Laura and Manly hit a rough patch as his impulse purchase of a dirt field comes back to haunt him. Harve is an absolute monster who spends weeks telling Eliza Jane how great she is-only to marry someone else and disappear. For some reason, Mary and Adam’s anniversary brings the whole town together and in the grossest miscarriage of justice ever, Laura Ingalls and Almanzo Wilder, the classic lovers, get a quickie wedding ceremony in a blind school by a broke-down preacher. Oh, and Jennie can’t even see Carrie anymore. So something positive comes out of all of this.
