The story centers around the "Blockbuster Mom," Sandi, and her dedication to the lone surviving Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon. We meet a supporting cast of D-list celebrities, all of whom Jennie dislikes, and are mostly men. They reminisce about the sounds and smells of local Blockbusters, while telling the story of the video chain's slow death.
