You had a fire. You had a passion. What happened? I know what happened. Burnout happened. That's what happened. Listen, over the last few years, I have seen it everywhere. I've seen it over social media because I've been on social media for over 20 years. And I have never seen so many people that are hopeless, that are burned out, that are stressed out, that are filled with anxiety, they have no more goals or dreams. You know, remember a few years ago where everybody, it seems like they had some type of business, and everybody had some, they were joining some type of network marketing company, or they were doing essential oils or some type of CBD things or products. It was just everywhere. And now it's like no one wants to have a dream anymore. Everybody's burned out, everybody's exhausted, everybody's tired, mentally fatigued, mental exhaustion, etc. So let me tell you what burnout is, and you can tell me whether or not you suffer from burnout. The burnout definition is it is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged excessive stress, often stemming from work or caregiving roles. Now is that you? Does that sound like you? Where you're just so tired of giving, where you give and you give and you give and you gave and now you just have nothing left to give. And you it seems like you're just running on fumes. Listen, I totally get it. Man, during the COVID era, during all of this crazy stuff with politics and news and Epstein files and all of this crazy stuff, it's like, man, people are becoming more violent, people are having less and less hope, there's more shootings, and let me tell you, that stuff, living through all of that, will burn you out. But my friend, there is hope. You know if Colonel Sanders, he was in his 60s, he was burned out, stressed out, exhausted from trying business after business for years and years and years. And maybe you know the story and maybe you don't. But finally, he was so burned out he said, forget it. He sat under a giant tree and he was going to write his letter of death, right? And he was gonna tell everybody, you know, you know, goodbye and all of that kind of stuff. And all of a sudden, he had one last idea. He said, I haven't tried everything. I thought I've tried everything, but I hadn't tried everything. I hadn't tried my grandmother's chicken recipe. So he went door to door, got up from that tree, got up from his slump, and went out and put his white suit on and tried to sell that recipe, and he went to hundreds of businesses, nothing. And finally, one business said yes. And that, my friend, is the rest is history, like they say. Colonel Sanders went on to become a billionaire, have a billion-dollar corporation. When once he didn't feel like he could survive, he he felt like he just couldn't go on. You know, another story is Adele. Adele, the famous singer. Man, she has a powerful voice, and then some people just get so sick of and tired of either Hollywood or the music industry and the chaos and all of the stress, and they can't do it anymore. So Adele waited years. She finally came out with her brand new hit called Hello. Now, Hello from the Other Side is a song that people sang with their heart. I mean, they belted it out. People were driving down the freeway singing that song. But what Adele needed is she needed to come back. Better. She needed an ignition. She needed to ignite that fire that once burned on the inside of her. That's what I want to talk to you about in these last couple of minutes. How do you ignite or reignite that fire that was once in you? You once had that passion, you had that drive, you had that go-getter, and it seems like life will just suck it right out of you. Well, I'm gonna give you two of my principles of my system reignite and overcoming burnout. And this is coming from my brand new book, Ignite. Oh my gosh, ignite and and just come back, man. Overcome that burnout. I'm gonna help you right now overcome the burnout. So if you're gonna start a fire, you have to start from deep, deep inside. So the first step of reigniting that fire is you have to reignite it spiritually. Okay? Sometimes, you know, problems make us go further away from God. We just become numb and we don't even feel like praying anymore. We don't feel like reading our Bibles. We don't feel like just getting in touch with that spiritual side. But I'm telling you, if you're going to overcome burnout and you're going to reignite that fire, you got to start with the fire himself, and that is God, okay? And you have to get back to even if you don't feel like it, start with a 10-second prayer, a 30-second prayer, being honest with God, saying, God, I'm just burned out, and I need a new fire in the inside of me. I need a new fire in my heart. I need a new fire with my family. I need a new fire with my goals and my dreams. And I just feel like I have nothing left. And you don't do anything. You just allow God to reignite that fire within you. Now, you know what you got to do, right? That for some that could mean going back to church. For some, it means reading the Bibles. For some, it means just praying for a few seconds a day. For others, it might mean going and getting away on a retreat and getting back in touch with that spiritual side, but I'm telling you, you cannot reignite that fire without first starting from the inside, from the spirit. Now, number two, after you've done that, it's service. You have to change from saying, Oh my gosh, I feel like a slave. Everybody's using me. Everybody wants me to do this and that. Everybody wants me to go this direction and that direction. And they're pulling me in a 50 different directions. The kids want that, and the grandkids want this, and my husband or wife wants that, and my job wants me over here. And let me tell you, nothing burns you out quicker than feel feeling, you know, that feeling of being a slave. Like it just seems like I'm just a slave for work. I'm just going to go get that paycheck and I'm living paycheck to paycheck. But listen, you have to change your perspective. From now on, do not ever say I'm a slave. A slave has no choice, but a servant can choose when they serve, where they serve, how they serve, how long they serve, when they serve. You see, my friend, you are not a slave because you do the dishes. You are not a slave because you clean the house. You are not a slave because you go to work. You're not a slave because you take care of your family and doing what you should be doing. But if you change this perspective and say, I am a servant, I'm here to serve my family, I'm here to serve humanity, I'm here to serve, but under my own conditions, under my own terms. You see? There's a big difference. When you do this and you become a servant, there is something about serving others that brings the greatest joy in your life, that reignites that fire on the inside of you, and you begin to overcome all of the sadness. You become, you, you, you begin to overcome all of the stress and all of the anxiety. Let me tell you, there's nothing that will reignite your fire quicker than serving yourself and serving others.
