Fazal Syed
Fazal Syed is a former professional tennis player and the founder and director of Level7 Tennis. Growing up in Kolkata, India, as the son of legendary Indian footballer Syed Nayeemuddin, Fazal rose to become the No. 1 junior in India, represented his country in the Davis Cup from 1998 to 2001, and reached top-200 in doubles and top-400 in singles on the ATP tour. He was India's national grass-court champion in 2000, a bronze medalist at the 1998 Asian Games, and a USTA national clay-court champion. He later coached Grand Slam champions Mahesh Bhupathi and Martin Damm on the US Open circuit.
Named USTA Middle States Pro of the Year and a faculty member at Tennis Congress, Fazal now coaches players of all levels near Philadelphia.
