199-Talk yourself up!

You know, I think that cheerleaders are the greatest people on the planet. When is the last time you saw a cheerleader? Are you teaching your kids to be cheerleaders? I think you should let them do it. Why? 

Cheerleaders will cheer you on even if you are losing. Your team could be down 30 points at half time and the cheerleaders will cheer you on with a smile!

You know, I think that cheerleaders are the greatest people on the planet. When is the last time you saw a cheerleader? Uh are you teaching your kids to be cheerleaders? Are you teaching your maybe you've got a little niece that wants to be a cheerleader, and maybe she wants to join the team with her brother and maybe her cousins and she I I think you should let her let her be a cheerleader. I think cheerleaders are amazing. You know why? Because cheerleaders, man, you could be down. Your team could be down, the score could be down 30 points at the halftime. They could have thrown four interceptions, and you know what the cheerleader's gonna do? Yay, team! You can do it! Come on, we gotta come back in us. Come back, come back, let's go, let's go! And they are always optimistic. They are always cheering for the team. It doesn't matter if you've lost 14 games in a row. The cheerleaders show up early, the cheerleaders uh cheer at halftime, the cheerleaders cheer them up at the end, and I'm telling you, you can't find a frowning cheerleader. Well, there are some. So now imagine though, the worst cheerleader in the world. You know, that type of cheerleader that says, Oh my gosh, you guys suck. Oh God, here we go, sucking again. This is terrible. Oh, we've got the worst team ever. Like, how would they make the cheerleading squad? You know, they're not happy, they don't have a great smile, and they're just down, and then you interview the cheerleader and you go, like, what's up with that? And she says to you, well, I'm just trying to keep it real. Well, you know, I'm just being honest. You know, I'm just one of those people that just tell it like it is, right? You don't want a cheerleader that tells it like it is. You don't want a cheerleader that keeps it real. You want a cheerleader that is optimistic, enthusiastic, and believes despite everything that's going on. Now, imagine that cheerleader comes over to your house, that negative cheerleader, right? And that negative cheerleader says to you, Oh my gosh, you really can't cook, can you? Oh my gosh, you look at your house, it's not really very clean. Oh God, you're starting that business, you're trying again. Oh God, if I were you, this is not the greatest time to start a business, you know. I think that the economy is terrible right now. And I mean, I'm just telling it like it is. I'm just telling it like it is. You would kick that cheerleader out of your house so fast. Well, here's the crazy thing. Most people, this is how they cheer for themselves. They are their worst enemies, they're their own worst cheerleaders. Your own mouth. What if it was the one thing that was holding you back from great success? People say to themselves all the time, well, I don't know. I don't know about this business stuff. I'm not really good at marketing and I hate sales. And I'll be honest with you, you know, this is just really hard, and I don't have a whole lot of time right now. You know, my husband, he doesn't support me, or my wife, she doesn't support me, and what I do, and oh my gosh, man, I mean, this just sucks. And look at the economy, look at who they voted for this time. And oh my gosh, this is just I I need more tools. And if I had more of this, and if I had more money for ads, and if I had more, you know, and I I I I think I'm just gonna go back and pray. I'm gonna pray, and I don't I don't think God's, you know, I'm not made out for this stuff. Listen, you can't cheer yourself on like that. Man, you've got to be your greatest cheerleader. You've got to be that person that says, you know what, I don't care how far down I am, I can do it. I don't care how many times I've lost, I can do it. I don't care how many times I've started a business. If they can do it, I can do it. I'm telling you, man, I'm gonna be that one person in my family that makes it. I'm gonna be that one person that becomes a millionaire. I'm gonna be that person that overcomes it all. I can retrain my brain, and I am going to do great and extraordinary things. You see, you have to become your own cheerleader. Stop saying stuff like I'm just unlucky, and you know, I haven't won anything in my whole life, and I'm just an introvert, and I don't know, this is just, you know, listen, you've got a 50% chance of winning if you just try. Even if you don't know what the heck you're doing. I'm telling you, if you just throw something out there, I've done this so many times. You just throw something out there, man. And half the time I didn't know what the heck I was doing. And then somebody comes along and says, Hey coach, man, I was just wondering, uh, can you teach me how to do that? Hey, I was looking for a coach. I was looking for somebody to help me. Would you help me? And I mean, one of the biggest customers in the world. Happened to me when I didn't even know what the heck I was doing. I mean, I I had some success with it, right? I first started out, I was doing uh LLC funding. And, you know, corporate funding, and I it was so detailed and so intricate, and it was just so much to it. And and I had some successes, but I didn't fully know what the heck I was doing, but then I put it out there that I was doing that, and I actually got a little bit of a a loan for my business. Man, all of a sudden everybody started asking me about can you train me? Can you teach me how to do all of that LLC funding and all of that? And I just like I just said, okay, sure. I'll teach you what I know. Now I didn't know all the stuff that the other people knew, but I knew what I knew, and I started teaching them, and people was paying me so much money to do this, and I'm telling you, it taught me a very valuable lesson. If you just put your stuff out there, you've got a 50% chance of achieving your goal and achieving a win. Stop talking about what you don't know and just put it out there, what you do know. Stop talking about what doesn't work and start talking about what does work. Cheer yourself up, become your own encourager, become your own cheerleader. What if you start saying, you know, this could work? You know, if I just put it out there, it could work. Well, I did four uh TikToks and it didn't work. Well, do 40. Do 44, do 400. Like me with these podcasts. I mean, it's like, man, I got a lot going on right now. But so what? I'm putting it out there, I'm giving people my best. I've probably honestly I've got hundreds of these that I could still do. People think that I'm running out of content. Are you kidding me? I've got 25 plus years of all of this crazy stuff that's in my brain that I've taught other people that I've learned, and I've got so much content, it is crazy. So I'm cheering myself on. Doesn't matter if one person listens, or a hundred people listen, or a thousand people listen, I'm going to cheer myself on. Come on, CJ. You got the best podcast on planet earth, and I have to believe that I do. What about you? Start cheering yourself on, start building yourself up, start saying positive, motivational, inspirational things to yourself, even if nobody else is around, even if you're down, cheer yourself up.
