For today's pregame conversation, Richmond Flying Squirrels broadcaster Trey Wilson sat down with pitcher Darien Smith, who was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Month for April. They discussed his start to the season and his time at Double-A so far, as well as his journey through four colleges before landing at Southeastern University, where he was the NAIA Pitcher of the Year in 2024 before signing with the San Francisco Giants as a non-drafted free agent.
