This episode connects us with Nick Azzone. Nick is a Professional Footballer who has been in the sport since age 11. Nick has progressed through the youth National Premier League 1 system since he was in U/13's with APIA Leichhardt FC. Within his career, Nick has represented APIA in Italy and has also played Futsal in America representing his University and Country. Nick currently plays with APIA Leichhardt FC in the First Grade squad which are in NPL 1; the second tier of football in Australia, always striving to reach the top tier and beyond.

Nick shares with us his journey and dream of becoming an elite A-league footballer player and potentially playing in Europe one day. Nick gives us insights into all the associated struggles and victories along the way. Nick also opens up about the loss of a loved family member and how it was the catalyst for his mental-emotional transformation.

Nick takes us inside his process of performance and the various mental-emotional tools that he has incorporated to support himself within his self-belief, confidence and how to handle pressure, so he can perform at his best within the game he loves – football.
