Mya Beaudry is the creator of successful and highly creative business Kokom Scrunchies! Mya is Algonquin from Kitigan Zibi, and she is currently in grade 4. Mya loves her culture and has been dancing at pow wows since she could walk. She has thought herself how to dance jingle, fancy shawl, hoop and traditional. In this super fun and inspirational conversation, I learn about Mya’s exciting journey as an entrepreneur and what inspired her to start her business Kokom Scrunchies. As we listen to this colourful, brilliant entrepreneur and visionary, we can feel hopeful about the future and confident knowing leaders like Mya Beaudry are helping to create a sustainable future for Indigenous communities and making an everlasting impact in the world.
