The uncomfortable truth: we're afraid of being honest, and we're very comfortable lying

Nicole Hiti

Why is it that honesty has become awkward in our culture?
Why do we live and believe that it's normal to keep the peace and lie to somebody, when we know we are lying to ourselves?

Digging even deeper into it, what are the BELIEFS we hold about why a certain topic is considered "awkward and uncomfortable"?

How could our communication, honesty, and re-framing of why we see things the way we do change our lives?

Brad Blanton - author of Radical Honesty and highly esteemed psychologist - believes sincerely that the main reason for much of today's psychosis and depression (and most other psychological ailments) lies in our inability to tell the truth.

I couldn't agree more.

We have the power to change that.
