Join us as we struggle to understand exactly what the message was supposed to be here. Is it: don’t turn punk because your parents don’t pay attention to you? Is it: Don’t be a poser? Is it: Don’t become a daycare counselor if you’re a punk? Or is it: Do some research and learn what a punk is before you slip into an airport bathroom and change into what you think is a punk costume only hours before starting your new job? Misunderstood by his parents, and overlooked for first chair by his prestigious private school orchestra, the poor man’s Corey Haim walks us through the life of a misunderstood, yet excruciatingly polite, “punk.”  He has terrible parents, one of whom is Doc from the Love Boat. There is way too much riding on an academic conference, we experience the worst music ever to be on TV, and we get a rehashing of every weird phase Jennie has ever been through.
