The forecast says cold, but the takes run hot. We kick off with a birthday on deck, a maybe-drive to Cincinnati, and that kind of snow that overstays its welcome—turning from pretty to prison. From there the ice melts into fire: T.I. unloads three diss tracks at 50 Cent while 50 mostly ducks the booth, stirring the pot with memes and quick deletes. We ask the hard questions fans are circling: when your opponent won’t rap back, does going triple feel like precision or pressure. Where’s the line between checking a bully and becoming one. And could this smoke be a smart setup for an album or a long-teased Verzuz.

The stage shifts from studio to ceremony. At the BAFTAs, an attendee with Tourette’s yells the N-word on a live-taped show and the network leaves it in. We unpack broadcast responsibility, medical reality, and why apology should be aimed at the people who were hurt, not just the brand in damage control. And when an AI-generated news alert repeats the slur, it’s a case study in how automation mirrors us at our worst unless someone steps in to set standards. Media ethics, accessibility, and cultural respect all collide in a single moment that should have been handled with more care.

SPEAKER_00

Hey man, what's going on, y'all? Welcome to Oh wait man, this ain't my bud. This is this is welcome to the mixed bias podcast. You know what I'm saying? Your favorite amateur podcast. And I am your boy, Mr. Bear, aka saying your name up on his pod. Might not put you tomorrow. There's no jersey. There's no quag. So you know, I gotta go, Mr. Save us all the time. Mr. Break Blast himself. What's up, Will?

SPEAKER_02

What's going on, man? I'm glad to be here. You know what? This is uh an early birthday present to me.

SPEAKER_00

Early birthday present? You what? The 20th.

SPEAKER_04

When's your 28th?

SPEAKER_00

Nah, today's 25th. When's your birthday? Tomorrow. Tomorrow, happy birthday. I thought it was the 28th.

SPEAKER_02

Nah, the last day of the month. Niggas is crazy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I thought you was the same day as my uncle. Nah. That's cause uh Melissa, her birthday was a couple days ago. Yeah. Yeah, I say you happy birthday. By the time y'all hear in this will be celebrating his birthday. So it will be it will be it will be his birthday. So y'all make sure y'all say happy birthday, Mr. Brain Glass in the comments. So, uh, do you have any plans for your birthday?

SPEAKER_02

Uh, I don't know yet. I'm working tomorrow. And uh I think I'm thinking maybe Saturday I might do something. Uh I might head out and drive up to Cincinnati or something. Uh depending on the weather.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I think it's supposed to, uh I think it's supposed to be good. Well, here. I don't know about Cincinnati.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the other day I looked in Cincinnati. I said it was gonna be very similar to here. Uh a few degrees cooler. I think like 55 instead of 60, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just worried about the snow. That's the only thing I worry about. So that's not supposed to be until uh Monday.

SPEAKER_00

So it's supposed to snow again?

SPEAKER_02

Like two inches, bro. It's just it ain't gonna be shit.

SPEAKER_00

I'm saying, but um you ain't tired of the snow yet. You ain't tired of the cold yet? Because I swear I've met with it. Um I can do a little bit because I ain't small bit. I can do the code for a couple months, but I know we're supposed to be breaking at this point. That's where I'm at. Like, we're supposed to be breaking through.

SPEAKER_02

Not yet, man. You know, like we we got to like end of March. Uh once we get to the end of March, then I started getting angry. Like, hold on. I hate those cool April days and shit. I'm like, man, nah, this ain't part of the plan. So I'm okay. It's cold in February. We're still in the in the thick of it. I didn't realize time was changing so damn quick.

SPEAKER_00

You mean the uh the clock going back or just in general?

SPEAKER_02

Going forward.

SPEAKER_00

I mean going forward, that's right. Spring forward.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, spring, spring forward.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm sure.

SPEAKER_02

Uh you know, it's just next week, like uh like March the 8th or some shit like that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's nah, you're right. I thought that was like late March, early April, right? I guess it is. I guess it's about time.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I mean you know your day get a little bit was it shorter? Some sunlights out longer, so longer.

SPEAKER_00

You know, uh I uh it ain't I you know like like you said, it's gonna be cold, it's February, but I think it's because of that last snow we had. Well, I had ice on my street for about three weeks, though. You know what I mean? That's what I think. That's what I think that's what it is that I'm cold for. I'm tired of the cold.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I get it. Now that was the longest time I've ever seen snow. Like, and I've always said I I like I like snow, so like I'm a fan of it, but only if it snows and then like gets warm like the next few days and melts that shit immediately. Like, I don't want don't and and I got the total opposite with this last snow. That shit stuck around for a month, bro. I seen that shit then. That shit that shit was on the ground for a month.

SPEAKER_00

No, I uh it's a Walmart up, it's a Walmart goes to up in Zemville. It's still a hell of snow in the middle of the parking lot.

SPEAKER_02

This you know, you put all that snow together, it's it's gonna take more than yeah, when you put it together, it'll take longer, yeah.

Snow Stories And Weather What-Ifs

SPEAKER_00

But it's still like it ain't it don't look like it melted a little bit. It don't look like it melted a little, it looked like the same amount of snow when they piled when they piled it all together. Whatever snow. Yeah, you said two inches. I don't know that two inches. Imagine we I complain about two inches. Yeah, I'm complaining about two inches. New York was 20. New York got 20, they got two feet. I'm complaining about two inches.

SPEAKER_02

That's yeah. I see some of those spots that went crazy. Yeah, but you know, I've always been told myself I like to live through it at least once. 20 inches, yeah, those 20, those 32s and shit like that. I like to at least live through it once. Um, but you know, I'll never do it uh because I ain't moving to the east coast uh or northern up north. Uh but um I've always said that. That's that would be entertaining to me to just be. I just want to see everything locked down. I've always liked that thought. Like, can't nobody move? Like okay.

SPEAKER_00

Uh from that was from that thought process perspective, yeah. I would like to live through it once. Just once. Like a good, like you said. I don't know if I need that much snow. I think where we live in, if you give us 12, we'll lock down for at least three, four days. Yeah. Like a little legit, like well hell, probably longer than that for real. You give us a solid 15, we probably gonna lock down for a minute. But yeah, uh something like that, cool. I don't bro, I don't know if I want that much.

SPEAKER_02

Let me see a little dub on the flower from the sky. Let me catch that on the ground. I think that'll be a pretty cool experience, man. Everybody should at least go through once.

SPEAKER_00

They can have it. I'm gonna I think I'm gonna pass. I think I'm trying to go south. Magic, they don't like the weather. It's gonna be you don't get snowed down in the south, but I was gonna say, look, look at it. I'm gonna hurry your ass to death. I was gonna say you gonna hurry, you go to Florida, they're gonna hurry you to from the from the Boston Mexico side to the Lane of Gosh side. You're gonna get you gonna get popped something one way or the other. But I would rather that then.

SPEAKER_02

Nah, man, give me the snow.

SPEAKER_00

Look, I caught myself. I caught myself.

SPEAKER_02

Give me the snow, man. I'll take the snow over the hurricane.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I caught myself. I uh yeah, I caught myself. But uh, we're gonna get into the entertainment news. Um, I feel like we gotta start off with what's going on in hip hop right now. Um T.I. and 50 Cent. I don't really want to call it a back and forth because 50 Cent ain't said nothing. He showed him he shared a meme about Tiny, and then he made a post, which he took the post down so quick, I didn't even see what he said that involved uh Tina knows. Somehow I think I don't know, some about kids, or something, whatever the case may be. But he made that post and took it down immediately. So I don't really know what I don't wanna call it the back and forth. So T.I. released three diss tracks, and then of course King, well, we'll get to King in a minute. We'll say King for a second, we just use that to host everything. But you heard a couple of the diss tracks. What you think?

SPEAKER_02

I mean TI did what he was supposed to do. You know, shit. Like I will say, I think 50 been bullying for a minute. You know, like if you really think about it, 50 been like I won't say not rightfully so, like some of the situations he he was kind of like doing what everybody else felt like should have done. But a lot of times, nigga 50 been out of pocket. Uh he do go a little far. Like he carried away sometimes. That nigga stay carried away, bro.

SPEAKER_00

Well, like you said, sometimes it do be warranted. Sometimes, sometimes. Yeah, but it's still you still carried away, nigga.

SPEAKER_03

Like you still took it too far.

SPEAKER_02

It might have been warranted, nigga, but you took it way too far, nigga. Like, damn, 50. Okay, brother, you beat me, you never seen like a nigga get beat up, and then they just keep beating on him. And I'll be like, all right, bro, alright, it's over.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's like all right, now we're breaking it up. Like, all right, bro, stop. It's over. You done done what you did. Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_02

I feel you. That's 50, bruh. It's always all right, bro. All right. He had enough. Like, but I guess TI, like niggas said, I'm gonna play with you. You know, like TI's one of them niggas who could play with you.

SPEAKER_00

All right, three dish, three diss tracks in three days, though.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, man. Look, TI older. He ain't his kid is older. He ain't taking kids to elementary school as much, so for the one little baby. So you feel me? He got time, bro. That nigga, shit. That nigga got time, bro. It is he gotta say something, bro. He can't let Key just say everything.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not okay. Well, I feel like one diss track, one distract's enough, right? Nah, bruh. Uh-huh. Okay, you you doing a I love TI. TI one of my favorite rappers, and I think it's three of them, one of them just came out an hour ago. It's now like it's hell good. You know what I'm saying? I can't really give an honest opinion on something that just came out an hour ago. So, but I like the tones, but well, three of them to a person you know ain't gonna rap. Like, I don't you know he ain't gonna rap. You know, everybody knows he said ain't gonna rap. That's what he gonna do. Three dish tracks for a person who ain't gonna rap? That dude seems a little hassle, though, don't it?

T.I. Fires At 50 Cent

SPEAKER_02

I don't care if you don't want to, nigga, you a rapper at the end of the day. You come to me, I'm gonna go to you, I'm gonna I'm gonna attack you in our medium. And that's rap. So, hey, I ain't gonna release no films, no documentaries about you, nigga. You feel me? I ain't doing that. I'm not you. I'm gonna rap at you just like you used, like you raped at Jah Ru Nim, nigga. I'm gonna rap at you. And you know what it is because you did that before. So I I'm with T.I. She come at that nigga in your medium and attack that nigga however you figure fits.

SPEAKER_00

Alright. Um, I just think because like he just 56 just went through this whole thing with like Fab, Jim Jones, and him. And I'll Fab got on there and threw some shots. You know 51 gonna rap. He's still taking shots at Jim Jones, but you know 50 ain't gonna rap with Fab. So that's why I'm like, man, we kind of see what now I feel like matter of fact, I think the last one was called Bully, because he ref kept reference and bully. It do feel like TI just kick it, go keep kicking that man. He's gonna keep kicking that man until he does something.

SPEAKER_02

Uh you nah, no, because if it was like I put it into like a uh uh fictional setting, right? So like if there was this one cat and y'all was in school, like just go let's go back to like let's say middle school, because elementary y'all shouldn't be fighting as much. So, like in elementary middle school, you and your friends, and there's this one dude who always picking on everybody, right? And he finally picked on the wrong dude, and that dude gives him exactly what he's looking for, and then the dude doesn't really change. 50 don't change for real. You still in the same shit. You feel me? It ain't like you came out and apologized to tiny anything, nigga. I wish I'm gonna drop another one on your ass. So you're gonna whoop that nigga again when you see him the next time. So you it's just what it is, bro. Like, if that scenario, you like, well, damn, yeah, that's how life will play out. And that's how it's playing out in music right now.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, does I'm not saying that I'm this is what I think. Just asking the question. Do you think T.I. turns into the bully when you keep hitting the same person over the head after this person? 50 already deleted all his posts. So 50's waving 50 waving the white flag, basically. So just does T.I. turn into the bully when he keeps rapping at a person who done already was like, all right, you got it, you on.

SPEAKER_02

So, so why is it right for you to tell me that enough's enough when you ain't never known a line?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, that's good.

SPEAKER_02

So you don't get to pick now to be like, oh, well, I'll bow out, uh leave me alone. No, nigga, I'm on your neck like you're on everybody else's neck, nigga. I'm following you, pointing at you, nigga. You can retreat all you want to, nigga. You can run over there and hide in the woods, nigga. I'm gonna be outside with signs and shit, nigga. I'm on your fucking neck, 50. So like I get it, like it's what it is, nigga. Like, you don't get to just pick the battle to be done because you don't want to participate, because you don't feel like maybe you can hold your own. Well, no, nigga, shit. I'm at you for that. You forfeited, bro. You forfeited, my nigga. You're not living that down. Every time I see you, family got shit. Great big phony. He's a phony, a great big phony. Every time I see you, nigga. Every time you can't, we man, we'd be that motherfucker. We could be at heavenly gates, nigga. We're gonna see God, nigga. I'm like, hey, hold on, real quick, Jesus and Peter. Let me hop this nigga.

SPEAKER_03

You a phony, I swear to god, I'm on this nigga's neck, bro.

SPEAKER_02

If you respond, bro, and it's just rap at the end of the day. Drake still making songs. You feel me? Like, you don't you don't have to die because you ain't even making music no more. Niggas is still gonna watch power. You feel me? Like, you know, you can you can release the the book of Kyan, Ken, all that shit. You feel me? Niggas is still gonna be on it, but um they gonna know, just like we know, Kendrick came and you know, put that nigga in his place. We gonna know. Nigga named Clifford put you in your place.

SPEAKER_00

Nigga named Clifford. Nigga named Clifford. Clifford put Clifford punk that man.

SPEAKER_03

Clifford fucked. It was an old it was a battle of the old nigga next. Against a nigga named Kurt. Oh, the old nigga showed up. Niggas had a pity loafers and shit.

SPEAKER_00

Penny loafers and mean coast. Hey, oh so look, I do let's get the let's get the uh uh Clifford's son, King. King, of course, back to T, like I said, 50 Cent, he posted a picture of Tiny, he took it down, but King posted a picture of 50 Cent's mothers and I believe their mother's grave slice and said basically, I'm talking about my mama, go dig your mama up. Do you think that's too far? So I I personally do not.

SPEAKER_02

So like I like my my my mind teeth on two on two different things. The the the son in me says, You come from my mama, nigga, I'm at your I'm at your throat, right? You feel me? Like, that's the son of me. But then the adult in me says, hey nigga, stay in kids' place. You feel me? Like, like this ain't your business. Like, like you let your daddy handle that, you feel me? Like, he ain't tag you, nigga. He ain't bring you in this, you feel me? But like I get why you angry, and you gotta you kind of got a gray area, nigga, to where you can say something if you want to for real. Nobody can foul you for, but some people probably be like, well, you probably shouldn't really be saying much. You feel me? And the fact that uh he took it, he took it pretty far.

SPEAKER_00

Uh he said they're gonna be a mama.

Is Three Diss Tracks Too Much

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's kind of yeah, he took it pretty far. Uh especially when I mean let's not let's not act like 50 said something that everybody else ain't said, nigga. Like we all been out here saying, nigga. Like, I mean, we love Tiny, you feel me? And and we love the music she made and the impact she made on hip hop and RB or whatever, girl groups and shit. All that's cool, but nigga, over time, her looks have faded. And then she tried to renovate the motherfuckers, and then she got a bad contractor and left out some screws. It was just it's a lot going on. So don't try to act like 50 was on some shit that we wasn't all along, nigga. We all been saying for a minute, and we I seen the tiny and smoky robinson meme for years. Years, years, yeah, and hey, and I mean, hey, I laugh every time I see it.

SPEAKER_03

I ain't even gonna tell you. I ain't even gonna hold you, bro. Every time I see a tiny and smoky video, I'm like, nigga, like who did this? Like, this was before AI, nigga, like that.

SPEAKER_00

Like, so I feel like I don't think King was wrong because like you said, you come at my mama. At your throat. I'm at your throat for the end of time. Like you said, he ain't gonna be at you came at my wife, I'm gonna be at your throat. You come at my mama, I'm gonna be at your throat forever and ever and ever. Because you don't talk people, I don't play by my mama. So from that perspective, I get it. I do think it tells that man to dig up your telling that man to dig up his mama. I do think I I think it's in poor taste. That's why I say I don't think he's wrong. I just don't know if he should have gone that far. Also being who, you know what I'm saying? Being who your father is, because we we know T.I. won't go let it roll. If you bring up Tiny, T I go like just going. He going. We already know that from uh previous situations.

unknown

T.

SPEAKER_02

Because he got to, because too many people was doing it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so I don't think I don't think he necessarily needs to get into that situation, but you can't dis you can't disrespect me in mind and then expect me to go light. You go low, I'm going lower. So he went lower. I just don't think he should have. I think he should have maybe come up with something else. If you're gonna respond, if you're gonna say something, cool. But I feel like man, telling him in to dig up his mama, whew, it's kind of, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

To me, it's kind of like what if the 50, what if the caption on the picture said I seen the picture?

SPEAKER_00

Let me see if I can figure out.

SPEAKER_02

I think I might be missing, I might be missing some context and what because like maybe 50 said something in the picture to make King extremely mad, you know what I'm saying? Cause I don't, you know, just a picture and saying, you know, something that the whole world said a million times doesn't necessarily warrant uh the reaction from King from 50, I mean from uh from TI. Yeah, most definitely that's your wife. And you know, go out and you know, have her back and let people know that you ain't gonna talk about her any and every type of way.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't know Googling this, I didn't know he king released the diss track too.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I ain't listening to that shit.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, I don't know if I'm gonna get that far. I don't know if I'm gonna get that far.

SPEAKER_03

Tell me to stick to posters and shit. It it's a picture of it's a picture.

SPEAKER_00

Of the grave site and it says fuck your bitch ass and dig up your mama. That's what it said.

SPEAKER_02

No, no, no, no. I'm saying what the 50 say on the picture of the 50 say.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02

That's what I'm saying. Because to have the king, this this aggression. That's what I'm saying. What if 50 say in that picture to spark this aggression out of uh King?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, let me let me pull this up. Let me see.

SPEAKER_02

Like I said, I understand T.I., like that's your wife, right? But like King is like.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so all I said was, keep I keep saying keep my name out your mouth. Uh emoji or shrug your shoulders. Okay, question mark.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, well, yeah, see. So King, you you out of pocket, because you ain't gonna do this. It's just a picture of your mama, it's a real fucking picture of your mama's fucking body was botched, bro. Like, you can't be mad at the world for just noticing what the fuck we supposed to do. Yeah, so if you out here, if you out here and nigga feel like they could say something about the way you look, we've been doing that since kindergarten, nigga. We were talking about the way each other look. A even a time in our lives where we ain't with and had other people judging us and making jokes on it. So keen pipe down, player, let your daddy handle it. But I understand your I understand your anger.

SPEAKER_00

That's very thing. I understand why he's doing it because I understand your way.

SPEAKER_02

I understand him being angry, but him being so aggressive, your daddy's handling, nigga. What are you supposed to do? You just at this point, I feel like maybe you just you know trying to get a little clout off of it, too.

SPEAKER_00

I was getting we getting regular. I don't think he shouldn't have should have released this track. Your dad, by that point, your daddy already released it.

King’s Response And The Line Of Respect

SPEAKER_02

It's no need for you to even mean they're gonna make it the whole album, they're gonna make an album, family album. They go out, they gonna have a little baby on that Sega, they're gonna have an OMG girls, they gonna have the Mani on there doing country and shit. Just random shit. It's gonna be crazy.

SPEAKER_00

And what do all that Jimmy the Jimi Hendrix style music?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay. My bad. I got them mixed up. Masiah is gonna be on there with the Jimi Hendrix shit, and then you're gonna have Demonny on there rapping. Yeah, it's gonna be Damon.

SPEAKER_00

He got that more like what laid back flow, more that's cool.

SPEAKER_02

That's another way it's gonna be a different type of disc.

SPEAKER_00

A different type of disc. Yeah, but I don't know if I don't know if I want to cleanse this.

SPEAKER_02

Um baby's gonna have a disc too. You know, she sang.

SPEAKER_00

She does say, yeah, she sang. Yeah, I got that. Um T.I. is dropping the album, right? Ernst also was all of this supposedly started over with versus TI 50 was TI said him if he said on a uh million dollars worth of game podcast, he said me and 50 was put me and 50 had talked about it. We said we was gonna do it, and then now I'm I he said 50 said T.I. said 50 told him to be the one to put it out there, and then now 50, when it's time to go do it and actually, you know, promote it or whatever, or gave geared up, 50 like, nah, I don't want to be no verses that you give my name out your mouth, basically. Do you think all of this is for publicity? Or either the potential versus or the album? Because I have 50 has a history of creating drama and creating problems online to help to help other people or other artists sell. Because he did that with Rotemi. Rotemi was on one of one of them shows, I don't know, Power or one of them, I don't know which one. And then Rot Timmy was Rotemi was coming out with an album. Henry 50 created a little prime, they created a little beef. Rotemi's album went number one. Because he was supposed to sign a G Unit for some paperwork stuff happened, whatever the case, so he didn't end up signing a G Unit. Rot Timmy's album went number one. A couple years a year later, or whatever the case may be, both of them came out and said, nah, it was fake. We just did it to promote the album. So do you think it's a possibility to be doing this again?

SPEAKER_02

Um I would say it was a possibility, but the only part that made me lean towards and maybe not being is because 50 usually gonna have something to gain from it too. No, I don't think in this situation, if it's just for T.I. album, he ain't really gaining shit.

SPEAKER_00

He gained some sales. Well, 50 ain't 50 ain't gaining nothing. But 50 didn't gain nothing from Roger, because he wasn't trying to jail and so I just did the homie. I mean they got songs together, so yeah. Oh, you mean to ask the TV show? He I believe he was still like a a reoccurring actor on one of the shows.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so I mean, you know, then I've a higher you know, get a celebrity, get a little fame off something like your music, and then that'll bring people to a show or the show draw people to your music, you know. So 50 gained something off of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I think it's a I think it's a possibility, but I don't know if TI would go that far to let 50 play with his wife like it. If it was about T.I. If it was a post about TI, I think it would I will lean towards more of oh, this is autoplicity. Well, 50 posted the picture of Tiny, like you said, it is on the internet. TI, I mean Tiny is a public figure, so you know she's gonna have images or whatever the case may be. Yeah. I would say 50 T.I. will agree to make fun of Tiny and we we're gonna be able to sell this stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe Tiny suggests maybe you're right, yeah, it could be, you know, because it's something she would this point. I've dealt with this damn picture and people talking about it so damn long. Fuck it, make something off of it. It's cost me so much as far, especially if if I'm pressed about it, you know, it's cost me so much, so let me go ahead and make something off of it. You know? So maybe she was like, fuck it, tell them position there.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, yeah, you're right. It could be a possibility.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Tiny all about that business too, though. Like, let's not like act like Tiny ain't a business woman. We've seen what she does. She does good business. She did it for her kids, she did it for herself. So she's not necessarily somebody you look at and be like, oh, she doesn't know what she's doing.

SPEAKER_00

Man, we uh I don't okay. Let me ask you this, then we're gonna get off of this. Do you would you want to see TI and PC University? And if so, who do you think wins?

SPEAKER_02

Going, you know, of course they do 20 songs. So, I mean, I think T.I. could find other artists to go against that would be more appropriate for him. Like, you know, maybe the catalog who could match it. I don't think, I think, I don't think 50 catalog will be like super long. You could be like super big. So like we're looking at what, like uh, once you get through the first five or six, if you ain't a if you ain't a solid fan, you're gonna be like, uh, maybe, maybe not, you know.

unknown

Yeah, you're right.

SPEAKER_00

50 gas. The first two albums. After that, he got a couple songs here and there. And even off the first, like you said, even off the first two albums, he's gonna get you seven songs.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Like I said, you gotta be a solid fan to really know the deep cuts.

unknown

Yeah.

Versus Matchups And Catalog Math

SPEAKER_02

You feel me? So if you just casual picking, never really had an album. Because I mean, I'm I'm a fan of artists and I've never owned the album. Um so, you know, I don't know if he had a maybe because of longevity. Because like, I mean, T.I. referenced it in the in the song. It's the the the last real thought we was gonna thought we thought we were gonna hear something for 50 was when him and Kanye released at the same time.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. Uh what 50 released Curtis. I forgot what the Kanye CD was. But I know 50's was Curtis. Yeah, it was an 808 and Heartbreak. I was at 808, might have been 808 and Heartbreak, but I know because they they did a whole press one of both of them, and they they was killing it. Then you did the album once you did the album sales. Of course, Kanye won because he wasn't with Kanye at that time. And then by that time, 50 50 was still popular, but he wasn't like music-wise, he wasn't gonna do he wasn't gonna do another Kanye.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so 50's the good thing about 50 was that he made business moves in that tender when when he was popular as hell, and that helps him keep his fame.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Right, you know, and of course, he went on to do other things that make him relevant to this day. But um, music-wise, that's not where he necessarily, he doesn't got a deep act.

SPEAKER_00

No, he don't. But yeah, you're right. Once you get you get many men in Wainster and get uh what's the name of the thing on uh in the club, yeah. Uh just a little bit, disco inferno. Uh that's it for real. Oh candy shop, if you're a candy shop in it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I mean it doesn't it doesn't get necessarily easier from here, and and you already said one of the songs is not everybody's cup of tea. So like that can't even be like, you know.

SPEAKER_00

That's not even a guarantee point.

SPEAKER_02

You really make the verses, so it's like uh yeah, I think I think TI could probably find a better opponent.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I would say the TI's TI's actual, I feel like his perfect opponent in the verses is Little Chris.

SPEAKER_02

Little Chris already did it with Nelly, so it's kind of like yeah, Nelly. Maybe Nelly and 50 should have done it. Even though Nelly does have a back. I was gonna say, oh, Nelly got more choice than 50. Yeah, Nelly, Nelly got choices, but like I mean, like I said again, some of those is gonna be you're more of your your your deep cut fan, you know. You gotta be a fan to like rock with these. At that point, that's that's 50's lane, you know. Like we cater into our fans here, like like okay, cool.

SPEAKER_00

Now you are right. I guess I'm a Nelly fan. I don't know. I just feel like nah, man.

SPEAKER_02

I I was a Nelly fan. Nelly got some joints. Nelly got some joints. As a young man, I was a Nelly fan. So I know the Nelly joints. You feel me? Like, I was listening to Nelly when he was still rocking with St. Louis Tech's real tough. You feel me? So like I get it. I know what you mean. You feel me? Like, I was on that uh, what was that um not the uh not the country grammar album? Uh Nellyville. Nellyville. I was on that top.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So like you know, I get it.

SPEAKER_00

Country Grandma Nellyville. You know what I'm saying? But again, I'm a Nellyvan, so I'm biased a little bit. But I still got to.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but see, yeah, well, I mean, you know, 50 ain't uh 50 ain't got that long catalog like that. So like who he gonna who go who go, you know, who you putting up for gifts in. So I'm saying, like, you ain't like the catalog ain't like you ain't gonna be like, ah man, I threw 50 on and we was listening for two, three hours. Yeah, no, you ain't gonna be.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no. And then I know a lot of New Yorkers was appointed like 50 cent mixtapes, but them mixtapes didn't circulate. I guess imagine we are in the south, right? So it is different. Nah, no, no, that ain't no excuse. No, we prefer. We I prefer to give them that. We those mixtakes probably circulated in New York, but like you said, they ain't circulated, they didn't they didn't make it 50 cent mixtapes didn't make it down here. Like Dips says we talked about dip says mixtapes made it down here.

SPEAKER_02

That's exactly what I was gonna say. We we was listening to New York mixtapes, and I was going like I was going to the uh uh fashion store on uh Broadway by Shepherd Square, just to cop mixtapes, you feel me? Like I was like special, you feel me? So like and I was getting DJ K Slay and Funk Flex and all that shit. You feel me? So like I heard New York rappers, but I wasn't like dying to go find that 50 cent mixtape. Like, I mean, shit.

SPEAKER_00

I can probably think of the one what the mixtape where he disjoined him, and then he had the one with uh Rob and the uh Robin, yeah, Robin issue, but that came that came out before uh Get Richard Digera came out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I remember that, yeah. So yeah, yeah, other than that, uh I wasn't like chasing up 50 mixtapes. Uh shit, not for real. Not that I can think of.

SPEAKER_00

No, but like you said, down here, them dipsets, you did we them dipsets mixtapes got played.

SPEAKER_02

That shit made it all through the south. Florida, all those niggas who grew up in that time lived in Florida until yeah, hell yeah. You feel me? We was walking around acting like New Yorkers and shit for weekends.

BAFTA Broadcast And The N-Word

SPEAKER_00

All right, man. Um yeah, so there's uh the BAFTA award. I don't know. Never heard of these awards a day in my life, but they are they are British awards, so of course I would have never heard of them. Um one of the attendees uh had to rent and when Michael B. Jordan, and why can't I think uh Doloro Delore Dolore Lindo? Deloro I don't know how to pronounce this man's name right. I'm gonna I'm gonna give my uh assistant heard to make sure I pronounced this right. Anyways, uh they when they was up representing uh war, he the person that's arrested, said the N-word. Reportedly, it was said three times. It was heard loud and clear on the broadcast, but the BBC did not edit out him calling out saying out the N-word. Um it's two points I want to hit with this. One, because it was take it was a two-hour tank play, do we how do we feel about the BBC not editing it out? And also the gentleman with the rest, because I'm kind of torn with him. So let's let's start with let's start with the uh let's start with the BBC.

SPEAKER_01

What are your thoughts about the BBC not editing it out?

SPEAKER_02

Uh yeah, so for I would probably lean towards that was just a dumb decision by the network. Um that was just like a really like they there was no reason to leave it in there. Uh there was no gain from it other than this publicity, right? So um the same way we say rappers move in a in a way to help intensify their brand. So when they do projects and things like that, they can make more money. Um maybe BBT didn't edit out because people would talk about it. Um the conversation will be creative. Uh you know, so and now we're having it, you know. They created it by making the video, and now we're having the conversation. Uh but you know, like I said, I think it was a of poor taste. I think they could have made a better choice uh by just adding it out. But maybe also they couldn't find a way to properly edit it out, right? Listen, not this being that it was heard throughout the not that it was it was heard throughout the place, right? But they couldn't edit out the reaction of Michael B. Jordan and um the other man's name I can't think of at the second.

SPEAKER_00

Um Delroy Lindo. Delroy Lindell, how to have me pronounced that correctly. Yeah, Delroy Lindo. Right.

SPEAKER_02

Uh but yeah, so uh I uh maybe they couldn't end it up because of their reaction. Maybe because I did see them, they had like a uh visible reaction to it, you know, like they were shocked, you know.

SPEAKER_00

But I wouldn't know what to do on that stage and do just yeah, you were you up her presenting award. I won't say the presenting, they might do the scepter, because you know Senator's been getting a lot of awards. You up on stage and then you just heard nigga. Like, what I don't need those is one of those situations people be like, man, I would have did this, I would have done that. Well, I can honestly say, bro, I wouldn't know what I would have done. Especially because it's an award show, so it ain't like somebody directly in front of you that said the inward.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I was gonna say you would just did what they did, made a weird face, and kind of like, what the hell was that about? You would have tried to figure out what the hell's going on. Uh that's nothing to actually do. You're gonna go attack the person for saying it. I mean, what you're gonna achieve? You feel me? You gonna go all the way across the room, find this person who said it, and attack them. Uh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I mean it's it plus it's also like you said, it's not really much you can do. You kind of, but I don't know if I wanna continue on accepting or presenting this award. Like, I I'm kind of like her magic. We I'm about to, right? Like, I'll go get off stage because I gotta continue in this awkward moment.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I wouldn't fault you for that if you decided to, you know, uh relieve yourself of your duties and dismiss yourself from your uh tasks. I wouldn't fault you for that. Um, but you know, uh be professional and get through it. Uh it's probably what I would do. Uh and then when I got off stage, start asking questions.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. All right. Um let's talk about the guy with Tourette's.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. Once I found out the gentleman had Tourette, I wouldn't necessarily uh feel the same way I felt when I first heard it.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, but I'm maybe because you talked about a pre-part, you watch a TV show with a person with tourette. But isn't that stuff feel taught, though? Because you gotta I get that you I get we can we can excuse the outburst, but why is that word even in your lexicon?

Tourette’s, Intent, And Accountability

SPEAKER_02

Well, okay, so like when a person from what I've learned from watching this show comes on TLC, um it's uh I don't want to butcher the name, so just go on TLC, look for the show. The girl's actually famous, she's all over TikTok and she, I think her name is Braylon. Uh I can't remember the name of the show right the second I actually recorded. So I actually do like the show. From what I understand is they pick up those outbursts are called, you know, just outbursting ticks, little ticks that they have. They pick them up from like everyday interactions and shit, right? So like she has a tick where she talks about Joe Biden's like in her basement snorting cocaine. It's like just this random thing she yells out that she picked up off of something she heard. So like it's just like it's just it's really like just these these people are kind of whatever they absorb can become ingrained in them and become a tick. You feel me? Now, every time she sees her dad, she says, You're bald, you're bald, you're bald. She said, three times. That's why when you said the dude said nigga three times, I was like, Well, that kind of fits with the Tourette's thing. They kind of do repeat it multiple times to get that feeling out. Because it's an urge, right? Like this urge comes over you to do this, and you must do it, even if it's harm to yourself, right? So, like if the urge, like she'll have an urge to like smack her head against the wall. Well, she has to do it in some form or fashion, and she has to do it three times. So, like, I maybe it was just a touress outburst, uh, and maybe he picked the word up from a TV show, a movie he might have seen. You know, there's movies about racism where the word is skewed, and he watched that, and now he has it in his lexicon, as you say, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I heard your point. But it takes me back to uh it was recently with an HG TV star, uh Nicole, let me make sure I got Nicole Curtis. She had a show called Rehab Attic. Yeah, rehab at it. She was film saying fuck nigga, uh something like something nigga. Like, and then she tried to she was like, Man, can you edit that? Can you take that out? First, they wanted her gone because don't know, you don't get that footage unless somebody wanted you out. Yeah, somebody released that. It was fascinating. Somebody released that footage. They wanted your TV show to end. They was tired of paying you, whatever the case may be. It was a reason why that got out. But you pissed somebody off. Yeah, you pissed somebody off. You went to the office and somebody was angry or whatever, or your show wanted to do the numbers, and they just was like, Yeah, no.

SPEAKER_02

Or somebody could just got fired and be like, you know what? I'm giving fire, everybody gives fire fucking shit.

SPEAKER_00

That's good point, that's a good point.

SPEAKER_02

But I probably say boat down ass nigga. You feel me? Like, shit, nigga, I get fired, nigga. Shit, about the ride this motherfucker to iceberg, bitch. You tell me you Titanic, nigga shit.

SPEAKER_00

If I go down, everybody was going in.

SPEAKER_03

Man, man, the whole company. I want the whole company closed.

SPEAKER_00

What you say? Hey, you get a car, you get a car, you get a car. Nah, you get fall, you get five, you get full. I brought that up to say, like, she acts like she was so shocked that it came out of her mouth. Why you acting trying? You pretty you for you to be so comfortably saying that, it's you use it. So in my head, I'm thinking the guy uses it in his regular, regular daily. Or not like maybe not daily, but he uses it often. At least that's what I took from it. But mind you, I don't have the background. I don't know to rats like that. So maybe that, like you said, it they could pick it up from anywhere and they just gotta get it out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they it was just a trigger. And normally, if I don't know why he was, I don't know why he should be biked up. Uh, that seems to be weird.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, I see the comments, they said they should have put Burrell all the way in the back, even though he was getting honored, he was getting honored for doing a uh doing something on Tourette's, but they they said they should have put him all the way in the back so he, if he had any of those outbursts, you couldn't hear him. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

See, because like I mean, like you said, watching the show. Before I watched the show, I didn't know much about Tourette's. Probably I knew as much as um some whoever watched the movie, uh, I think it was uh uh Deuce Bigelow. There was a girl on Deuce Bigelow, she had Torex and uh wait a minute, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I don't remember her.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that was a girl. She had narcolepsy. The one girl had narcolepsy, she would fall asleep, and he had a tie hair shit. And then the other girl, she had to reps, and she used to she had allowed shit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, okay. Now I'm starting to remember. Yeah, I'm starting to remember. Yeah, yeah, I'm starting to remember.

SPEAKER_02

All that nigga do spigolo, all his hoes was was had disability checks. You feel me? All the bitches the government was fair, do spigolo. Nobody ever called a nigga out. Y'all gonna pay me. Okay, what y'all think about? Yeah, I can't make a shit. I was central worker, make shit.

SPEAKER_00

But uh, I do want to say the BBC, but I guess I guess it's different for us in America. The N-word means something. I guess in over there, it don't mean nothing to them.

SPEAKER_02

But you know your audience, nigga. Fuck that. You know your audience.

SPEAKER_00

It's a British award show. Nobody ain't thinking.

SPEAKER_02

You got you got two niggas on here for an American movie. It's a worldwide audience. Don't give me that. Oh, this is we in Britain, nigga. Nah, when we in Britain, y'all do as American motherfuckers, shit. Y'all shoot us as such, nigga. But shit, they treat us like that over here, so what's the expecting of Britain? And like I said, it was an isolated event uh with a person with Tourette's as unpredictable as they are. Uh you kind of gotta maybe brush it under the rug as like it could have been Tourette's. The fact that he has Tourette's kind of gives him like a not a pass, but like a pass, bro.

SPEAKER_00

Not a pass for the past.

SPEAKER_02

Not a pass, but like a pass, bro. Like, and we still gonna look at you crazy. Like we still want you to feel bad afterwards.

SPEAKER_00

But he apologized to the award show. He didn't apologize to Michael B. Jordan and Del Roy. He apologized, he apologized for the award show. He and his apology, he didn't list their names at all. That's I guess maybe that's the other reason why I'm kind of like, man, because you didn't apologize to the people that you offended. You apologized to the award show. Then he goes on to the award show. That's the case.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, if that's the case, yeah. You got a reason to be uh offended. If I was Michael B. Jordan, I would feel like uh if anything, you owe me an apology. Yeah. Uh me.

SPEAKER_00

Not the award show, me. You owe me an apology.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but I mean, I wouldn't I wouldn't lose no sleep over it, honestly. Um there's more shit to worry about. Shit. So fuck that, you know. You uh kind of like brush that one off, just keep it moving, and just go on to the next problem you're doing with. So that ain't nothing but one motherfucker with Tourette's and uh he kind of got a pass because of that, you know. You can't really put them under fire as much as you would just, you know, a random.

AI Headlines And Media Responsibility

SPEAKER_00

But uh, last thing on that, Google uh of course it got taken down like 50 stuff got taken down. Uh they had an AI generated news alert after the after the award show and it read uh what did it read on the uh how the terrorist fall out unfolded at the at the fin at the award show Hollywood reporter see more on niggas including the nigga word now is nigga is not just removed from the from AI is that not is that not crazy? Honest like regular cuss words, okay, cool. I don't understand why AI got regular cuss words in it, but okay, cool. This nigga, you got nigga that the AI can come up with it? Why would and then you let AI okay, you let AI generate the the alert, the Google alert. Don't nobody check there's nobody checking the AI stuff, AI just is on the timer, and every two hours put out a Google alert, and then whatever it says, we just we just gonna roll with it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I mean nobody else like they play with us.

SPEAKER_00

They don't play with no other race, no other religion, like they play with us.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well, you know, we over time we've not took offense to them playing with us as much. So um they'll keep playing as long as they can, you know. Uh as we sit in the middle of this uh election coming up, everyone's reporting. This one is too uh it's the time for you to take a stand, you know. These are the little things that matter, you know, you gotta be playing with, do something. So they're gonna keep doing it.

SPEAKER_00

Ask like most of the place now.

SPEAKER_02

It's just a program, you know, it's just a program at the end of the day. Uh just some software.

SPEAKER_00

Uh somebody had to train that software.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I mean, you know, the the the I guess the the j it did its job. You know, it took pieces of the article and the headline made a headline of it and sent it out as an alert. It did what it was supposed to do. It didn't it didn't choose to call us that. It was what it was reporting on. I wasn't like, man, I can't believe these raggedy niggas getting another award. You know, like it wasn't AI decided to say it. It just said, hey, this is what was said at the thing, and the hot but the hot button word, the one that's gonna garner attention happened to be niggas.

SPEAKER_00

I wonder, but because I didn't get the Google, I don't own Google alerts. I wonder if you actually had a click on it. Because it said more of niggas, would it be more on the actual story, or would it actually be more on black people? I'm assuming it's gonna be the actual I get Google alerts.

SPEAKER_02

I probably have one on my phone right now, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So actual story, not like a web search.

SPEAKER_02

It usually gives you like a uh to tell you, you know, who it's coming from. Um and then it kind of just gives you like a general fraction of the article, like just like a small little headline, you know, like uh maybe a sentence or two. Like I got one right here for uh it says Yahoo Sports, uh Cleveland star James Harden is being evaluated after sustaining a fracture, uh fracture right thumb against the Knicks.

SPEAKER_00

So they just treated me.

SPEAKER_02

And then it might have like like you know, Seymour or uh you know show a few of these, but like it usually doesn't say like C-mour on like a topic.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, it's go it takes you to the actual article. Okay, I was gonna say I don't get the Google alarms, so I don't really know what it actually do, but it takes you to the actual act the actual article. Okay, yeah. Hey man, uh Mr. Bird Glass himself. I appreciate you doing the vibe, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_02

Uh I appreciate being here. I'm glad I could step in with nobody else available.
