Hello and welcome to A-Cross Perspective/s! We are a group of Christians in Singapore who are keen to explore the complexities of living out the faith in today’s world. Our aim is to interrogate different perspectives on contemporary issues in light of our Christian beliefs. With many services having gone online due to COVID-19, people may feel at greater liberty to tune in to the services of other churches. This raises the thorny issue of commitment to the local church - is there ever a good reason to leave your church for another? What considerations do we need to keep in mind? More deeply, what is the role of the local church with regard to the believer and the body of Christ? What are some practical handles we can look to in figuring this out in our own lives?
