Life Possible Podcast - Lynnie Mehus "Fueled by Fat!"
Lynnie had all but given up on her running career. She loved it, but it did not love her. Chronic injuries piled up, her weight wouldn’t budge, and she never felt like she had the energy she was supposed to have from her “healthy runner’s diet.” Her Chiropractor educated her as to why her current approach to nutrition and her metabolic health was most likely responsible for her symptoms and the stubborn weight. She started the Ideal protein protocol with him, and her results were nothing short of “life changing!” Not only did she melt off 11% bodyfat on her already “fit” body, but her inflammation also subsided, GI tract cleaned up and her running improved like never before! The following year, not only did she achieve many personal bests, but she accomplished a lifetime running goal and ran her first full marathon ever at the age of 55 (and was able to enjoy every moment of it)!! Her training and racing energy was through the roof, and her ability to physically recover was better than she ever thought possible! Her favorite phrase she still says to me is “I don’t know what you did to me doc!” - but I do…and we will share that with you during this show!
