Yes, the waiting place. I feel like that. This is a timely word that I want to share with you guys just for this season and really any kind of season, Uh, you know, moving forward. But especially during this covert cove. It 19 scenario this happened with us all based in the whole entire world. And because I know my podcast reaches basic the whole entire world, I believe I'm actually on all seven continents. I think there's seven continents are there. Anyway, please forgive me, guys. So if you listen to this, I know that you guys were stay in shelter. This whole entire covert 19 thing. It's kind of hit. But I wanted to talk about the waiting place and possibly some prophetic things that I feel like that could be on the verge of affecting you. The success has listener, which is, you know, you guys that are actually listening in my podcast, which I do appreciate it. Let me get a quick swig. Ah, drink. And we'll kind of get into this. So as you guys know. Or if you didn't know, this actual episode will be almost a a dub tail off of the prior episode. And really the prior five episodes. So I've been talking about for the last couple episodes, this whole entire thing about financial freedom that you should not be married to this world system. Okay? And how that you could actually be financially free from this Earth car system. And I laid out a couple things a couple episodes ago. And then I even introduced this concept. Yes. Last episode of Adopt the Joseph Mindset. No, the scripture verse I want to jump off of Is this right here is actually he burst after six verse 12. Let me get to Hebrew 6 12 Okay. And I'm reading from the New American Standard version so so that you will not lose will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patients in hair to the promises Let me read this in the amplified classic real quick for you guys. So here we go in order that you may not grow disinterested and become spiritually sluggers. But imitators behaving as do those who through faith by their leaning on the entire personality of God in Christ, in absolute trust and confidence in his power, wisdom in goodness and by practice of patients, endurance and waiting are no are now inheriting the promises. All right, who so as you guys, if if you've listened to me for any number of years, you'll know that I've actually talked about the waiting so waiting place, I actually got this revelation just maybe about right around 2017 the latter part of that or I don't know, or maybe 2018. A lot of part of that I don't remember when I did, but I do remember the actual episodes. So actually, I have four episodes that I have actually done. And I have talked about this whole entire waiting period. Maybe because I talked to some of different people throughout my week, and I majority of them, I can tell, are in the waiting place because I used to be in the waiting place, and I feel like that if you have ears to hear and you wanna go back and listen to any of those episodes, like Episode 1 35 is the very first time I got this revelation of the waiting place and how what to do in the waiting place and what what what? It means that it's OK to be in the waiting place. That's that's key right there. What? I just said that it's OK to be in the waiting place. You're not missing anything. You're not missing out on anything. It's okay to be in the waiting place because here's the thing. And this is why sale This is because I know that God has placed a dream or goal or desire or an assignment on your heart or inside your life if you're listening to me Successes, listener if you listen, I know this is you because you want success. You wouldn't be listening to the success edge podcast. And I know that you have this desire or dream inside of you just like the last episode of talked about how that you've got to be in this Joseph mindset of actually in training or, you know, taking what where your ad being faithful with where you're at. So they guess what you're able toe, learn and grow and be coachable and be teachable and gain everything you can gain so that when you do enter into that promotion, ah, season, you're not caught off guard. You're not ill prepared. I was actually listening to an episode that I was interviewed by Shea Bynes, uh, Kingdom driven entrepreneur podcast. I believe it's Episode 69 on Katie and here's the deal. I said something in that episode that when I went back and we listen to it, actually, last week I was like, Man, that was actually really good What I said and what I said was, Your season of preparing or your season of being prepared is just as important, if not more important than your season of promotion. Because the season of preparation will your season, a promotion will never happen. Or if it does happen, it won't manifest in the fullness of what God wants it to, because you decided to short cut the shortcut. God is all about having you take a shortcut. He's never about the long road. Trust me, he wants you to take the shortest route possible, and he's also protecting you from sabotaging yourself. Therefore, you have got to be okay with awaiting right. So that's Episode 1 35 that I actually talked about being okay with a wedding. And then I talked about episode 1 42 that there's winning in the waiting, that you don't have to feel like that you're going backwards, that you actually can still prosper and flourish Exactly where you are Moving All Episode 1 90 Episode 1 90 Obviously a very recent podcast, but in that I actually talk about What is God doing? Why you're actually in the waiting place, Why you're actually in the waiting and talk about how that the Children of Israel were brought out of Egypt. But what was that 11 day journey? God really, purposefully had them to be in a holding pattern for over 2.5 years of communing and relying upon him before he actually brought them. Teoh the the time where he wanted to bring them into the promised land. But obviously they weren't even ready for that. So they missed the whole entire boat of being prepared, but nevertheless so that I talked about that. The next episode 1 90 and then an episode 1 93 I talk about Moses and how that if you decide to short circuit or jump ahead in your own desire own will to step out of your ah season of waiting. Then you can short circuit God's plan. And I talked about that. Actually, an episode 1 93 So in this episode, I've got seven things. I actually was reading an article. I was really surprised when I read this article, actually from Success magazine. A secular magazine? Yes. Did I say I read six secular things? Yes, I do. Get a quick swig of water. Go. All right. And I read this. And actually, the title of the article is Enjoy the weight. No. And the the subtitle to those patients is mawr than a virtue. It's a super power. So I really want to kind of empower you during this time. I want to equipped you during this time of being in the waiting what you're actually doing in the waiting, You know, the whole Joseph adoption. The Joseph mindset, you know, is yes. You're gonna have a teachable, you know, teach ability and so forth during this time of training and learning and observing. You know what's going on around you so that you're prepared for that season of promotion and coming out of your waiting place. But here, I want to give you even mawr, uh, things to do or things to realize. Or maybe mindsets actually shift upon. And he doesn't does a great job of actually giving giving these seven things. And I might add, I've kind of changed some of the things around as far as the titles of the seven things, but they're pretty much the same. So here we go. The 1st 1 is except where you are. All right. Except where you are. Successes, community. Let me tell you something. There's a quote right here about William James. Acceptance of what has happened is the first step toe overcoming the consequences of any misfortune. So you gotta just own it, Okay? I'm in the waiting place, and that was for me back in 2000. I think it was 17. Whenever I finally just said You know what? I'm okay with being in the waiting place. I'm not gonna try to rush this. It took me years to do this. I wish somebody had come alongside of me and said Hey, Hey, dude. Hey, man, be okay with us. Celebrate this. This is OK, except it for what it is. But no, I didn't mean but for me, I'm going encourage you guys to accept where your are, where you are. All right. I talked to a gentleman just yesterday that it was literally I talked to him right around lunchtime, right around. Oh, it was actually Thursday. I take that back Thursday, I talked to him and he had just gotten about two hours prior the proverbial call that he is being let go of his job. So he is now part of that right here in the United States. There's 30 million people. According to last statistic, I heard roughly 30 million people that are on unemployment right now because of this whole covert 19. But there's good news in all this and also think about the gentleman I talked to. He had a a confidence. He added, He I believe he had kind of come to the place where he had accepted that. You know what? I'm not exactly where I want to be, and I'm actually getting out of something I didn't want to be in. But now I'm still not where I totally want to be, but I'm still moving forward. I'm still in this place of waiting, and I know I'm gonna see the light of day. And he wasn't trying to rush off and do anything silly, right? You know, my whole entire thing is, is that you've got to accept where you are, right? Number two waiting is not. And I have to stress the word not. I got that in all caps, not in activity. So you can use patients because I I go back to this whole entire Scripture verse in Hebrews, Chapter 11. Hey, Hebrews, Chapter six, verse 12. But it says that by practice of patient endurance, So it's not sitting there twiddling your thumbs going and eating a hot pocket and go on playing video games the whole entire time. No, during your season of waiting, when you're you're doing what Joseph was doing of observing how to run a ranch, how to run a prison, how to manage these things, how to work with other people. There's no in activity during this. This place of waiting, you are very active. In fact, I promise you this that you're probably doing more things of your learning than you thought. possible. And, you know, I feel like that if you take embrace this thing, you know, one of the mindsets that you have to say no to and I had This is well, all right. I know I had this. And this is where that you know, it can sabotage you know yourself. But you have to resist and say no, thank you to anxiety toe worry to thinking I'm not in the right place to be becoming impatient person. You can't do those things. I just know that. That's why this gentleman I was talking to you could sell. You could tell he was piece. There was a piece about him, You know, one of things. I told him that in the kingdom, in the Kingdom of God, there are three things in the kingdom. And if you're not experienced in these three things that something's going on in the kingdom, there's three things. There's peace, there's righteousness. And there's joy in the holy Spirit. So if those three things aren't in an operation in your time of waiting or really any time during your life, then you're not operating in the kingdom. So you don't want Oh, you're going to be active. It's just you need to not sabotage yourself by getting impatient or getting, you know, anxious thoughts about what's gonna happen. How am I gonna fix this? What about do you might be tapping into a lot of your savings right now if you just lost your job. And I'm here to tell you guys I go back and talk about, um, one or two episode couple upstairs ago where I said I have a business meeting with God. You've got to daily not just have a quiet time where you're reading the Bible and, you know, kind of building up your spirit, man, and, you know, doing you know. But I'm talking about having us having a no agenda where you sit down with your heavenly father and talk and let him talk to you about what the assignment is for that day. You're not gonna be inactive. Waiting is not in activity. All right, The other thing. All right. So the number three let's go. Number three. In this article he talks about, you actually need to be be a stoic, be a stoic. Now, I'm not talking about the whole philosophy of you know being stoic or whatever I'm talking about, actually, just coming to a resolution that you know what, I can't control everything. There's this great quote right here. I don't know how to say that. Dilemmas named Accorded. Anyone read the quote. Happiness and freedom begin with a clear understanding of one principle. Some things are within our control and some things are that's powerful right there. I've always I've always said this of always. I'd always believe this. There's only two things. Ah, that you can control your actions in your attitude. You know, in this article he actually says that you can control your thoughts, your emotions, your words and your actions, especially to summarize the two things your actions, your attitude. You can control your actions, your attitude if you those are the two things. The only two things that you can control outside of that is, say, lobby whatever. But I know for me personally yesterday I had to get a grip with my attitude. I was not exactly having a good attitude because there were some things going on and around in my world. There was throwing me off my normal routine and it really did agitate me. Okay, but okay, I'm Tony. Stop pouring your energy into putting things back into the way they used to be. All right? You you can't go back to the past. You can't try toe salvage that. Stop. Stop trying to do that on Lee. Going to make you upset. It's like it's almost like rearranging Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic is going down. Stopped rearranging the deck chairs. It's not gonna happen. So in my opinion, in my opinion, you know, you can plan as much you want to, but in the end of the day, you can only control those two things. So right along see the waiting season as a gift. Now I want I kind of want to camp out right here. Melo. Let me see. I'm just time in my into right now. Wow. 19 minutes. Okay. I'm a number four. I'm halfway. All right. See the waiting season as a gift. Now, here's what I mean by that. Let's talk about that real quick. That's what I want to kind of camp out. Wrote real quick on because of this really specifically what we're in right now. And I want to kind of speak to something that's been brewing inside of me from a prophetic standpoint. Teoh, do you guys insist s a community? So has as a born again believer, you were created to solve a problem. Okay? You were created to solve a problem. One of the number one things that I hear or is what's my purpose? What What am I here for? Well, you were created to solve a problem. Every single thing was created to solve a problem. My contacts were created so that my vision concede the whiteboard that I have right here in front of me. In my in my office, a k my bat cave was created so I could write on a dry erase surface. It was created for that. The phone I'm holding in my hand is I'm recording This podcast was created to solve a problem. You sec were created so problem and in this season awaiting recognize it as a gift as a time because here we are, here we are guys were like in the seventh week I know in the States in the United States were in the like the seventh week of basically shut down and we haven't. There's not a lot of states that have started to. There's some states have actually started to, uh, start to come out and start toe let the economy or let the you know things start happened. But this is your season of getting quiet in going back and having that daily business meeting that daily meeting with your heavenly father and start to get that as a routine that for me, because I know that I just got this revelation of this whole entire business meeting thing. But, Tony, it is something that is has been a gift. It's like I've actually being able to come alive and throw off. You know, a lot of things that I was caring as far as the responsibilities of how I was going to provide for my family and one side once I got in. This revelation during this waiting season of, you know, stay in shelter literally, it became this gift of where I'm at today. I mean, I believe I heard my pastor say this, that, um, Sir Isaac Newton, who discovered a lot of a lot of things, actually discovered a lot of his things that he discovered actually, when there was a pandemic going on, uh, in the country that he lived where he had to stay in shelter during that time and because of that staying shelter. Olson, all these things got birth. I think that's where he discovered gravity. Or, you know, whatever. So I'm telling you guys use this as a gift. This this season uses as gifts seed as a gift. All right. See it as a gift. No. All right. I will jump to number five. Frustration opens no doors, and this is Ah, this is one thing that I've learned a long time ago when you're frustrated. I remember hearing this from a gentleman, and it's just stuck with me ever since when you're frustrated, you're not of faith. When you're frustrated, you really don't do yourself any good, and you don't do anybody else around you any good. I know that you want to be somewhere else. I know you want to, uh, come into the destiny or coming to the calling. That guy's got you. And but you know what? That frustration, that that longing of being there that caused you to be frustrated, it's not gonna open any door. Guys not moved by your frustration. Uh oh. That's pretty good. Right there. God is not moved by your frustration. Let me take a swig of my drink here. And you think about that. One has not moved by your frustration. So there's no reason to sit there and try toe manufacture anything you know. No credit, Ishmael. Because of your frustration, frustration will lead to this meal if you if you if you said there and ponder on it long enough. All right. So number six this was good when I saw this one. Hey, I'm putting this into this was just really, really, really good. Waiting or patients is natural. This is so good. I I had this. This quote they has in the article It is so good. Bye. Ah, I don't know. Say lows E Lowy too. Please forgive me. I'm just gonna read this, right. This quote nature does not hurry. Nature does not yet does not hurry yet Everything is accomplished. Oh, man, Its host nature doesn't hurry, guys, nature is never in a hurry. I mean, you know, you said there you look at the grass. You look at trees. You're good flowers. They're not trying toe, you know, get a little microwave dinner going on. They're not tryingto figure out how to cut corners or how to shave off time. Nature is a master of patients. Everything is accomplished in natural nature, and it's never in a hurry. You know that is coming. You know that's gonna happen. And yet here's the thing. It always shows up right on time. The germination happens and you don't have to try toe forces. That's why I'm telling you guys that this waiting period is natural. That's why you don't need toe short circuit. It don't do that. Okay? Last thing I'll say in this article that he has after number seven it is. You'll become, you will become stronger. You will be better because of this. And I want to go to a Scripture verse, actually, in James James, Chapter one. Okay, let's see kind of joyfully got a holy joyfully, my brother, whenever you in our enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. But excuse me, be assure and understand the trial. Improving of your faith brings out endurance patience. Instead, Fastness let endurance, said Fastness, and patients have full play and do a thorough work so that you may be people perfectly fully developed with no defects lacking in nothing. Sogang, I'm not here to tell you that when you go through you when you allow the Holy Spirit, when you allow police for to take you to the full extent about waiting period, you might be, ah, frustrated you maybe one plus frustrated Jose, I'll tell you that they don't do you No good. You gotta do what I've talked about at the very beginning. Just accept that you're gonna be in this time of waiting. It's OK. And guess what? Just know the vision that you know, you are going to be OK. You know, one of things that I remember. I think it was John, uh, a cuff. I'm thinking that I'm seeing the same right, but he did a talker. Get a quote out there that you should embrace your season of being invisible. You need to embrace your season of being invisible. Because once you go, once you're visible, everybody critics everybody can take a shot. Everybody's looking to, you know, and your Caesar promotion. You talk about Moses all right. He talks about embracing your season of being invisible when really nobody knows who you are. Be okay with it. You know, I remember a lot of times whenever I was in my season, it's still in my season. I still feel like I'm still a little bit of my season of, of, of waiting, although I feel like there's things started kind of percolate. But I know that things are going to speed up or life could potentially speed up is as things kind of get on the other side of this of the time of promotion and the getting into my promised land happening. I tell you, if you allow patients, if you allow the waiting place to do its full work guys like I said in James chapter after one Verse four, it says, Let endurance, steadfastness, patience, have full play and do a thorough work so that you may be people perfectly fully developed with no defect lacking and nothing successes community. I'm telling you, guys, if you'll you'll take these things right here that I talked about. The waiting place, except where you are waiting, is not in activity. Okay, be stoic. Be be resolute that you can only control what you can control your actions in your attitude. You can't control the past. What's done you can't control. What if somebody else is doing so. I'm tryingto mess with that. Don't do it. Four c You're waiting Season as a gift. Frustrate in opens no doors. Six waiting or patients is natural. Number seven you will become.
