Season 5 Episode 4 (03/08/2025) - Untappd Awards - Best Beers of 2024
In this episode we go over Untappd's 2024 Community Awards which spotlights the top beers of the past year in each beer style. Tom and Dan go over the national awards won by some of our favorite local breweries and then talk about some of the top beers in each style in the state of New Jersey. Some surprising results but of no surprise - New York and New Jersey dominated by winning many national awards, but not necessarily winning the categories you may have expected.
Also in this episode, we bid farewell to Brotherton Brewing who announced their closing after 10 years in the craft beer game. Sporting a 3.85 Untappd average on their beers, there is still time to visit the brewery before the end of the month. Also - Chase from Top Beer Drops stops by and goes over the top new beers in the country according to Untappd - a list that is led by a collab of two local breweries that we love.
