If you are new to scholarly publishing, you probably have a lot of questions that go beyond how to submit your manuscript and how to set out your responses to reviewers. What should I do if I disagree with a reviewer’s feedback? What should I do if my paper is rejected? What happens when there are multiple authors on a paper? In this session, Sin Wang Chong and Shannon Mason discuss the answers to some of the questions most commonly asked by early career researchers about the more hidden aspects of the peer review process. They provide insights from their experiences navigating the peer review process as early career researchers, resulting in the publication of a combined 54 peer-reviewed articles (and countless rejections!).
