. It's going to be okay. The next day I showed up to the hearing and I knew immediately that it was over with that because I was a probationary pilot pilot. I was about a month shy of completing my probationary period. They had every right, um, to, uh, let me go. And at the end of the day, this is what it comes down to. You know, I don't hold them. I will no ill feelings against FedEx. FedEx was an incredible opportunity. Um, they had their expectations and their rules. And somehow I didn't completely understand that. And no matter what the, they, you know, no matter what the situation was, it was their company, their rules. And, and it was my job to understand that. And I failed to understand the gravity of the type of business that I was running and how we could affect, uh, my position there at the company. So, you know, I lost my job. I did, um, and regretfully. So I did cause I loved my job, but you know what? It's so K and that's, that's exactly why I'm so thankful that that I've always understood the importance of having a side hustle. And I've got multiple side hustles besides ready, set takeoff, uh, in real estate and different places, different websites. It's so important that we have that I can tell you that that time period wasn't easy. And one of the greatest sources of healing, cause I'm telling you, it was like somebody reached in and literally grabbed my heart and just ripped it out of my chest. And I remember walking around and people say, man, are you all right? And inside, all I could think about is look, man, all I could think about is I am just hurting so bad. I'm just hurting. I'm hurting. But externally I would tell her everything's good, man. Everything's good. But internally man, I was suffering. I remember that. So when I tell you, I know what you're going through, look, you may be losing your job. You may have lost your job or whatever the situation is. I know what you're going through. And that is why I'm so passionate about helping you get to that place where you can finally fly airplanes because it's fun and not because you have to. And that your sense of security and wealth has been built outside of the cockpit. Because look, we have learned with COVID-19 nine 11 and everything that this industry, the passion that we have, what we love most is so, so sensitive to change. And we owe it to our families to have something outside of this. I remember waking up, maybe it was like a week later and I heard the toilet flush and my wife just crying and I couldn't figure out what was going on. I know we were all going through a lot. So I figured, you know, me losing my job and all that other stuff. And she walked inside the bedroom and something hit my chest and it bounced off and she's crying as she walks out the door. The first thing she said was how's that for the next chapter in your book. And I picked it up and it was a pregnancy test and she was pregnant with our eighth child and she's went storming out of the room. And I remember sitting there feeling, Oh my God, I felt like the biggest. I felt like the biggest loser man. I felt like, man, I just let everybody in my life down that then became the source for me of the vet that became the source of the fire that I needed to put everything in full gear. And absolutely just not only propel my way out of the situation, but to make sure that we were never in that place again as a family, um, that our future would never be in the hands of anybody else because I don't ever want something to have that type of effect on the people that I love. If that wasn't enough, I quickly found myself in order to protect, ready, set, takeoff. The whole situation had to do with copyright a situation. I created the cognitive trainer and, and the, you know, it had to be, it had to do with copyright. And that was brought up to the attention of FedEx. And so I had to get into a legal battle in order to protect the company. And at the same time the union, I know I'll give FedEx the benefit of the doubt in this sense that I know. And the union try to let me know that, Hey, you know, if you willing to shut this thing down, you could probably keep your job. And I knew that if I shut the business down, I could keep my job. But by that time we had thousands and thousands of people that had signed up. And I couldn't just say, Hey, look from one day to the next, you can't prepare anymore. There were hundreds of people if thousands of people by then that were preparing for their interviews and that they were dependent upon the art platform in order to be successful. And I just could not do that, but I couldn't do it for another reason. I couldn't do it because I wasn't willing to give away or give up on that. I worked so hard to build. I just couldn't do it. But I know that if I did, I'd probably keep my job. So I find myself in the middle of this legal battle that took three years and over$300,000, um, that I paid in legal fees in order to fight, thankfully, I was able to fight it. I was able to pay for it. I was able to keep the business open because of the side hustle. The biggest part of the healing process was being able to help people like you land the job of your dreams. And I was forced to be happy for the same people that were getting the job that I had lost. And you would think that that would create some type of bitterness. But for me, it is what brought me out of the biggest pit that I've ever been in. And for that I'm grateful. I'm so grateful for the conversations that I had with you guys. I'm so grateful for the phone calls and the emails. Hey, are you all right? Where no, you, I mean, it was, if it wasn't for a lot of you guys that reached out and one of the hardest times of my life, I'd tell you, I don't know. I don't know how or where this would have went, but that's why I'm so passionate. That's why I'm so passionate about what I'm doing now, because there's a lot of you guys that reached out and one of the hardest times of my life and brought me through this. And so I've got an obligation because I know how money is made online. I know how these things work. I've got an obligation in my heart to help you guys not have to go through what I went through. Look, if you're going to get through this, here's one thing I told you, I was going to give you three actionable steps or three things that would help you get through this situation. One of the things that you have to do is adopt a different mentality. You've got to have a different mindset. Yes, you love flying airplanes, but when you adopt a mindset of knowing that, yeah, that's a great vehicle for me to fuel. Um, these other things in my life that are gonna set me free. You use that as a vehicle and not something that you depend upon, but having the whole mentality of look, I am ready for change. I am able to do these things. It doesn't matter what type of failures I've had. I can accomplish whatever it is I set my heart to. And I've got the mindset to do that. When you take the mentality or the identity of a side hustle entrepreneur, you will begin to see the change that you need to be successful. Do you remember that time when you were flying airplanes? Okay. There iwas a time where, you know, you would tell people, even before you got your private pilot license, you would tell people, you know what, I fly airplanes. And there was one day you made the decision in your heart and you said, you know what? I'm a pilot. When you identified yourself as a pilot, there was no turning back. When you made that decision in your mind that you were a pilot and not just the person flying airplanes, that is what has propelled you. That is what guaranteed your success and where you're at today. Because at some point you made the decision to adopt the identity. That is who you are and that's who you were going to be. And that's who you became. Same thing. When it comes to being a successful entrepreneur, the moment you adopt the identity of who you are and adopt this idea of being successful outside of the cockpit, you will be successful. The next thing or the second thing that you need to do is be hungry. Be ready to acquire the knowledge, okay? The knowledge that you need in order to gain the strategy and the tactics to quickly start replacing your income because they are there. There's so many, there's, there's, there's so many different ways you can make money on online, that it will blow your mind away. I'm going to introduce you to a company that is selling t-shirts to thespians, okay? That is making over$400,000 in sales. And it's a very easy process and they're not even printing their own t-shirts. As long as you gain the right knowledge in the same way that you gained all the knowledge to become the professional you are today, and you put that same effort, you will be able to do anything that you set your mind to do. You're going to need to learn some new skill sets, but more than anything, I'm going to teach you that the greatest role that you're going to play is not the one that has all of the, the knowledge, but you're the person that's should have most of the ideas. And then I'll teach you how to find the whos or the individuals who know what to do with the ideas that you have. Look, ready, set, take off. I've got, I've got programmers. I didn't program anything myself. I've got software engineers. I didn't do any of that. Myself. My job is to be the idea guy, to have enough knowledge, to be dangerous, but then to know the people that, that are better at it, who are the professionals who are really good at what they do. Those are the people that I want to surround myself with. And you get outsource all of that and I'll teach you how to do that. The last thing that you're going to discover through this podcast and through this community that I'm building and through my coaching with you is this is that via ability to reach that place of success and security has everything to do with finding the right vehicle. It's, it's all about having the right vehicle. The vehicles are there. If you have the wrong vehicle, it's going to take you a lot longer. If you have the right vehicle for the right job, you're going to be successful. That, that it's it's, that's how easy it is. And what do I mean by that? I don't know about Shu, but I would not want to fly a Cessna one 70, you know, whatever, a Piper, two 35, whatever, any type of small airplane, you name it, a Piper assessment. I would not want to fly that across the Atlantic. It could be done. Yes, it could be done, but it's not an efficient way to go across the pond, get me a seven 47 dash shake all day long. I'd love to do that. It's an incredible flight. I've done it many times. If not thousands of times, with the military and FedEx and Atlas, that's the type of vehicle I want to be. So it's a matter of discovering the right vehicle, the right passive vehicle in order to get you to where you need to be. And if you find the right vehicle, it could get you there quickly, or you could get there slowly dependent upon the vehicle. So that is exactly what we're going to really focus on is helping you find the right vehicle in order to produce the passive or active income that you're looking for. So guys, it's all about having the right mindset, the right type of knowledge, and finding the right vehicle. You know, I just want to close this by telling you look, we're all in a, these are crazy times, but if there's anything that you can control is, is your perspective, your faith, your ability to see past all the noise in the situation and still maintain a high level of hope and security, knowing that everything is in your hands to be able to get you and your family to where you need to be too, it'd be, be at excuse me, or where you want to be. There's going to be three types of people. I think if, if we, if we see a lot of furloughs and job losses, there's going to be three types of people that we're going to see. One of them would be the type of individual that's going to spend a lot of their time trying to circumnavigate around the rough waters and the waves and do everything they can to try to go to circumnavigate away from it. The next person's going to be the one that's barely going to be treading water sitting there has the big waves, hit them and splashes them and moves them around. And the third person is a type of person. That's going to look at the waves. And instead of asking, you know, asking, can I avoid this or, or whatever, they're going to know that the way is right through it. And they're going to know that it's a matter of learning how to navigate through this in order to get to their destination as quickly as possible. And those individuals are going to be the most successful. Look, I appreciate you guys spending time with me today. I just wanted to spend this first podcast just kind of giving you my backstory and explaining why I'm so passionate about you in this community. Stay tuned to the next several episodes.
